Absolutely horrible experience with reps texting me
Absolutely horrible experience with this company! They canceled our reservation because of their new parking fee that I refused to pay. I already paid a resort fee, wristband fee, room fee, taxes, etc.. they are ripping people off and have no regard for disclosing their fees until check in. Read plenty of reviews of the place being nasty and after my experience today, they will never get another penny from our family

I just spent 2 day at Great Wolf Lodge (Webster Texas). I had the pleasure of visiting a Great Wolf Lodge years ago when my children were small.(Ohio) I was somewhat disappointed with paying for parking. #2 advertising for adults Hot springs not one. #3 the room I was in stated that there were 3 TVs only 2 #4 My husband has knee replacement and there was no Anti slip strips in tub the gel that was provided made tub very slippery. #5 I know that the hiring pool is limited but please train the people to made sure they are knowledgeable with the words hot tub and jacuzzi they are interchangeable. A QR code of the layout wouldn’t been useful.
HORRIBLE
No limpian las habitaciones.
Estaba muy muy sucio.
El baño funcionaba mal.
La comida es muy muy mala y cara.
My family has stayed at the Fitchburg
My family has stayed at the Fitchburg, MA, location 3 times and each time was a GREAT EXPERIENCE! I love how streamlined and smooth the process is. They operate electronically so no cash whatsoever. All parties receive wristbands BUT the parents wristband's link to your room and act as a digital wallet, this way you don’t have to carry your room key, debit card, etc! The water park area has warm temperature and the water temp is just right. We didn’t feel cold at all when wet walking around. My favorites are (1) the Howlin Tornado- a thrilling ride for the family which surely gives you butterflies and is wicked fun and (2) North Hot Springs which is very relaxing, the coolest part is the outdoor adjoining pool. Last years visit it was lightly snowing outside while we were in the hot springs which was just AWESOME! When it’s time to stay dry there’s a cool arcade to play at, stores to visit, and a few small restaurants. Often times the main lobby of the lodge has entertainment for the “little” guests such as story time, music, light refreshments, etc. Dining and playing comes with a price so don’t expect this to be a cheap trip, even if only staying for one night. However, I was able to score half off the price of our room through Groupon which is a good deal (includes: 5 guests, wristbands for all and use of water park that day and next day until it closes). Overall, this is definitely a FUN FOR EVERYONE family trip worth taking!!!

The Traverse City location is not recommended. My most recent experience was taking my kids to a local baseball game to celebrate the wolf's birthday and get day passes. It appears the day passes never existed. No one knows anything. Can't speak to someone at the location. I have very sad kids to say the least. Even though I'm a local. 4 day passes would cost 270.00. That is outrageous. False advertising (promo code never existed)
AWFUL customer service
We stayed at the Poconos resort. it is enormous, especially with the enlarged accomodation additions. there are people everywhere, at all times. The staff are nice but probably cannot keep up w the volume and turnover of rooms - the common areas are not clean, the rooms are not clean. The food is terrible. Everything is overpriced. They charge for parking, but good luck finding a spot - also, how else are you supposed to be there?!
the worst part is that you will get a final invoice AFTER you have checked out, with extras charged that you likely did not incur. Good luck disputing them because it will take endless calls in getting it resolved.
I just want to thank all the staff… for finding my glasses that I lost in lazy river
I just want to thank all the staff because while I was there, I lost my glasses in the water and they had someone to go in and look for them and they found them. This is a wonderful place at Mason, Ohio.
Wonderful stay
My family and I spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Williamsburg location and we had a wonderful time for the most part. Staff was amazing but had a few issues with other guests in the establishment. Very great place for kids and also handicap friendly. The waterpark was clean and everything was in working order. The suite we stayed in was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend this location.
"I don't give a s--t" -- says employee of Great Wolf Lodge
This hotel is ... The Worst. I've flown almost 4 million miles and visited about 75 countries. I've slept alongside roaches and in small towns where you rent a bed. I've never had a worse experience than this one.
Spent all day trying to get more than 12 employees to help me get a CC on file. Not trying to do anything but spend my own money. Employee 1: you're all set. 2: should be good. 3: definitely good this time. 4: we can't do anything. Kid at the merch area by the pool actually responded, "I don't give a s--t."Hey, at least he was honest. Everyone else: lies, run-arounds, anger, hatred -- to some, again, who is only trying to spend money at the resort.
Finally made it to the top boss, who didn't try to help, who was rude and openly disdainful. She all but spit in our faces. And then, when I said, hey, if you won't let me use my CC here, can you at least cancel my reservation so I can go to a hotel where they will let me. She said no, with snark and with a laugh, while I held my crying 2-year-old daughter in my arms --- who was 2 hours past her bed time, and who hadn't eaten, because ... I didn't have a CC on file.
So that's Great Wolf for ya. Not clean. No friendly employees. Overpacked. Overpriced. And then, when you brave all that, they won't let you feed your kids, keep your kids hydrated, buy shoes you planned to in order to get around (my feet, right now: black, covered in p--s, chlorine and all the dirt that's all over every floor; not to mention the bugs, (Jesus, don't get me started on the army of insects waiting for when you visit.)
Did somebody help? No. Did somebody even try? Not at all. Not the 6 different people we spoke to at the front desk -- only one man, the middle manager, even attempted to pretend to be kind. Everyone else treated us like dogs--t. Again, crying 2-year-old in my arms. Amount of sympathy, for something that's their fault, for me just wanting to be able to buy my kid a water, with my own money? Zero. Amount of scorn? Tons. Treated like second-class citizens; openly mocked, laughed at, ignore and told "I don't give a s--t" BY AN ACTUAL GREAT WOLF EMPLOYEE; but also: can't leave, because they won't cancel the reservation; can't buy my kids water, or food, because they won't even attempt to put the CC on file; can't get anyone to help me, despite trying, kindly, for the entire day. We're effectively kidnapped.
It would be easy to forgive them for an off day, if anyone even ... tried. But you won't get that here. You'll get scorn, sadness and general misanthropy for simply asking them to ... do their jobs at the lowest level of competency.
Worst trip ever
I stayed at the great wolf lodge in Charlotte I purchased two rooms it was 6 to 8 people per room and there was only one bathroom so that was a total inconvenience...everything was very small the water park, bowling alley, arcade room you are constantly bumping someone because the areas are so small...had to pay for parking, resort fee and all kinds of taxes...due a refund because some of my guest didn't show but never received it...contact customer service on the 10th day because they said it takes 5 to 10 days for refund and all he could do is escalate it to billing so I'm waiting on someone to call me back...just so overpriced for what you get been to far better water parks for cheaper I won't be going back on the bright side my kids had fun oh yeah went down to breakfast at 10:55 to meet up with my family that was already there and was told breakfast was over and my mother was literally standing to the bar getting food..that's bad customer service and she cheated the company out of money by denying us breakfast

