I recently purchased a number of items through this business. One item I ordered 3 weeks ago still hasn't arrived. Gearshop staff have not contacted me to explain the problem they are obviously having. 3 times I have contacted gearshop to be told "it will take a couple of days to arrive"

I paid for the item 3 weeks ago. If a company is unable to fill an order for an item that their website says is "in stock" within 3 weeks that they have already been paid for they shouldn't be in business.

Very poor communication. A shame as I like to support local businesses, but not one's who can't communicate with their customers in a timely manner.

Terrible customer service. Bought an item which arrived in a completely different colour. Emailed gearshop and was told sorry they didn't realise but too bad. Then when the product failed to hold up to normal conditions, emailed again and was told it was never intended for those conditions. Not mentioned anywhere on their website or advertised in that way. Just really poor customer service.

Avoid this mob if you can.

Great communication when there was a slight delay in sourcing the item and when they knew I was leaving the country to head home they shipped ASAP and it arrived in time for me to bring home with me.

Great product, shipping was slower than expected.

Quick reply to emails. Product seems fit for purpose .... assume at time of need it will work its magic! Would definitely purchase from here again.

I can’t complain about the service or communication, because there isn’t any to complain about.
I spend too much money on adventure gear, I’m the first to admit that. So I purchase from a lot of online stores, here in NZ and overseas and have never had an online shopping experience like this before. Not great when it happens once, but this is the second time I have had a bad experience with Gearshop. After 2 weeks, my latest order still had not arrived, I emailed Gearshop, no reply, I called them, no answer and I wasn’t able to leave a message. I emailed again and finally I received an apology to say my order was delayed. Another week goes by, still no order had arrived. The next thing I receive is an automated email to say I’ve been refunded the amount of my order, no other communication whatsoever. As I said this is the second time this has happened with Gearshop and I can assure you it will be the last, as I won’t be giving them another opportunity to provide me with such terrible service again. Good riddance Gearshop

Good price, good communication and delivered in good time

Poos, ordered multiple items, received an email a week later to say it would be despatched in 1-2days. Three weeks later it had not arrived. No further contact or info from Gearshop. Emails to Penny and Sales both ignored, phone messages left on both numbers, ignored.
29days later they finally answered the phone and then proceeded to be rude and full of excuses.
Unreliable, rude, arrogant. NEVER AGAIN.
These guys have absolutely lost touch with their community. Poos.

Good selection of products, well priced and prompt delivery, keep up the good work.

Ease of ordering and when a product wasn’t avail someone contacted us with a solution or a refund - we could make a decision in the first instance. Love the service.

There was a small delay in shipping of the item I ordered but I was kept informed the whole way and all arrived safe and sound. Thanks Gearshop!
