Frustrating Day
James DePaquale was pleasant and professional. I was planning on giving him a five-star review. Once the part arrived, I was surprised that it was not what I ordered. Not James’ fault, the order number showed what would have been correct, but not what arrived, and no instructions nor available manual on this item. My next calls were to Crystal, and it took four to get to a technician. Crystal had me take a picture of the piece that came, but it took three calls to get her to say that she received the photo. No primed call back from a technician. Two more calls and I finally talked to a knowledgeable technician. He was also puzzled by the piece that was sent me and also could find no installation instructions. Together we figured it out and it works. More limited than what I ordered (can’t connect all the remotes because of its limited memory). Technician was very helpful. Crystal, not so much. Note that this is the third receiver I have had to order.

We’re glad to hear that our technician was able to work with you and get the receiver functioning for your application, and we apologize for the frustration you experienced while waiting for assistance.
We did review what happened with your order. The sales order did show the correct two-channel receiver, but it appears that a one-channel receiver was ultimately shipped. Once we received the photos of the part you received, we needed one of our technicians to review them and determine exactly what had been sent and how it could be used. Unfortunately, our technicians were handling back-to-back calls that day, which resulted in a longer wait than we would have liked.
We also want to clarify that your call and photos were not intentionally ignored. A request was entered for a technician to contact you, but before that callback could be made, you called again and were connected with another technician who was able to work through the issue with you. We apologize that the communication process made it feel otherwise.
Although the receiver you received was different from the two-channel receiver originally ordered, our technician was able to determine that it would work for your particular application based on the number of remotes you needed to pair. We’re pleased that he was able to help you get everything working.
Again, we apologize for the frustration you experienced and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We are continually working to improve our communication and response times, and if you ever need any additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. Thank you.
