Would give zero stars if I could.

You cannot get hold of them on the phone and after being told by my bank that it was a fraudulent bank account, I emailed them and asked for my money back. They responded asking me to please give them some time and stated that they would contact me on the 15th to confirm the delivery date. It is now the 20th and I have heard nothing and cannot get hold of them - I have emailed 3 times and the phone line doesn't work.

It's a shame as my son would have loved the bed but I am now very worried that I'll never get either the product or a refund. As I paid by bank transfer I will have no option but to report to Action fraud if this is not resolved this week.

Chico wooden house bed with drawer - Great value 4 money. Delivery was late but they kept me informed.

Bed is amazing 😻 customer service and lead time was disappointing but they explained us what was the issue.

Disgusting scammers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER. They are vile scum stealing from parents of small children. I am desperate for my money back but they will not refund me, it has been months. I am so worried and upset and can't sleep. Please just do the right thing and refund me.

Updated: After I realised the scam, I contacted Fromthemakers multiple times to request a refund. They initially told me the bed was delayed and they could fulfil the order in January. I doubted this would ever happen and had already bought another bed from elsewhere so requested a refund. This didn't happen. I had to chase many more times before finally being told I could have a refund if I changed my Trustpilot review. Supposedly they are under new management but I highly doubt it. However I did receive a refund which is a relief. They have been chasing me to update the review with good feedback which I am simply unable to do as, even though I got a refund, this was a horrible, stressful experience and it took me OVER TWO MONTHS FOR MY MONEY TO RETURN AFTER BEING SCAMMED. How they could expect me to leave a positive review after being a victim of fraud is beyond me. But here is an update.

Do not use this company. It is a total scam. Ordered a montessori floor bed for my daughter at the start of January. Got a confirmation email for my order then heard nothing for weeks. After finally getting a reply email, I was told the bed was ready to be shipped and I'd be sent a shipping number within the week. Then again total silence from the company. Can't get through to the customer service number as it rings off or says this number is no longer in use. So angry and annoyed. Have reported the issue to Klarna and will take the matter further to Trading Standards and Small Claims Court. Stay clear of FromTheMakers.
8th February 2023: So you can reply to a negative review but not to any of my emails. Joke!

Very pleased whit purchase. Email communication was okay and I was called back with regard to my query as per my request.
The bed was delivered on time, putting it together took me 1,5 hour. It is good to assemble it in 2 people as it is uncomfortable for 1. Extremely well made and good quality product. Highly recomended.

I bought a bed and mattress for my younger daughter for almost 500 quid. We paid in 3 with klarna which was a great option for us.
We had a problem about the missing mattress.
I contacted customer service via email as reaching them on the phone was almost impossible.
They emailed me back in 2 hours and they were very helpful and very quick to resolve the issue. Missing Mattress was delivered last week.
I highly recommend Fromthemakers. They offer good value for money.

Prepare to wait… we paid via bank and got seriously worried we wouldn’t get our money back either the bed but it was finally delivered.
3 weeks late. Communication was bad. If company didn’t apologize and compensate us this situation this would be 2* review.

Total scammers. Ordered a child's bed in July, still no delivery. Delivery dates offered and fail. Only email you when you threaten action. Starting court proceedings today, they have had their chance, I want my money back

In general, I have been waiting nearly 3 months so far for my order to be delivered in which time the communication from customer services has been absolutely dreadful. I have no idea whether my order will ever be delivered or if I will be able to get a refund due to the poor service.

Details as follows:

I ordered a bed in early November 2022, and after several weeks of no contact I contacted them to request an update on my order. The response was that the bed would be delivered between 10th and 20th December.

Following these dates the bed was not delivered and I requested a further update. I was then told the bed would be delivered between 6th and 15th January. In the lead up to these dates I requested to be given a specific date for the delivery but had no response.

Eventually I was told the bed would be delivered between 13th and 18th January (another delay!) and that they would get a tracking number for me.

I have since sent further emails asking for this tracking number and further confirmation on the delivery but have had no responses. These dates have obviously now passed.

I ordered a house bed for my child in August 2022 and 5 months later still haven't received the order despite it saying it should take 5-6 weeks from ordering to arrive. I have tried contacting FtM on numerous occasions and rarely get a response. When I do, it's with a promise of a delivery date which they have missed everytime. The phone number on their website is a complete waste of time as it either doesn't connect or rings until they then hang up. I have repeatedly tried to request a refund (by phone, email and post) but can't get hold of anyone to acknowledge or process my request so am having to try and claim the money back from my credit card company. They are one of the worst companies I have ever ordered from and would strongly advise looking elsewhere before ordering from them.

I placed an order on 31/10 for a Montessori bed on the premise that it was going to be delivered within 4-6 weeks as stated in their website. I have been trying hard to get in contact with the company and each time they have been giving me contradicting information about the delivery times but after posting a review here ( which has been removed!) they did get in contact with me to say that the bed was in their European warehouse and that they could deliver by late January ( 11 weeks after the order!) and that they were willing to offer a 20% discount if I were to accept. I explained to them it was too late as this bed was for our daughter and we wanted to have it before Christmas. They offered a refund within a maximum of 14 days (this was on December 20th) which I confirmed that I wanted. I don't know why my original review was flagged by them as I did respond immediately confirming that I wanted the refund. Since then I have followed up twice ( 11 and 15 of January) and I have not received any replies. I have already bought another bed and the only thing I know is that I paid them for a bed which I never received as per promise and it has been an extremely painful experience. I really need my money back. I hope this time they will keep to their promise and their response will not just be "we are looking into our issue" as there is nothing more to look into. They were meant to deliver between 28/11-12/12/2002 and this has never happened. I don't have the bed and I just need my money back asap. If you are looking for a smooth customer experience, please don't buy from this company. It has been my worst experience ever.

Scam I ordered a 3 in 1 cot bed in May 2022 so that it would be ready for when my daughter was born in August 2022,the website stated it was a 2-3 weeks waiting time but never received it. I emailed them numerous times in June and July which they replied there was issues with suppliers and even offered a 15% discount but still never received it, so I then asked for a refund has I had to purchase another cot bed from IKEA, but still haven't received that and I've emailed them endless amount of times about it but just getting ignored so I've reported them to trading standards and citizens advice and even sent a complaint letter. So if you're thinking about ordering from this company I strongly advise stay well clear

Don't order from this website. They take your money and don't deliver. It is a fraud or they are going out of business

This company took my order and my money in August and have still not delivered. They ignore my requests for a refund and I’m having to take them to the small claims court.

Avoid at all costs.
