I loved going here even enjoying a pint of ipa or old speckled hen and chatting to the barmaids and manager who i have become great friends with over the last 9+years.its very welcoming and friendly even when it was busy i often helped out glass collecting and cleaning up at end of night too.

We live next door to this pub and normal have great customer service from the pub under the management of young guy called Danny, who is a credit to Green king. We have left good tips in the past also., Tonight we ordered our meal and the starters came which we finished but 45 minutes later we had still not had our mains. We enquired from the elderly manager who informed us/ blamed us that his team was trying to hard and had burnt our fish and was recooking. hence the reason for the delay. I stated we had paid for two bottles of wine which would normally last us the meal. To which he obnoxiously stated I know your thirsty, we know what your drinking, and we will sort. He could not of been more rude and obnoxious if he’d of tried.... I’m sure the company had had feedback like this before as you can’t suddenly become so rude and obnoxious over night. In short the company at a senior level need to identify key employees and understand those who drive regular customers away.

Had a great meal at The Fox and Hounds Wimborne last night. Food and service was excellent. Plenty of room between tables so felt safe to eat there. Definately will be going back

First time away in our touring caravan and stayed at West Kirkby Caravan site from 9th - 12th July 2020 The Cottage Loaf pub is about 10 mins drive away. Tried to book a table but was unable but advised to use their Takeaway service.Ordered two meals 1x Hunter Chicken and 1x Signature Hunters Chicken cost £22 for 1900hrs pickup. Picked it up at 1900hrs and took it back to our caravan. Obviously this was not freshly cooked and had been hanging around for some time. It was a congealed mess and cold also some of the order was missing, no leaves or garlic bread. I just threw it in the bin in anger. I know I should have taken it back but one hears of how food when returned is treated so was not taking any more risks. We travel around in our caravan a lot so eat at lot of eating places, but will never use Greene king pubs again. I think they are lucky to be given one star. Please do inform Green King Pubs of this review as I have already complained on their website.

The pub/restaurant just opened after lockdown,on arrival we were greeted by Kristy Holtham, who asked us to clean our hands with sanitizer at the entrance.
we were taken straight to our table on a one way system, ordered our food to which Kristy brought to us with drinks,she explained how to follow the exit route and toilets.
We had our meal which was perfect and thanked Kristy for looking after us,we felt very safe in this pub and will be a regular here.

Since the new opening safety measures have been in place The Kensington is a fantastic pub for the whole family. It is clean, safe, spacious and the food is exceptional! The staff have gone out of their way to ensure their customers are safe and well cared for and this also applies to their colleagues. The app could do with a bit of a tweak as you cannot order crisps so still have to go to the bar but can’t fault it in any other way. It took a while to get used to the table service and not take your drinks with you from the bar but totally understand why they are doing this. Special mention to Jacky the Manager, Jade, Nicola and Brandon, the chef, for their excellent service.

RIP OFF AVOID !
I went to my local The Manor on Monday 06/07/20 with my son. We both liked the sound of the LOADED bucket at £5.99, 'fill' your bucket with of one the chicken options, yummy we think and sounds good to share ! WRONG ! 6 little tiny bits of chicken come out in a little grey plastic tray, what ! Just checking with the very helpful waitress that this is the right starter, yes it is I am told. I am not happy with this and ask to speak to the manager. Manager Vic arrives and when I advise that the wording on the menu is very misleading for what you actually get I tells me that it is nothing to do with him it is Greenking that tell him how much and in what to serve it. He can not do anything but he will pass the feedback on ! Can I have a number to call myself, no sorry no number but I will pass it on! After me advising this level of customer service is not really acceptable I am offered 10% off my bill, still expensive ! I called Greenking myself to be advised that this particular pub is part of the 'pub partners' and has a manager in and it is not them that decide on portion size etc but actually the manager, nice one Vic lie the the customers face !! In the current financial climate I appreciate we all might be struggling but charging £5.99 for 6 poxy bits of chicken in a grey plastic tray is day light robbery. I am not surprised we were the only people in the place when all other Greenking establishments in this area are fully booked !

Our local, Horse and Groom at Moorgreen. Fantastic. Service always great. Always busy and people having a good time. Outside seating is lovely and fine for pets. A park for the kids. Blankets in case you get cold. The food, wow. The roast dinners are gorgeous. The home made Nachos for starter delicious. The halloumi fries, the veggie burger.. Everything we have tried is spot on. The booze is great too and such a big variety. Always busy but book a table you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to pop in the beer garden soon

Bystander pub wootton what I lovely manager nathan and staff debs . For helping out the community in this bad times. The pub is lovely and clean and my clients that I look after in the community love coming here for their meals all the staff look after them well.

went to the langbrook farm and the toilets and outside the pub were disgusting the service was slow waited 30 mins for puddings the only quick service was the carvery

Too many reserved tables, waited around for 30 minutes and the same reserved tables are still empty. Saw people come and go because of these reserved “empty” tables, maybe look after the people who walk in wanting to spend money with you....now sitting in one of your competitors a Slizzing pub, spending my money with them.

Visited a few of these in the past and generally a brilliant experience.

Like anything else, it isnt always perfect but I love the homely, British feel to these places. As you can see from my name, my Heritage isn't British so I'm not just saying this. Love what these pubs bring to the country.

Some staff really should not be in the job but you will get that in every industry. Positive service always outweighs the negative

Great reputation and great food, keep doing it

The Welcome Inn in Bishopstoke. Friendly local pub with great beer AND the most awesome steaks (ribeye and a rump) on Friday 14th. Cooked to perfection at Medium Rare.
We have dined is some exclusive places but these steaks were the best.

Visited the Phantom Winger Preston and have only good things to say. Food was lovely and we had first class service from our waitress (Courtney). Polite and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend a visit

Attended the barn in great baddow Chelmsford last night. Wow never ever again. Recieved cold scampi, chicken that had hard then soft bits throughout, reheated rock hard chips, a random sweet potato fry clearly from someone else's order stale bread you could break but holding it. I actually threw up before leaving as food turned my stomach and today I have extreme stomach cramps. When made complaint last night was offered free dessert. Are you kidding me? You can't get bread right or heat food up why would I risk a dairy product too? I will be contacting food standards agency today as clearly its dangerous to eat there.

went here with the misses, kids and dogs today. Food was lovely, staff were very polite and friendly, nice atmosphere, A good place to with the family after a long walk, the lady bar staff even gave us a bowl of water for the dogs. Highly recommend

Fabulous Festive Menu
Second visit to the Two Greens in Tettenhall as I enjoyed the first visit. I went with some friends and we all had the festive menu. The food was tasty and hot with excellent service. Probably the best Turkey pub meal I have had. My friends all enjoyed their meals and we will be returning in the new year.

Please don't visit this pub, green king Hungry Horse Norwich incompetent management namely Mike, don't know his surname, he's been sacked from his last two previous jobs through incompetence, I totally understand why, if you want a better experience please go somewhere else, and enjoy a night out

Do not leave your jacket in the Blackfriars pub as the big, burger munching, brunette member of staff will be wearing it! Disgusted!
