AVOID Green Light, Yours Car Rental and Amsal Demir.

I booked through Booking.com, returned the car as agreed and in good condition, and paid a 2,200 BAM security deposit. Despite returning the vehicle, my deposit was not returned.

My communication was mainly with Amsal Demir. I received no clear damage report, no proper explanation and no proper documentation justifying the retention of my deposit.

After my experience, I strongly advise other customers to be extremely careful with Green Light / Yours Car Rental and Amsal Demir. Document everything, take photos and videos, and keep every message and payment record.

I would never rent from them again.

​I booked a rental car at Sarajevo Airport through a third-party broker (Stress Free Car Rental) operated locally by Green Light d.o.o. / Idea Mobility.

​This company engages in severe unfair practices regarding customer deposits:

​Unjustified Deposit Deductions: They held a £1,000 security deposit under the guise of standard rental procedures, only to later claim vehicle damage after departure.
​Falsified Damage Reports: Upon return at Sarajevo Airport, the vehicle was inspected and cleared.

However, after I left, red marks and handwritten damage notes were added to the check-out sheet without my presence, consent, or signature.

​Discrepant Billing & Invoices: Their damage documentation listed repair quotes for an entirely different vehicle registration plate than the car

I was assigned and drove.
​Solid Video Evidence: Fortunately, I recorded video footage of the entire handoff at pickup and drop-off, including explicit verbal confirmation on camera from the agent that the car was fine and the deposit was cleared.

​Non-Existent Support: The company ignores direct communications, refuses to issue refunds, and fails to provide required fiscal documentation.

Stop GreenLight car rental at Sarajevo airport. They are scammers. We rented a Dacia Sandero from June 6 to June 9 and returned it in perfect condition. They withheld the deposit instead of refunding it. We have already reported it to the broker and check24 platform. Do not rent a car here

Warning warning, never rent from this company, they cheat renters. I rented a car from them, the owner Amsal Demir, with many scratches, I took pictures of everything when I received it, the day I return the car, I go through the car with the employee and sign that everything looks fine, and it is as it should be. Yet when I travel home, they contact me that there are scratches in the car that were not there, even though I have pictures of two of the scratches myself from the day I received the car. And a scratch under the car that they also think I made. Now they have withdrawn the money and it is theft, they have withdrawn 2000 euros. And they say it was dirty. Never heard of you having to vacuum the car before you hand it over to the lessor. So never rent from them unless you want to be cheated. I will also contact the airport to discuss it with them. I pray to God that every coin he has cheated me and others out of will be spent on medicine for himself and his family.
