This company is trying to screw me out of $700 for equipment that stopped working in Dec that I returned, they received it, but have made no changes to my bill like they said they would do. Instead, they are giving me a disconnect notice. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Customer support is people told to lie to the customers to buy time. They won't honor any thing they say.
A 15+ year nightmare.
We've had a long and nightmarish 15+ year history with Frontier. The service was unreliable for both phone and internet. They are unviable as a service. With subscribers distantly oversold, the competition for bandwidth was so bad, it even shut payments down for local businesses. The connection flapped worse than a WISP in a forest and was mostly unusable. Always a new router which was never the problem. Always a tech sent out with a sense of dread on their faces. But they had a lock in this rural area. And so, we moved to Starlink - then we got to porting the phone number, which was a constant loop of "tomorrow." But tomorrow was always Groundhog's day. I had to turn them into the FCC to get any motion to finally get a date of release - 3 weeks after the initial request. Verizon bought Frontier, and I don't think they know the mess they got themselves into. This company should have been left to die. Good luck, Verizon. You're going to need it.
Scammed me with a service that I didn’t ask for
Unfortunately, when I am on auto pay, I assume that frontier is trustworthy with their billing. Unbeknown to me I looked at my bill today and found that there was a $10 a month charge dating back months and months for premium tech pro. I never asked for this service and customer service told me they can only credit me $10. They owe me over $120 in credits and they won’t do it. Fire beware. Shame on me for trusting frontier and not looking at my bill.
Good internet, HORRIBLE customer service
I live in an apartment building and have never had any issues with my actual internet service but have had the most infuriating issues trying to reach customer service. My internet installation had been scheduled at the wrong time so I tried to call customer service and was met with 10 tries to get past the automated phone menu that all ended in the bot saying that the appointment was confirmed and automatically hanging up. Asking to talk to a representative also ended in the bot automatically hanging up if you ask more than twice. I got my appointment time correct finally and the technician was supposed to come between 8 am and 12 pm and after another 10 phone calls trying to reach customer supoort, I was told I would have to wait until 5 pm to even get an update on if they were able to come today or not. Any good thing about the internet service is automatically cancelled out by how horrible their customer service is for me, this has been an infuriating few days dealing with this company.

I contacted Frontier to downgrade my internet plan, and what should have been a simple request took more than 30 minutes. During the call/chat, a service was added to my account that I never requested or authorized.
When I pointed it out, I was told that I would need to contact Frontier again to have it removed. Customers should not have to spend additional time fixing changes they never asked for in the first place.
The entire experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and felt very disrespectful of customers’ time. I expected a straightforward downgrade request, not multiple contacts to correct an unwanted add-on.( this happened not even once)

They don’t want you to talk to a human
The phone prompts are designed to prevent you from talking to a human. They canceled my installation day, the day of, for no reason, and without notification. Then I was stuck in the phone menu blackhole from hell trying to reschedule.

I've been attempting to get Frontier to install fiber optic lines on my property for 14 months. Hours and hours of attempting to get this done. Crews on my property who have no idea what they're doing! Finally had a technician get the modem into my house and he could figure out how to enter the password so that I could get online--I've spent two hours on the phone today and no one at Frontier knows how to help me create a password ! Worst company to deal with!!!!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE
Absolutely HORRIBLE. Switched from Spectrum thinking it would be better but nope. Internet has been out since Satuday without any explanation other than there being a software update. A tech was supposed to be here today but NEVER SHOWED UP. I can't get a HUMAN BEING on the phone to find out what is going on. This is affecting the whole family who WORKS FROM HOME. I am disgusted I can't get anyone to speak with and address this issue and even more upset a tech never showed up to try and fix this internet. If this doesn't get resolved in the next day I am canceling our account. This is NO WAY to treat paying customers!
Do not do unbreakable wifi
First of all Frontier is basically just another terrible internet company that has a monopoly over my area. Besides raising the price after a year (which every one of these terrible companies do) they sold me on unbreakable wifi saying it would keep my internet running during outages. This service is $25/mo about 30% of an add on to the bill. The first two months they did not even install the thing, but still charged me for the service. Yesterday after paying $300 over the year for this service my internet went out and this thing did not work. It would not stay connected to any of my devices and I also find out that it is a cellular unit with only 50mb/s speed. So long story short it is a complete waste of money. Do not do it. You can just tether to your cellphone in an emergency and it is much faster.
Terrible Customer Service
I've been a customer with Frontier Internet for many, many years but have recently changed to Starlink. The internet cost continued to increase without any explanation for why. I called and close my account in April and was assured my account was closed and I was all set. I just received a bill for $95 for May services. The internet was turned off in April and never used again. They refused to correct the problem even though they can see that I called on April 8th and the internet hasn't been used. That's the customer service you get from Frontier. Take my advice and find any other internet service. I promise you'll have better customer service with any other company!!

I patiently stayed on the phone while she entered info into the system.She also said that she would send me a more up to date router. She kept listing all perks and adding and this will retain you as a customer.She sounded like she was nervous trying to prove herself.Also told me that bill changes would be retro active. Long story short called back a week later looking for router. Rep stated it was not even listed in prior change to account. Bill not retroactively changed
No router,did not confirm length of changed rate. A lot of aggravation.will switch carrier at some point.Customer care abominal lies and treat you like you are making up a story.These reps kill you with politeness buyer beware.
Avoid Frontier at all costs
They are evil and make it impossible to end service. It took me hours of being on hold only to be disconnected, having to call back, then be on hold again. Finally got my service ended in December, returned the equipment, and called to make sure I was really done. They were like yes, you're done. I said "are you sure? I don't want to have any more communication or dealings with you. Is there ANYTHING else?" and he goes "oh, you will be receiving one final bil" so I paid it right then. Now, in MAY I get a COLLECTIONS notice from them! Customer service line won't let me through! I'm trying all the various numbers on the Internet. Got through to one, on hold for half an hour he connected me through to a guy trying to push a ring security offer! Who knows how many more hours this will take. I'll be posting as many bad reviews of them as physically possible. Don't get started with them!

I just spent 4.5 hours trying to get my Frontier Internet restored after their local outage. The problem was the DNS server needed to be reset. I spoke to 4 CSRs who would not reset the DNS server. They walked through their check lists, but never resolved the problem. I even used the Gita chat which failed. All CSRs I worked failed to speak clear English. I have a hearing disability and request to speak to a clear English speaking person. All requests were refused. I requested to speak to a manager multiple times and non where available. During the process, a CSR screwed up my on line profile. I no longer have access to my on line account.
After 4.5 hours the last CSR finally reset the DNS server in the Frontier end office that services my router. THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM A SERVICE PROVIDER.

Service goes out at least once a month. Been like this since frontier merged with Verizon. Never liked Verizon since like 2004 when I had trouble with them. Not to mention that Verizon is owned by AT&T.
