As an online insurance company our main method of contact is via our Online Chat Service, this facility is accessed via our website and allows you to instant message with an advisor with any queries you may have. While we do not accept incoming calls, we do currently have a call back request system in place for our Call Centre team to contact you, these call back requests are returned within 24-48 hours and can be requested through our online chat facility. All call backs are processed in date and time order to be fair to all customers, at busy periods the call wait time may vary.

The cost factor against the service...
The cost factor against the service.... I've insured my car for years now with get set go and no other insurance company can compete... although they are mainly online if your handy with your phone there are no issues.... Also very competitive on price for travel insurance..... Very competitive for the over 70's market on travel insurance as i purchased some for my mother in law....

Beware of hidden charges.
I handed my car in to my garage to be serviced, as with previous times my garage gave me a spare car to help me get around. With previous insures (AXA, Aviva, AIG Etc.), temporary change was never an issue, process was simple, either a phone call to an agent or a self-service portal online, took no more than 5 mins and could do it at the garage, and at no extra cost.
Unfortunately with get set go, not all easy, process took just under 50 mins, first off the self-service portal wasn’t working, tried looking for a number to call an agent, no number, online chat only. Was advised to adjust our phone settings (allow pop ups) to get the self-service working, terms of temporary change stated we got 2 changes within our policy before we would be charged.
The self-service portal only got us so far in the process before it became unresponsive. Back to the on to live chat, asked us to try and change temporary change time by 30mins no luck after a couple of mins of back and forth, we were advised that an agent would ring us.
15 mins later no call, back on to live chat assured it would not be much longer, 5 mins later a call came in, went through the details of the temporary change, no issue, it can be done, just a charge of €50, we have done this multiple times with other insures never once was there a charge. Nowhere was it ever spelt out there would be a charge. After a few minutes of arguing about the charge I had no choice but to pay it as I had to get to work.
Any savings made in initial policy change over have been lost to time it took to get sort and extra charges that didn’t exist until they did.

Premium price hikes
What looks like a great 'offer' when you sign up quickly changes. Paying €127 for every 1000 kms over 5000 kms adds up fast. Then when your renewal comes around be ready to pay more than you did the first time. Zero claims, great driving scores etc makes no difference. They will still hike up the premium. When I decided to go elsewhere I asked when they could take the Telematics (tracker) off the car. I was told to "remove it myself" It has been over a month and no one has come out to remove the device. My daughter got a much better deal from another insurance company that just looks after women.
