Restaurant quality food at home

I have been regularly ordering from Greatfood2u for more than a year and am very happy with the service. The kits are completely authentic to the restaurant they represent and taste just the same at home as they would if you were eating out. Delicious stuff!

Can't even put like 4 things in a box

Ordered Franco Manca pizza from this company, would have preferred to order directly but guess these are used as supplier, which turns out to be a big shame.
Received the package in good time unlike other reviewers, all excited opened box, rummaged through the ingredients (look good so tick), found the recipe card (looking good so far), reading up on what to do - looks pretty straightforward - oh, hang on a minute... Yeah of course. They went and did THAT didn't they. I've got a box full of instructions and ingredients but NO PIZZA BASES. I mean honestly, its not complicated is it, it's like 4 things in a box, so now it'll be takeaway pizza for the little ones birthday.

I believe you spoke to our customer service department who were able to confirm the 2 of the 4 items in your box were the bases, however they come in dough form which allows you the fun opportunity of making your own pizza base.

Same experience as last reviewer

Same experience as last reviewer. Ordered delivery for a birthday meal for 12 people assuming it would arrive on the day that they let me choose upon ordering, I received a confirmation and a notification from the delivery company that I would receive a 1 hour slot by 11am on the delivery date. I never received anything and when I checked the tracking it says it will be delivered the following day. I emailed the company at 3pm and still awaiting a response as there is no phone number to call or any other way of contacting them. Birthday meal ruined and now facing a bill of £225 for food that I don’t need. Will be requesting a full refund.

Thank you for your review. I am sincerely sorry for the experience you had. Unfortunately upon investigation DPD had experienced an issue at one of their depots which sadly impacted a number of our parcels. We do our best to ensure our kits arrive in time and in a good condition to our customers however issues with our delivery partner are outside of our control (much to our frustration) I can see that we had responded to you within 24 hours of raising your query, along with issuing your refund immediately.

No Food 2U - where's my delivery?

Ordered on 17th for delivery on 28th January.

Didn't get any communication about delivery times etc on the day. Can't contact them other than via email so just checked my account and it's still "processing" even though they've charged my card.

Not cool, was for a birthday dinner that won't now be a birthday dinner. Ordering a takeaway instead and will get my money back.

Enjoy restaurant quality food in your home

I was adamant to order in the beginning, as it was an extremely busy period & most of the restaurants/ patisserie shops no longer accept new orders/ delivery. It was for the New Year's eve food party & we were craving for TGIF's baby back ribs so i decided to go ahead and order. It didn't disappoint, as ordering was very easy and i was even surprised i was able to get a New Year's eve delivery date! They always update you & the food came in time in a very well packed box. Kudos to this company! I will be ordering again in the future!

Got better (updated)

Update #2: received my rescheduled order

Update: Got a reply, they rescheduled the order, and issued a 25% refund of the original order due to failed delivery. Happy to update the review in favour to more stars once I receive the rescheduled order.

I share the same experience with the review titled ‘Terrible time after time’.. I always order BLEECKER BURGER kits. First time my kit was broken (the plastic with the ‘secret’ seasoning’ broke and the seasoning was all over the box - I contacted them without reply), then a part was missing (bacon - they issued a modest 15% off my next order but nevertheless I didn’t order baconless cheeseburgers), and now the whole order disappeared...
Somebody should be able to help on delivery days. My order was due to be delivered yesterday. I am still waiting for their reply (FAQ says they will reply within 24 hours).

Terrible time after time..

Terrible time after time... I have ordered five times. Orders are invariably incorrect. My last order, I ordered TGI Fridays for delivery on a Wednesday. Wednesday came the order stated ‘processing’. There was no notification of delivery, so I had to send a chasing email. ‘Where’s the food’. To be told that there was a problem with the site and they would deliver on the following Friday. ‘What’!? What inconsiderate customer service. I thought the idea was you ordered food to be delivered on the date specified!!
I am expecting a refund and have unsubscribed from their emails. Never again.

I have been waiting for a refund for over two weeks now. The company have said they have refunded me but haven't. I have had to raise a visa debit dispute. I will update this post as and when this is resolved.

Beyond basic

Terrible experience - ordered BLEECKER BURGER on Tuesday as a present for someone, Greatfood2u site allowed me to pick the Friday (3 days later), then got an email at 2 pm the following day (Wednesday) stating the change in delivery date with the new date buried at the bottom of the email.
Received a template follow-up email with no option to cancel - just the assumption that I want the food the following week - what a wonderful way to interact with a customer and I'm sure BLEECKER BURGER would be equally as impressed.

Great Customer Service

This company has excellent customer service. I emailed with a query regarding a new order I was wishing to place. They responded via email extremely quickly and went above and beyond to help me and make my son’s birthday extra special. Thank you to Gaby and the rest of the team

We have had nothing but excellent…

We have had nothing but excellent service, great quality products and awesome variety since we started using Greatfood2u at their beginning, with only 1 hiccup (Not their fault!) it was dealt with professionalism and with absolutely no quibbles! I couldn't recommend Greatfood2u highly enough!

Excellent food, excellent service

We have bought a number of meal kits over the last 18 months and all have been excellent. We recently tried the full lobster kit from Burger and Lobster and we were very impressed. The instructions were clear and simple and the lobster was good fun to prepare! The lobster meat itself was fresh and delicious, definitely recommended!

Only company we’ve found to get TGI Fridays food delivered to your door

We have placed three orders so far (all for TGI Fridays meals) and have been really pleased. The quality and quantity have been beyond our expectations and we’ll definitely order again. We’ve even joked about ordering the BBQ box for xmas day if turkeys are going to be scarce this year. Thank you GoodFood2U for bringing Fridays meals and of course their special sauce to our door. Our nearest restaurant is c. 30 miles away. I would suggest ordering about 10-14 days in advance for a TGI Friday order delivery slot, if you are planning a BBQ party, so you don’t miss your date. Full cooking instructions are provided with the order (oven and BBQ) and the food cooks really quickly. Amazing 😄

Great Service!

I have ordered 5 separate meal boxes from Greatfood2u as both gifts and for myself. Communication is prompt and I have never had any issues with delivery or the way the food is packaged - every time arriving cold with suitable packaging and cool blocks. I would certainly recommend Greatfood2u.

Do not hesitate to order, great experience

Ordered twice from Greatfood2u and both times fabulous service, product is packed well, delivered on time and great quality items. Would use again and would hope more restaurants are added.
