Absolute garbage brand, stay far away unless you love throwing your money straight into the trash. Their slick marketing and flashy Instagram ads love to pretend they are an authentic independent streetwear collective. They keep spamming you with those annoying pop-ups claiming that if you don't answer their chat bot within one single hour, they will hook you up with free stuff—yeah, free stuff my ass, nothing ever happens. And to top it all off, they constantly brag about hundreds of glowing five-star reviews plastered all over their site that literally do not even exist anywhere else on the internet.
The second you actually look closer at what Gene Streetwear is selling, the absolute clown show is completely exposed. You look at the garments and immediately realize there isn’t a single shred of custom branding, a logo, or even a company name anywhere on the clothing. Not on the neck tag, not on the wash label, absolutely nothing.
Take two seconds to do a quick reverse image search, and you will find their "exclusive custom hoodies" sitting on Temu and AliExpress wholesale for a couple of bucks. They are literally just drop-shipping mass-produced, ultra-cheap fast-fashion garbage straight to people's doors with a massive markup, slapping a pretentious label on a cheap plastic mailer, and calling it underground culture.
It is genuinely pathetic, and it makes my blood boil seeing what these grifters are doing to the community. You are actively ruining and polluting the actual streetwear scene, scamming people who actually care about independent design, craftsmanship, and quality, and padding your pockets by reselling garbage. You are not a brand, you have zero creativity, and you have zero respect for the culture. It makes me sick to my stomach that lazy scammers think they can just exploit the scene like this. Absolute zero out of ten, get out of the industry!
