I honestly don't write reviews very often, but GBank absolutely deserves one.

I especially want to recognize Teri from the approval department. Teri went out of their way to help me solve a problem I was having with getting approved. Who does that anymore? Seriously, it was unbelievable how much they were willing to help. They took the time to look into my situation, kept me updated, and genuinely cared about finding a solution.

When I found out I was approved, I couldn't believe it! That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days, and it meant so much to me.

The entire experience with GBank was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional, but Teri's willingness to go the extra mile really stood out. It's refreshing to work with a company that has people who truly care about their customers.

Thank you again, Teri, for going above and beyond. You've earned a customer for life, and I won't hesitate to recommend GBank to anyone looking for a bank with exceptional customer service.

My statement says I have $26.45 in rewards, however the GBank app doesn’t work and my calls are answered by a machine that falsely promises a return call. This is the very worst credit card company I’ve ever dealt with.

I had fabulous experience with GBank! Not only they offer wonderful product (credit card with generous $200 spending bonus, plus 2% unlimited cash back on every purchase!), the customer service here is outstanding, second to none!! In my heart you will always be THE BEST COMPANY!

I got the run around about my $200 credit for opening account and spending $1000; Rep told me it would be 2-3 billing cycles before I would see it; Finally received it in Jan. But then for no reason my card keeps getting declined; You cannot talk to a real person for customer service you keep getting the AI. Guy!!! so frustrating now to get my $200 credit they're telling me I have to email customer service and a check will be sent to me. This is the worst credit card company on the planet.

I was supposed to get a$200. bonus after spending a certain amount and within 90 days. I have sent a few messages, I have called and talked to someone, now I'm getting the automated crap and told to leave a message and I'll get a call back, except that I NEVER do. Too bad there's no place to go in person. Bunch of crooks.

I accepted a credit card offer with a $200 Rewards bonus if $1000 was spent in the first 90 days. I met that qualification but never received the bonus. I called and was told it would be issued within the next two months. Shortly after that my attempts to use the card were denied. I called and was told it was across the board for all customers that charges were being suspended. They couldn’t give me an explanation. That was almost two months ago. I never received any notification that my charges were going to be suspended and I have never received anything saying when they will be reinstated. Only horse race betting and online gambling is being allowed (which I don’t do). I have tried numerous times to contact someone to find out when the $200 bonus is going to post but all I get is a recording saying to leave a message. I have yet to receive any return call. Something smells fishy about this bank.

Was approved the credit card. Called about using my reward points and meeting qualification for sign on bonus. They restricted my card to gambling ONLY.
NO HELP They are either incompetent or a fraud to not allow you to use reward point and sign on bonus. This bank and credit card will bust your balls and leave you high and dry.

Promised $200.00 Bonus after $1,000.00 spending on Credit Card. Account was maintained in good standing and $1,000.00 was spent and paid for on time. No Bonus was issued. When I called Customer service they acknowledged the problem and gave me a Ticket# to follow up with them if I didn't hear back. I didn't hear back so called and get only voicemail. Then attempted to access my account which has rewards remaining, but am now denied access.

UPDATE: I have a $200 credit but at the time of this post, I can't use my card. The phone rep said that their cc system is being recoded. According to the rep, all cardholders can't use their cards until recoding is complete. The target date is unknown. Whoever coded the system in the first place was clueless. Let's hope that GBank hired someone who knows what they're doing.

I endured two months of hassles about my receiving GBank's credit card. There was finally a happy ending UNTIL, after many uses, GBank declined my purchases at two different locations on the same day. I did not receive purchase confirmation texts or emails as to why. I'd already received the sign up bonus and cash back due me; so, to solve yet another problem with them, I paid them in full, as I'd always done, and quit using the card. I didn't bother contacting them since I'm through with them. They aren't worth my time. Now I'm back to relying on Citi Double Cash. As a side note, unlike other banks, GBank refused to change my payment due date. My pay arrives on the 3rd of each month. GBank set my due date for the 5th. I temporarily rearranged my budget for paying in full - for the last time.

This G-bank engages in fraud and theft. When I filed a dispute over the fraudulent charges, they continued to support the same vendors. My other banks assisted me in resolving the same merchant's fraud charges case, which I eventually won. Furthermore, G-Bank stopped my account in order to keep the $265.00 credit. In addition, G-bank expects me to pay over $500 in unlawful charges. G-bank representatives played dumb by repeatedly asking me whether I was sure or remembered that I had not charged these.People should report G-Bank to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The mere presence of a fraud alert on my credit report was enough to get my application canceled (despite the fact that I've received multiple loans from other organizations after a simple identity verification). After an extremely unhelpful AI on the line customer service was non-existent, with no one available who could even speak to the application process.

There are plenty of other banks out there that know how to read a credit report -- use them instead.

The bank is total scam. My journey started with suspended application, continued with no-npaid $200 bonus and ended with unsolicited emails. Should avoid this at all cost.
