Awful customer service. Received a boxed bike but the valve on the inner tube was leaking. I replaced the inner tube and sent them an email about it which they ignored. Then phoned them up and asked for reasonable compensation (inner tube was £7 + inconvenience) = £20. They refused point blank and asked me to send the assembled bike back! I asked him if he was being serious and he hung up the phone! This was the manager apparently. Terrible customer service. I would avoid at all costs.

Being on mainland UK, I did think a little about purchasing a cycle from a Belfast based cycle shop, though rest assured the location was totally transparent to me. Bike was assemble great, only the peddles to fit, very well packed, arrived very quick with free delivery, as almost £200 compared to London (local shop) price.

I bought an Orbea Orca from them and they were very knowledgeable and plesent and not pushy in the least. Seems like a very honest seller, have an in-house mechanic which is very important. They sell high end bikes at reasonable prices and are local, what more do you want.

I bought a bike online from Goodbikegear.com using my employer's Ride to Work scheme. They could not have been more helpful and friendly in taking me through the steps to reserve my bike and pay for it using my emplyer's scheme. At to make it even better, I was able to buy a sale bike on the scheme, something not all retailers do.

Good bike for a good price, but unfortunately very poorly assembled. Gear wires were pulled through wrong and would have snapped within a few months had I not taken it to the bike shop to get it looked at.

I purchased a Felt AR3 from you guys & almost £500 cheaper than any other site selling them, very impressive set up you have, easy service with no hassle, ordered my bike late on a Friday evening & buy the following Tuesday it was in my possession waiting to be ridden. Keep up the good work guys.

The internet is great for researching options and prices but a non-expert older guy like me approaches buying a modern bike with some trepidation about the supplier and whether it's the right one for my needs. Fortunately Goodbikegear hadn't just got the best price for the Marin hybrid (San Rafael DS 2) in the size I wanted, but they have friendly approachable guys who were happy to field my daft questions about the features I didn't fully understand without making me feel as if I didn't deserve to be a member of the club. Matty sent me photos of the bike once assembled with my add-ons and happily answered my minor queries after it arrived - within 48 hours of ordering! Great reassurance to be able to chat with no pressure. Love the bike and fantastic service - this company deserve to do well. Thanks guys.

I bought a MEKK Primo from GoodBikeGear and can only reciprocate all the other glowing reviews as to how this companies customer services department handled their queries. My bike had a throbbing under braking on the carbon rim which was promptly arranged to be sent back to MEKK and through no fault of GoodBikeGear i had to wait for MEKK to issue me a replacement under warranty. I had nothing but excellent customer feedback from the guys and they did exactly what you would expect of them when trying to resolve my issue swiftly for me via MEKK. With this site you get extremely competitive prices and an aftersales service and support any company should be very proud of. WELL DONE GUYS!

Great price (on last year's model). Great communication. Very quick (free) delivery. Bike arrived in pristine condition via DPD. Haven't been for a long ride on it yet, but seems to be set up perfectly.

Order and delivery very good. Unfortunately during the first ride with my new bike ( about 10km in) the hanger bracket snapped. This got the rear derraillerur entangled with the wheel which locked and made me come off as I didnt have time to react and release my feet off the cleats. As a consequence of this, the rear derrailleur and the chain bent and the carbon frame got scratched and slightly dented in a couple of locations. I contacted customer service and they blamed it on my lack of experience and said this is not covered by the guarantee. I read all the documents included in the bike box and couldn't find any 'non-covered' parts. Emailed back to explain and no answer after 48h so I have now booked an appointment in my local bike garage. After having spent (in my view) a considerable amount of money in a new bike, the service provided has been very disappointing. I certainly won't be using this website again.

Just been out on my lovely new Marin DS3. Ordered on a Monday and arrived in lovely condition on the Wednesday. Helpful service and advice. I had been trying to arrange a replacement for a stolen bike through insurance & was not getting the service I wanted. I took the cash alternative and went to Goodbikegear - immediately all the hassle evaporated and I had the bike I wanted at an excellent price. Thanks!

Really Pleased with the service I received from Good Bike Gear...I bought some Fast Forward wheels in 2015 and had issues with them this year...Got in touch with Good bike gear and sent the wheel back for inspection etc...Wheel was sent back to FF and I got a replacement on warranty which was a Brucey Bonus...Very Helpful Customer Service and would recommend...Many Thanks

Bought Marin Fairfax SC2 2016 at an excellent price. Just cannot fault the quality of the bike - it is superb and reduced from £450 to £259 what's not to like! There was one minor issue that the manufacturer had not included the smaller box of pedals in the larger box but GoodBikeGear sorted it out immediately and arrived more of less the next day. Thanks!
