I am writing this review to warn other international students about the German Institute Stuttgart.
Situation: I paid for a course to get a visa. However, I received direct admission to a university (KIT) and got a proper Student Visa (§16b). Since I moved to Karlsruhe for my studies, attending a course in Stuttgart is impossible.
The Problem: I requested a refund or even a fair compromise (like keeping a 10% fee). They refused everything. Their response was literally: "Our courses are hybrid, you can join online from Karlsruhe."
Expecting a student to attend an intensive online language course while doing a full-time Master's degree just to justify keeping their money is absurd. They rely strictly on their T&Cs to trap students. If your plans change, do not expect any understanding or refund from them.
