Highly recommend!
Go Hen and in particular, Luke have been brilliant. Luke found us a perfect apartment and a list of activities that covered all our needs. We were very fussy as we have a variety of different ages coming on the hen (and a couple of pregnant girls too!). He was quick to reply every time I messaged or called. Got everything set up and arranged and then we had not one, not two but three drop outs. In the same day, he managed to keep all plans the same, with no extra cost. Panic and stress free. Highly recommend!

GoHen’s Third Party is Misleading
What baffles me is the third-party deposit system. If you’ve paid a protection fee to protect your deposit should you need to cancel an event, why is this not honoured?
GoHen was not a good experience for our group. Although it was by no fault, that one of the activity suppliers closed in Manchester, the alternatives offered were rather disappointing. To say we were offered karaoke or dance classes for the equivalent of the rollerblading and cocktailing was just poor - and did not fit value for money for what we were initially quoted.
It was only after pushing for other alternatives, we were then half-heartedly sold the promise that we could potentially have Bingo Lingo.
Whilst the company did manage to secure this activity and reduced the cost to £188 from our initial £204 quoted price, I’m finding the deposit policy just a little baffling.
I have paid for a protection fee - and was told that this is not looked after by Groupia but instead a third party who have their own T&Cs. I have been redirected to a third party (Refundable) which has no contact details nor does the website itself look legitimate, and does not provide me the option to refund my deposit. This is the part where I feel misled by Groupia as if I’ve paid to have my deposit protected - and this is unable to be fulfilled - why would I pay for a protection fee in the first place? I was sold on the premises that their service is fully transparent and your money is protected. I’d understand if I’d not paid for a deposit protection fee or cancelled after the event deadline but this event was cancelled a month before the payment deadline.
I’m going to be taking this complaint forward as I just don’t think this is right. I don’t like that it feels I have been almost pushed aside.

We understand it’s frustrating when a supplier closes unexpectedly and that it can significantly impact plans. While we always strive to provide alternatives that match the value and enjoyment of the original activities, we recognise that preferences and expectations vary from group to group.
Regarding Bingo Lingo, this venue was in the process of opening a Manchester location, so the delay was simply due to awaiting confirmation of their opening dates. Once this was confirmed, we were happy to include Bingo Lingo in your package complimentary as a gesture to address your disappointment and we reduced your package price accordingly.
We also explored other options for you, including offering to switch destinations to one that had a roller disco available. However, we understand you chose to proceed with cancellation instead.
In terms of the payment protection policy, we’re sorry for any confusion or frustration this caused. The protection is managed by a third-party provider, The Protect Group, and is designed to cover clients in the event they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. We do our best to make this process clear at the time of purchase by sharing the company name, an overview of the coverage, and a link to their terms and conditions for full details. For your convenience, the terms can be accessed here: https://www.refundable.me/groupia/
The Protect Group operates an online portal where claims can be submitted using your reference number and a reason for cancellation. Claims are typically reviewed within 24 hours. Your Event Manager has already emailed you with detailed instructions for the claims process. If you encounter any difficulties or need further guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 01225 474 200, and we’ll gladly assist you.
Once again, we’re very sorry for your disappointment and the challenges you experienced. We truly appreciate your understanding that supplier closures are beyond our control, and we hope we have addressed any remaining concerns to your satisfaction. Groupia was a great way to book the hen…
Groupia was a great way to book the hen party, easy enough for us to all look after our own payments without the headache of chasing everyone, plenty of emails and texts advising of dates for payments and a full itinerary set for the hen weekend. Natalie was so nice and very helpful too.

Their team was wonderful to work with, and their ideas were fresh and exciting. They helped us select a beautiful venue that fit our budget, and the decor they provided was absolutely stunning. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the food to the entertainment. On the day of the event, their team was on-site to handle everything, which made the experience so much more enjoyable for us. We received so many compliments from our guests! We can’t wait to work with them again next year!

Go Hen Party
Everything about the process was easy, any questions I had Ellie was available to answer which also made the stress of planning the hen do a lot less.
The bottomless brunch and apartments were great, all in all would book again with Go Hen as it was simple and we all had a brilliant time.

We booked the hen do through Gohen and cannot recommend them enough. Throughout the booking process Stephanie was on hand to answer my many questions and quickly solved any queries we had. I would recommend for a group of any size, however we were a larger group of 23 and this took away a lot of the stress of organising, booking and dealing with peoples money as everything is done through the portal. Would highly recommend! We did life drawing, save the groom and drag cabaret and did not stop laughing all day. We had the best time! Thanks to Stephanie and all of our suppliers

Fabulous weekend
Natalie (& Tom at the start) was fabulous. Organising a hen with 22 guests, all arriving at different days/times and having different needs was such a feat. Natalie was great at being my sounding board, problem-solving, making changes at a moment's notice and keeping me updated. The bride had the most amazing weekend, we were all thrilled!
