I have to say the shatta is phenomenal on a kaasbroodje… I feel like it has revolutionised Dutch cuisine a bit, and made lunch a bit more interesting. Everything from the hot sauce to the jam is so tasty. The delivery was quick and everything arrived perfectly. Will 100% purchase again

I've been meaning to order for a couple of years since tasting a sample at an event where they had a table and finally got around to placing an order two weeks ago. I'm really impressed with the products.

I ordered Bird's Eye Shatta, Shatta Hot Sauce, and Shatta jam. My favourite was the Bird's Eye; it makes any sandwich taste like a hot wrap from a falafel shop in Palestine. The hot sauce has been great for my healthy rice and chicken bowls and the jam works well with eggs for breakfast.

The prices are reasonable - definitely place an order to try them out!

I ordered the jabanero shatta, the shatta jam, and the hot sauce as extra bday gifts for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loved them. I ended up eating quite a lot of them myself too, which probably says enough about how good they are. Really impressed with the quality, and it’s great to support a small Palestinian company doing something this well. We've both said we'll order again as soon as they run out. We haven't actually found a meal they don't work with yet!

Just wanted to add - the packaging/design on the jars is so beautiful too.

One of the most delicious chilli products around. Also, the people behind the scene are brilliant. I've shared a few thoughts with them and they were so good at communicating with me about them. They clearly care and are passionate about their products, which shows.

Fil is a start up. It has launched its first range of products. I was introduced to their shatta by a friend. I was impressed by the short list of only natural ingredients and use of extra virgin olive oil so I ordered all 5 of their products. (ever tried to buy pesto that has extra virgin olive oil in it?? rare as hen's teeth!). So I'm cool with the price also-- which is excellent value for money compared to similar products.

I just made my second order. I love the hot sauce, jam, and red shatta. I had to reorder the green (jalpeño), it hasn't areivwd yet. The habanero is the hottest of the three and I haven't mustered the courage to try it because the red shatta pleasantly burns my face off as it is. I will order again once the second order is done.

One of the co-founders was very present when responding to a couple of my concerns-- I forgot to add an item to my order, he inserted it immediately, when their orders were delayed, they sent an email notifying customers. When there were some packaging hiccoughs, the co-founder responded immediately to my email, walked me through their logistics so I understood what had happened and refunded the price of the two items which arrived with their jar seals raised.

Fil is a fantastic product! Shatta as it should be. The Shatta jam is amazing. I am pairing it with manchego cheese. It is great. Enjoy!
