I was told that my mother would see a…

I was told that my mother would see a therapist at 1:00pm today. Around 2pm I noticed that no one arrived so I called in to see what was happening and I was told that the therapist didn’t want to work in my area of town. I took off from work to be with my mother who was waiting for treatment. The therapist send a message the same time of the appointment completely unacceptable. This is an unprofessional company I would not be using them in the future. The sad part is that they took all our information and we got no service. Plus if I canceled last minute I would be charged a $90.00 fee. Can I charge them one?

I really appreciate the in-home therapy…

I really appreciate the in-home therapy that Luna offers, and Cody is wonderful! He is prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, listens well, and devises exercises that work for me and that help me get my shoulder movement back. We have done several sessions & I have never had such a good PT before, and would recommend Luna and Cody wholeheartedly.

My name is Annie Arthur. Amy Cruz came into my life (thanks to the Core Institute/as they did all my surgeries)as I'd been suffering from my left hip for a long time. I have a lot of scar tissue due to a full lumbar fusion (2006), both hips having been replaced (2008 & 2009). With her great experience, patience and humor Amy brought me day by day Nov. 1-Nov.15 (9 visits) to a stronger, diminished pain self!

Scheduling first appt frustrating

I’m waiting for my first appointment but the process of scheduling was frustrating. The intake person schedules a therapist in your area but can’t tell you if that therapist is qualified to meet your specific needs. I was also frustrated that two of the physical therapists that come up on their site who got my attention based on their profiles, were not in their system when I called to make appt and she didn’t know why. If therapists are no longer available they should be deleted off the Luna site (Dr Paul Nguyen and Dr Elaine Huddon in Dallas area.) That’s false advertising. Waiting for call back on if the therapist who is scheduled, who I didn’t see on the Luna site, is appropriate for my condition, as I really wanted Dr Nguyen but I was told he wasn’t an option because she couldn’t locate him in the system. They can’t even tell you who your therapist will be until they get your credit card information which is also sketchy. Because some of the reviews on Trustpilot are positive, I’ll see what happens and follow up to provide more details on my experience. The person who took my call seemed very incompetent…

However, based on your description, we’d be happy to clarify your concerns here. Luna is in several cities in the US. The therapists on our website are therapists that provide care, however, they may not necessarily be in your city. That is likely why our Concierge team told you that Paul Nguyen and Elaine Hudson weren’t therapists available to you in Dallas, which is where it sounds like you are located. Paul and Elaine don’t practice in Dallas. Luna’s therapists have an average of 10 years practicing care in all aspects of physical therapy. They are all highly trained professionals who deliver exceptional care. As a result, Luna typically assigns a therapist to a patient. This helps facilitate care sooner than waiting for a specific therapist’s schedule to open up. However, if you have a therapist that you know in Dallas who has told you that they can treat you through Luna, we can definitely find that specific therapist and match you with them. In your post, you mention that you had to provide your credit card information. We collect your insurance information to verify your benefits and your credit card is used for co-payments. This is collected in the same call that we schedule your appointment. If there is not a therapist available, then our Concierge team will ask you if you’d like to be placed on our waiting list. If you agree, we still collect your insurance and credit card information. This is because once we ask therapists in your area if they would like to accept a new patient, an appointment will be confirmed within your preferred times and days. This happens quite quickly, in some cases, within a few minutes to a few hours. You will receive an email or text (based on your preferences) notifying you of your upcoming appointment. We are confident that you will be delighted with your appointment. Luna’s therapists are extremely qualified practitioners who are determined to help their patients achieve their goals. Evan came to the house to help my…

Evan came to the house to help my mother-in-law. She is 93, can't hear and refuses to get hearing aids. Evan was really patient with Jackie. He was wonderful with her but she just refused to do the exercises. But, Evan should definitely be rewarded for being such a great sport.

Luna compared to other companies gets a gold star!

I have had physical therapy 3 x's before Luna. The professionalism is fantastic. The therapist concentrates on you and just doesn't sit you in a corner and let you do the exercises alone, which has happened to me before. I would highly recommend Luna to get the job done.

The PT I had was excellent

The PT I had was excellent, unfortunately she found another job. LUNA failed to took action upon her two week notice to take action to take to get another physical therapist so that I would get the ongoing treatment I need. I learned of this we they sent me a notice stating my appt was canceled. I've have now called and they're just now started looking for someone to treat me when they knew 2 weeks ago. Does Luna really care about their Patients??

