one bad egg
previous experience was great ,but today was very disappointing .I wasted $320 and the problem was not solved .I lost email and the operator went about everything the wrong way ,blaming everybody but himself .I had to ask him to leave in the end and i am asking another company to fix the problem .\
Help desk is good with this company and most of the operators i had in the past but today was a disaster .

Got Geek mobile out to fix a wifi connection problem. Technician could not fix the problem within the laptop so sold me a $120.00 doogle which made it possible to connect to wifi plus the $99.00 call out fee. 2 months later the expensive doogle stopped working. Rang Geek mobile and like previous reviews got the brush off. I spoke to a Daniel who told me that technician no longer worked for the company. When I tried to explain I did not contract the technician I contracted Geek mobile I was told to send an email to the company. I asked how long it would take to fix the problem as I use my laptop to run my business Daniels reply was he didn't know because for all he knew that particular technician could be overseas. Again I repeated that I didn't contract the technician but it fell on deaf ears. I asked to speak to a manager but Daniel refused to pass me on. Just kept repeating send an email and gave me no idea how long it would take for me to get a response. What a joke.
Frustrating to deal with, your issue will be resolved...sort of
In the initial phone conversation, the person diagnosed the problem as best they could while making assurances that my hard drive issue could be resolved. Turns out it could be fixed (for the price of a cheap new computer) but the memory couldn't be retrieved despite the previous claim. It took just under 48 hours to get my laptop back, which I need for my work. Customer service staff made life difficult.
GST is not included in the price, they charge by 45 minutes with 15 minutes addition to reach the per hour charge but cap the price of servicing for 2 hours. It is rather confusing and makes calculating the cost of the service more difficult than it needs to be. I would have though GST included in pricing or at least clearly stated was a requirement and not hidden in the terms and conditions fine print.
Only positive was Jono the technician who tried to go above and beyond but held back by their bad GeekMobile business model and service staff.
Highly recommended repairer in Perth - Ram
Ram was amazing and extremely professional. He knows his stuff and fixed my computer issues within the 45 minute timeframe. He went out of his way to give me advice on future prevention measures. I would highly recommend Ram as an honourable and professional expert in his field.
Fabulous On Time Service - Problem solvered : )
First time I had an issue they had someone out for me that day who was very patient and sorted out the internet issue. I called again recently was offered a 10% discount as a returning customer and Ram the consultant was fabulous, he went out of his way to help me as well as being friendly and courteous. Definitely ask for Ram is you are in Perth : )
Taken for a ride
Engaged Geek Mobile to fix a charging problem and ended up apparently having to replace the motherboard. The laptop was working fine before losing it's charge, the dc jack had to be replaced - that was all that was wrong with it. On it's return we were told the motherboard was the problem and a further $400 would be needed to get it fixed. Now we have a laptop that is totally unusable and the dc jack still not replaced. Totally unhelpful, never again will I trust Geek Mobile. Complaining to admin did not help although they said they would rebate 10% of the initial cost because the rep turned up late. They didn't fix the problem but they did cause more problems that we are still out of pocket for. Took a week to do nothing, and then charge us for it!
Scammed.
The technician from Geekmobile set me up with a dodgy computer which he sold to me as new and the program he set (Windows 7) was not authentic. I rang Geekmobile as the computer beeped and would not start.The technician they sent did a terrible job and therefore the following day I still had the beeping problem. I contacted him and he suggested I get another technician. Admin at Geekmobile were dismissive. I now have a faulty computer and the unauthentic Windows program has expired.This is a disgraceful company and I urge you not to use them. Find a reputable computer technician instead.

FALSE ADVERTISING
The website indicates no fees - no minimum fee for the first hour, no call out fee, yet when I rang, I was told a $99 for the first 45 min.

I do NOT recommend using them at all! I was charged a lot for very little done.

I called them to come and fix a corrupt external HDD which had extremely important files on it (I had just formatted my computer so this backup was the only copy I currently had). I told him I didn't want to partition the HDD until all the data was recovered. Before I could stop him he had already partitioned the hard drive and therefore had deleted all of my files, of which I could previously view using a data recovery program. I am a computer novice but I understood what he needed to do better than he did himself. Absolutely unacceptable! Then he charged me over $100 for leaving me in a worse state than when he came.

He then said he could not repair and told me to call Apple. THANKS FOR CHARGING ME MONEY FOR THE GREAT ADVICE I MUST OF MISTAKEN YOU KNEW HOW TO REPAIR COMPUTERS.
Would NEVER recommend
I called Geek Mobile and was told it would cost $250 to rep lair my laptop. I booked the job in and on the day of the serve had a call from the guy coming saying that the quote I was given was just a ballpark. I then asked for a firm quote before I agreed to have them come. This took a week to get and a further 2 emails saying I was waiting on a quote.
I finally got a firm quote of $690 from them which is $100 more than Apple itself. I would never recommend this company - and will never deal with them.

Terrible service
My mac broke and I called before Christmas - I went through to a call centre and the girl spoke so quickly and didn't listen to anything I said. She said there were no technicians available and to call again after Christmas and quickly said thanks for calling goodbye and hung up.
I called again in the new year and got a man who huffed and puffed on the end of the phone like I was taking up his time; then he said there were no mac technitions. As I said can you suggest... and that's as far as I got, he just overspoke me saying that I need a mac technition and then I got the thanks for calling goodbye hang up
These people are so rude, I would never recommend them for anyone - the service is terrible. No assistance, no help, poor attitude.
Superfast iPhone Screen Fix!
I mailed my iPhone to Geek Mobile with a completely smashed screen. A couple of days later and it was back with me as good as new!

Sorted out my pc
Just couldn't get my new wireless modem to work. After many hours of trying I called Dave and within about half an hour he had everything working, and also improved security and cleaned up all the data. Really excellent, and very friendly service.
Complete rebuild
I called this guy because I was rebuilding my PC but didn't want to put it together myself. I got new ram, motherboard, cpu and everything, and he fitted them all and brought it back the next day - works a charm. I'd probably have frazzled it if I did it myself, so it was worth £45 just for peace of mind.
Fast, friendly, fantastic!
Two hours after I had reported my net book which was totally dead it had been picked up. I had a message that night to let me know what the problem was and what he could do. Two days later I had it back at home not good as new... Better! Absolutely outstanding service. Thank you so much geek on wheels. You have saved us lots of money and even more stress!
