For years I’ve worn Gap black long…

For years I’ve worn Gap black long sleeve favourite tee shirt I’ve bought way to many to count over the years. So I recently purchased 3 black 1 white and I’m so disappointed.They are not at all like the ones I’ve always had …. They are baggy way to much stretch don’t keep there shape the neck is to low.The sleeves are baggy round the wrists so unfortunately they have gone in the painting clothes department of my wardrobe. They have obviously changed their supplier and these garments are inferior on every level .

they always had a problem with stock.
When Next took over i thought that this would improve.
Unfortunately not.
looked for jeans then chinos various colours - no stock .

Not surprised the shops went pop. Useless and did like gap staples.

Buying the same dress several times and never getting it

I have bought with them online many times. Every single time it said next day delivery, but this has never happened. Most of the time they would refund this delivery fee, other times they refused to.

But what's most confusing is that I really wanted a dress. First time I bought it and paid for it, alongside other items, and it never came. They never contacted me, it just didn't come. I had to contact them for a refund and order the dress again.

I ordered it again, and instead of sending me the dress I ordered, they sent something else completely different in a size that doesn't even fit. No explanations. Took me a while to get a refund, but they refunded the wrong value, lower than they should, after forcing me to pack and go somewhere to return the wrong item.

They never offered an explanation why they just can't deliver the dress I bought. Instead, they offered me a voucher. I ordered something with it again, and surprise! hasn't arrived in the timeframe and they refuse to refund the postage.

All I wanted was one dress, and it has taken me so much hassle and many attempts, and so much time and I... just don't have it after purchasing it twice. It's laughable?

I was a lifetime fan of GAP clothing

I was a lifetime fan of GAP clothing, then it left the UK market sad loss. Now NEXT manage there UK range, so took the plunge and ordered various items - mens clothing. Now it has somewhat changed the fabric is thin cheap poorly woven actually felt cheap and it wasn't it was full GAP prices.. No disrespect to establishments like Primark but there clothing felt better made with better materials at a fraction of the cost. What has happened. I can go to the states and the items are superior so who makes the UK products, is it NEXT. Disappointed 8 items bought and 8 items being returned. Maybe women's and kids are better quality but avoid menswear

GAP cancels online order sends email to call them to make new order and give all credit card info by phone.

My online order was processed, money taken from my credit card. Then I get an email saying that my order was cancelled, with no explanation why, and if I want the item I need to call a given number let them find the item and give all my credit card information on the phone to pay. At the same time I see they reverted back money to my credit card. Worst and shadiest experience, never again any purchases at GAP. It's 21st century, how can you ask your customers to call you to make an order and give all their credit card info to you by phone? Unbeliveable!

They deserve better reviews

Honestly, even before Next took over Gap in the UK I had fairly ok experience with them. Now that Next has taken over it’s been nothing but brilliant, with good communication, quick delivery, quick returns and Next stores are just everywhere!

UK website has fallen off.

The UK website absolutely pales in comparison the US. The sweatshirts and hoodies look incredibly thin. 90% of the items seem to have a logo slapped across it. Why can't I find a good cotton half zip plain sweatshirt? Decided to get my US based family member to bring me items over from there rather than ordering from the paltry UK website. GAP please overhaul you're UK stock and marketing. You still have customers here who want to spend their money with you.

Account disappeared.

Had an account for over 10 years. And now it has simply disappeared. The new website is asking me to re-register. All I wanted was my order history.

Customer services have no record of me ever having an account. Absolute rubbish.

Ordered two pairs of trousers and they…

Ordered two pairs of trousers and they sent a completely different item to the one I ordered. Emailed them immediately asking to rectify the error, received confirmation then nothing. Finally an email saying they were closing the query as I did not respond. To what??? Very poor.

Wrong Size item sent out twice.

Ordered on line as no stores close by. The wrong size item was sent out twice. Once is forgivable but not twice. I won't use them again.
It's a shame as I ordered based on a previous purchase.

Gone downhill

This was my favourite brand with hoodies and jeans fitting the best. I was ordering from GAP for 10 years or more and always knew that everything will fit and is as described. Over last year it has gone downhill. Last two times I ordered jeans they didn't fit well and also were not anything like in the picture. The description of the item - material composition was not provided too. This is the last time I ordered jeans from GAP

Very Bad quality

Bought 2 cami tops in Gran Canaria GAP Store for 30€ each, after first wash you can throw it in the bin, pilling all over them! Was expecting better quality for the price I got them!

Seems very different now

I used to buy a lot of basics from GAP, especially in the summer, but it seems very different now. The website looks just like the Next website. I don't know if it's just my imagination but the clothes look very similar too now... all very samey. There's very little product information and the photos aren't very good... sometimes there's just one photo, even just a sideways one of an arm or something. I landed up returning most of my order as it wasn't what I was expecting... very short items, almost cropped, not in the description... that kind of thing.
On the plus side, the delivery was quick, as was the return and refund, although they deducted for postage.
Overall, I can't imagine ordering from GAP again, which is a shame really.
The other day I got an email from Joules to say Next would be managing their website and other services from now on, but not taking over exactly I don't think. I hope that doesn't go the same way.

AVOID AVOID!! DO NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY AND HOLD ONTO IT IN THEIR BANK

GAP did a 'stop and return' item on my parcel. I have never received it in the 1st place. I am then told that they will not refund me until their courier has 1st returned it to their warehouse and then to GAP warehouse where it will take a further 5 working days to process. I had the money taken out of my account when I purchased my item, waited until delivery which did not happen and they did a 'stop and return' followed by me having to wait a further 10 WORKING DAYS for a refund. This is a US company that normally EXCEL at customer experience but this is shocking. They just want to hold onto my money! AVOID!!!

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. I used to shop at gap all the time, they had trendy styles which were good quality at affordable prices.
I think next have taken over to run it in the ground.
Terrible styles, terrible customer service all at a higher price.
Thry wont be seeing another penny from me.
