I love all the information.
the only complaint I have is how the pages roll out on with any information ( DVDs, videos, patterns, etc.) If you are looking for something to watch or purchase you must start over each time until you decide. Thus us not helpful.

The classes I watch are very useful and informative. I feel that the bulk of classes are not of interest to me

Craftsy has something for everyone. I'm a knitter and crocheter, so I'm a little biased there, but I do see that there are many other skills covered in their newsletters and videos - speaking of which, the latter are very professionally done and very informative.

In 2021, I purchased a membership for $3.15. The annual membership was advertised as 79.99. I called to cancel. I found out that they have charged me $400plus the last four years. I have never received an email, and I cannot find any in spam. The managers, anlthough calm, are uncooperative and unhelpful. I paid over $400 for nothing. I have never used the site during those four years. They know this is how they make money. I will be calling my legislators about this scam practice of auto renewals.

In particular, I have found the painting and woodworking classes of greatest value. Both have helped me to progress in my practice. Being shown a new technique, with accompanying explanations and caveats, speeds up the learning process - especially if you go and try it out for yourself straight away. The ability to rewind the video by several seconds - at the touch of an icon - is so useful if you missed something, or to check for understanding.

Beware! I was really happy with Craftsy until today when I realized that they charge money in their "shop" for classes that are already accessible free with a membership. I thought I was paying $55 for a unique bundle of classes and then find out after paying for it, the "bundle" they created is not unique but a group of classes already available with the membership. They refuse to refund because its a "digital" purchase, or give a credit for a different purchase. VERY deceptive business practice!!

I signed up in 2023 when they had a very cheap subscription fee (about $3), but then was charged $190.22 for a renewal in 2024 that I neither requested nor approved of. I have searched through my past emails and can not find a renewal notification.
I have send numerous emails to Craftsy requesting a refund, and they can clearly see that I have never even accessed the membership. They have refused to refund my money saying that “they cannot do so”
As I read other reviews I can see that I’m not the only one who has been ripped off. I am out almost $200 CAD and feel very frustrated. Stay away from this membership site!!

Absolute rip off merchants. Signed up for a 1 year membership offer at a minimal price (around 5 dollars). It was due to end on 10th May 2025. The option to not auto renew was available until that date. A full ten days prior to the end of the annual subscription they charged my card 151 dollars for another year - presumably to circumvent any cancellation at the end of the initial year. I have reported this as a fraudulent transaction - they did not have my permission to charge my card any time prior to the end of the initial subscription period. There were no emails indicating the charge was pending (despite receiving almost constant marketing mails from them) and zero email confirmation that my subscription was renewing. Just a charge of 150 dollars to my card. Outrageous. Run away fast.

**Update: My review despite response hasn't changed - no email was sent and I have received multiple emails from Craftsy to my inbox. Sign up and account both stated auto-renew could be turned off until 10th May. Happy to provide screenshots of this. No other reputable subscription service, charges for a new year while an existing year is ongoing. Even if they had acted appropriately, the content is definitely not worth a jump from 5 dollars to 150 per year. My review will remain - typical canned response from a company that are using borderline unethical methods to charge people.

I love the classes and the patterns

Blijkbaar houden jullie al een ruime tijd geld van onze rekening zonder dat wij ooit maar iets van abonnement hebben genomen, zaterdag ook 136€ en dat is blijkbaar niet de eerste keer ! Wij hebben klacht ingediend en er wordt een onderzoek ingesteld want dit is gewone pure diefstal ! Blijkbaar als ik het lees zijn wij niet de enige ?

Craftsy is such a great site. I'm new to knitting and I find loads of inspiration on this site. It has every craft imaginable. I find myself going back to the site time and time again. Well worth the small subscription fee.

I’m really frustrated and upset. I had money stolen from me, and I sent an email about the unauthorized transactions but haven’t heard anything back. The phone numbers I found for the company aren’t working either. I've never shared my bank information with them or even had a PayPal account, so I have no idea how they managed to take money from my account. Now I’m in a tough spot, struggling to have enough for food for my daughter and me for the next two weeks, and I can't even afford gas to get to work. It's incredibly disheartening to deal with this scam of a company.

Lots of great information here all for a low yearly fee.

I've been a Craftsy member for some years now. I have bought many classes and watched some of the free ones. I have found the videos to consistently be of a high standard with clear views of what the tutor is doing, clear instructions and downloadable resources. You are also able to ask questions and see answers to other students' questions. There is a huge variety of interesting classes to learn from.

I love Craftsy and the variety of classes that they offer. The instructors are great and understandable. They help your creativity to soar as you learn.

I've purchased many classes on Craftsy and I have learned quite a bit from them. I also like getting the reference materials as well. However there are a couple of things that irritate me about Craftsy to no end. For some strange reason Craftsy added 5 or 6 videos to my content list. These videos are useless to me and I in no way, shape or form would ever watch at them. I contacted Craftsy to ask that these videos be removed, and the answer given me did not make any sense. Something about it being a technical issue, or policy issue. But every time I log in to view my paid content, I have to first scroll down through that list of Unwanted videos. ughhhh. The other issue I have is trying to contact the Author of the project when you have a question. The chat is either not monitored or the Author can't be bothered answering questions. If these items were corrected, I would give Craftsy 5 stars.

I love seeing all the classes on Craftsy. There isn't enough time to view them all. I appreciate the personal emails about classes I may enjoy. I phoned for help and a live American speaking person answered my questions. My guests enjoy the classes too. Keep up the good work.

I have been with Craftsy since the beginning. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Craftsy. It has come a long way. With so many videos and so many subjects there is never a time I am bored. I especially like the live classes although lately I have not been able to attend them… but you can watch the class by video if you miss it. I love the free patterns you can download. I have learned so much from Craftsy and look forward to learning more from Craftsy. There is something for Everyone and Craftsy is always adding new classes to so many different crafts and the teachers are all wonderful. Thank you Craftsy!
