Great that they offer up to size 9 but i have recently had to return two different pairs of shoes in my usual size 8 for Gabor, due to being too small.

Quality shoes in big sizes
Gabor make really good quality stylish shoes in size 9. Most other brands only go up to size 8. I am delighted to support a brand which caters for woman who have bigger than average feet and there are many of us.

Not sustainable, throw away product
Was bought a pair of black leather Gabor propulsion XL boots four years ago. The boots are so lovely and comfortable but the soles and heels are now needing to be repaired. I asked a cobbler in my area and they said they couldn’t repair them as they weren’t designed to be repaired and that I should maybe buy a new pair. I couldn’t believe that I would have to buy a new pair, as Gabor are quality products. I phoned customer services at Gabor and they said they couldn’t help and apologised for any inconvenience. At £205.00 for a new pair I find it ridiculous that they cannot be repaired, the actual boot is still pristine.
I won’t purchase from them again as you are not told any of this when purchasing. I only scored a two because the boots are lovely.

I am very sorry to hear that your Gabor Propulsion XL are not suitable for resoling. We however are not Gabor the company. We are a small independent shoe shop running gaborshoes.ie and not directly affiliated with Gabor as a manufacturer
You can contact Gabor headquarters directly on info@gabor.de and share your perspective on sustainability and value for money. Hopefully your feedback can help highlight the need for more repairable options in footwear in the future.

Icouldn’t get these boots in a retail…
I couldn’t get these boots in a retail shop in my size. Went on the website which is very easy to navigate. Found the boots I wanted available in my size and ordered them. I received them within two days of ordering. An excellent service. I’m delighted with my purchase.