Horrible, dishonest customer service

I only use Luna because the physical therapist I have used in the past now works for them. Their customer service and follow through is the worst! Messages do not get returned, it takes them over a week to call your insurance provider to get authorization for your first visit, they lie to you that they have contacted your insurance provider, and then when asked to have a manager call you back to discuss, crickets. If you dont have to use them, DON'T. Hilarious, Luna responded, that my review isn't specific enough? I think that feedback just substantiates my review. Perhaps they could respond being more specific themselves, as to what isn't specifically clear to them. Now in Luna's response, they sadly do what so many politicians do, create a new version of the truth, rather than admit their own failures. I have called my insurer more than once, they have confirmed my benefits, the referral from the doctor was specific to my existing benefits, insurer approved getting first evaluation by Luna. After seeing my negative review, they canceled my appointment. This all could have been avoided, if they had just apologized for their mistakes. But big corporations just dont do that anymore.

horrible client and front desk services. takes 1/2 an hour to take an appointment. rude, dull, and timepass staff. no respect for patient time. actually, they donot provide real services they just waste your time, money

When a patient calls in to schedule their first appointment, there is quite a bit of information that needs to be collected such as their name, address, contact information, their physician's name, any referral information if applicable, etc. Additionally, we like to understand our patients' therapy needs and requirements so that we can treat them as expected. Finally, Luna verifies insurance benefits and coverage at that time so our patients have full visibility into their coverage and benefits. All of this information is collected as quickly and efficiently as possible, in less than 10 minutes. Again, we apologize if this was inconvenient for you. So scary so bad

Had a major surgery on Monday. Luna presented themselves as the actuall physical therapist I was supposed to have scheduled. They still have not had anyone out here to help me. I'm majorly concerned I won't get the therapy I need because I trusted in them. They were supposed to be here days ago and now they are using excuses after getting all my insurance and credit card information to not be here. If I would of known all they are is a a scheduling service I would of had a chance to atleast call some one else befits it for to this point of neglect. Please beware have time to get a get a back up if you insist on using there services. They just don't care.

Locations such as yours that are farther out sometimes require a little extra time in scheduling a therapist. Per your request two days ago, you were added to our waitlist. Waited to make appointment for more…

Waited to make appointment for more than 10 days, they been saying that they never got a referral from doctor, and doctors office sent them twice
Finally we made appointment But received phone call from them saying that physical therapist has meet his appointments for the week , and they would like to find us a different PT But we have to wait another week
I don’t think how they treat their patients
If person is in pain , they would like to have therapy,and do not wait for two weeks

I would recommend Luna Services In-home Therapy!!

I would recommend Luna Services for in-home hip replacement therapy! Dr. Emily McFarland was well trained in all of the exercises I needed to rehab my hip at home. She helped me become stronger and I was able to get up and get around. She was also extremely personable! She listened to all my questions, concerns, and gave very constructive feedback to the questions I had. There are so many therapists that could have come, but we are SO glad that we had Emily. I've been doing PT for 4 weeks and…

I've been doing PT for 4 weeks and during that time my right shoulder/bicep have gone from almost complete inability to move without pain to getting back to normal. Love the app that keeps track of the daily exercise program which is very beneficial towards getting back to normal. Couldn't be a nicer experience.

Convenient, but needs some work.

I really liked having the therapist come to my home instead of travelling to them. Unfortunately the therapist assigned wasn't well versed in what I needed so ultimately it didn't help much. Be aware that their billing practices are a bit strange. I wasn't billed per session as we went, i received a massive single bill at the end which caught me off guard. They did automatically bill my card on file or offer to bill it, instead send me regular paper bills with no online means to remit my payment. They have some work to do with setting billing expectations and making it easy to collect payments.

Luna therapists have an average of 10 years experience and are extremely skilled. As for billing, it can get complicated because Luna sends your bills to your insurance company first. Depending on your insurance company, that process can take time, delaying the bill that comes to you. As soon as they are adjusted by insurance, Luna sends the adjusted bills to patients. However, we are currently making improvements to our billing process to make it more streamlined for patients. We wish you all the best in your recovery.