I went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Maryland that just opened up. Surprisingly it wasn’t designed like a normal GWF with that homey warm cabin feel. If that’s what your looking for you will be disappointed here. The food service is terrible. Specifically I went to Dunkin Donuts and Pizza place. It’s obvious GWF did not spend time training their food service staff. The Dunkin’ Donuts people just throw a bunch of donuts on a bag which I never seen any Dunkin Donuts do. The water park is surprisingly smaller. There is no Buffett service for food. Luckily it’s central enough there is plenty of other places outside of GWF to eat.

Communication and follow through from management is dismal. Departments are void of standard operating procedure training, safety training, and basic OSHA awareness. Food and Beverage department is leaderless, pack-members are not exactly team players, and the food is both mediocre and overpriced. Equipment, food and beverage machines, floors, furniture, lighting, even the ruddy clock tower show are all in states of disrepair and neglect. Job security is an illusion and taking initiative or doing the right thing can be grounds for termination. The brand charges Disney World Mickey Mouse prices, but instead delivers fast food results delivered by a person wearing a paper rat mask.

Most uncomfortable couch in the world…
Most uncomfortable couch in the world to try to sit on to relax or watch TV. TV positioning is such that you cannot see from both beds, had to watch from foot of bed and reposition dresser TV is mounted to to enable viewing. Paid for breakfast plan for four people for 3 days, they give you 1 coupon for four people per day, that is surrendered upon use, so you have to all eat together. Coffee maker is crap, one of those single cup joints with the recycled plastic tray. If you actually drink coffee bring your own coffee maker. Rooms are much more narrow than they appear on the website and I could not get logged into guest wifi. Tried restarting computer & opening a browser window but never got a prompt to accept terms. Could be my firewall and security but the people were polite here, bed was comfy, clean.

Safe your money and DO NOT bring your family here. From the time we checked in which took almost an hour, we had problems. We were put into a smaller room instead of what we paid for. When they finally fixed it, it was too late for the kids to swim. We were not told about all the activities which came with our package. Had to find that out the next day. When a manager did contact us and tried to comp various things, they did not put what they were doing into their system. So again had to fight the same battle the next day with new managers. It was a joke from sun up to sun down with these people. They charge you out the butt for EVERYTHING including a refill on your drink. When we were checking out, house keeping came in and emptied out refrigerator of my wifes wine, out kids jucies and our kids P3s. Then when we came back and caughr them, they couldnt find OUR trash????. Very sketchy. We were going to hold our company's party here but will NOT even consider it now seeing how we were treated. This company deserves to go out of business. Me, my company, and my family WILL NEVER be back here at this joke of a place EVER AGAIN
Wish I could give -5 stars on this
Wish I could give -5 stars on this. Housekeeping stole $400 from my daughters wallet. Sign states that no employee should come in the room. Management admitted to her and me The key card reader AND cameras showed they did go in the room. But, they refuse to give her her $400 back.

We really like To visit the Colorado locationAs a whole family we have a very great experience although it may be quite expensive our kids have always had great times from small kids to think we’d be coming to Colorado location since they opened up in 2017 we visit to Texas grapevine location also
Great Wolf Lodge can be a great place…
Great Wolf Lodge can be a great place to vacation, but their service is horrendous. The hotel has NUMEROUS hidden fees that add up very quickly, that $150/night stay will quickly turn into $300/night just because of fees, like a waterpark use fee, etc. This is an absurd tactic and they blatantly lie about their pricing. Sucks.
