Richard Maughan was introduced to me by Mark Price, who had previously effectively managed my utilities .

Richard was extremely forthcoming and quite pressurising in having me sign a contract with Totalgas and energies, to the point where he bombarded me with emails even whilst I was abroad, despite the fact I had asked him to leave me alone until I returned.

As I took his advice in good faith, after his name being recommended, I trusted him. However , what later came to light was that he created a contract which lined his own pockets and was nothing but detrimental to me as a customer.

As a result of this, I have had over a year of severe harassment from the company and , despite asking Richard how this had occurred and sending him emails to request his support, he completely ignored any of my communication and blocked me.

I urge you to avoid allowing this man to find you the best deal, he is not to be trusted and has his own interests at the forefront not yours.

Just before covid struck we managed to get some contracts signed up for our gas and electricity supply. Unfortunately one off the contracts never went live which we don’t know how and now we have the administrator chasing us for money for the contract not going live. The contracts that were signed were for 2 businesses and they had their names and bank details all mixed up by the sales person and now we are being threatened by legal action through no fault of our own. The sales person was notified during covid that they were mixed up and it’s took them over 3 years to come back to us. No wonder they are in administration but that doesn’t help our case

Is anyone being hounded for contracts that did not go live?
I’m being chased for over £10k with no evidence on how they arrived at that figure.

Probably the worst company we have had the misfortune to deal with. I would have liked to have given them no stars as they do not deserve even a 1 star. Did not do what we asked them to do on our behalf and then to rub salt in the wounds ripped us off with new contracts. DO NOT DEAL WITH COMPANY AS THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED
