My son (6) attended Green Planet Forest School for the first time this Easter and absolutely loved it. The staff were so warm, enthusiastic and wonderfully patient with the children. They even used fun, forest‑themed character names, which my son thought was brilliant.

Although he already does forest school at his own school, this felt like a whole new level of adventure. They had real tools and equipment for exploring, plus a little notebook and pencil so the children could record their discoveries. It turned the whole session into a hands‑on, imaginative learning experience, and he’s already asked if he can go again. The weather was dry on the day he attended, and he came home clean and happy.

We only booked a single session at Hill View School during the Easter break, but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for future dates. Sadly, nothing seems to be available for May half term yet — but we’d jump at the chance if more sessions were released.

If you’re looking for a fun, exploratory outdoor learning experience for children, this is a fantastic choice. I’d highly recommend it. The Hill View sessions run 9–3, slightly shorter than some holiday clubs, but absolutely packed with adventure.

My two children have been attending the Green Planet Forest School holiday clubs for a couple of years now, and we will definitely be back! They love it - they go in happily every single time, and return tired and dirty! I love that they are spending time outside and learning many valuable skills. Would definitely recommend!

My son attended the holiday club in Banbury, and it was great start to finish. My son is a sen kid, and I was a little worried if the club would be able to accommodate him. I sent an enquiry in, and Alex got back to me straight away. We had a chat about what additional help my son might need, and he put my mind at ease. My son had a great day with Mr Mud, he came home exhausted and filthy- it was great!

Both my children (girl and boy age 5 and 7) had an amazing time at their outdoor Easter holiday club. Although I had to work for six days during their school break, it was such a relief knowing they were having so much fun—playing in the woods, building things, sitting around the campfire, and being cared for by adults I trust.

It’s easily our favourite holiday club, and my children ask to go back every time!

Just make sure they wear outdoor or old clothes—they come home happy and very muddy, just as kids should!

The best Forest school! My son who’s 4 has been to both Evenley and Buckingham every school holiday and absolutely loves both! He has the best time and learns so much! He’s grown in confidence and knowing so much about outside it’s been incredible! Mr Mud and big Jack are amazing at what they do!every holiday my son is so excited to get back to forest school. My kids always have the absolute best time at forest school! They learn something new every time and always seem more confident with things like climbing trees after. It's the only holiday club I'll send them to, so much better (for them) than the sports clubs that are very common in this area.

My two children took part in the Easter camp and had a brilliant time. The leaders understood that they were in a new setting with children they didn't know and made them feel safe and welcome. They came home full of pride and excitement about what they had achieved during the day and asked to go again in half term (as long as there's s'mores!).

Such a lovely experience for my little boys. They absolutely love Forest School and look forward to it every time. The team are so warm, caring, and engaging, you can really see how much they enjoy what they do. It’s been amazing for their confidence, creativity, and love of the outdoors. We’re so grateful to have found them.

Our son has been coming every half term or holiday. This forest school is run by passionate group of great people who focus on teaching our explores new things and keeps them outdoors all day. Input son is super excited each time he comes back covered in mud head to toe including his lunch box 🤣

Kids had a fantastic day making trolls, facepainting and playing in the woods. They asked to go again at pick up - what a great day!

Both of our daughters have been coming to the Buckingham site since they started and they still love it. Even our older daughter still wants to go and was upset when I didn’t book her initially. A couple of phone calls later and Mr Mud had her booked in short notice. Amazing communication and service and the kids are cared for in such a fun, adventurous and caring way by everyone in the team. I can highly recommend.

My son loves this forest school so much; he begs to go back every school holiday. He's gone to 3 different sites and they've all been fantastic. The staff are amazing; they're super friendly and the children love them.

I've just finished the first 6 days of training towards Forest School Leader Qualification and the course, led by Mr Mud, was simply fantastic. Such a joy to spend this time learning about play and nature, it would be worth it for the experience alone, but with Mr Mud's leadership the course is also extremely informative and sets you up with all the skills needed to be a Forest school leader. I highly recommend!

Even more amazing the the after school club that my explorers attend. Then absolutely loved attending and asked me to book the next block already.

Staff were unbelievably engaging and creative. They make a super fun welcome, & kids come back exhausted but happy! My daughter goes solo & keeps asking to go back!! Love it!

My Son went to the Evenly Forest School this Easter 1/2 term and he LOVED IT! He said he loved the hide and seek, making a fire and playing with new friends. Knowing that he is outdoors in the fresh air playing in nature having fun is so important when children these days have a lot of screen distraction. The sessions book up fast so we ww are booking him into another couple of days over the Summer too!

Green Planet are a superb resource and have been a godsend for me in accommodating my disabled child (with appropriate additional support provided) in a way that other provisions are unable or unwilling to do. Truly inclusive, respectful, child centered, fun activities and can-do attitude. Top marks

My kids love this. We had a rearrange our holiday plans to make sure they got at least one of Forest School. The staff are super friendly and the kids come back full of chat, energy and mud, then sleep super well. What more can you ask?

Fantastic option for childcare in the holidays. My little one sees this as a real treat and not just a place he has to go whilst I'm at work. He counts down the days until he has Forest school and always has the best time. The leaders of the sessions are superb! They really engage the children and teach them so much, whilst also letting them have freedom to to just be in nature. Highly recommend.
