Fantastic meats.. came packed well.. fresh and tasted delicious.. found a new place to buy my meats..

Freedom Farmers’ farm-school pulls you from desk to dirt faster than a Dominique hen on a June bug. Their videos, planners & weekly Q&A fired up my 12×20 backyard micro-business last spring. A couple of sign-up hiccups and the old forum search being clunky shave one star; still, I’m harvesting salad mix and confidence both.

Freedom Farmers has plenty of solid info—my greenhouse design improved after their microgreens lessons—but the course videos feel patch-edited and support answers sometimes take days to arrive. Good starter library, yet I expected deeper guidance for the price.

Good content, but would like to see more of it.

I've been using Micro Farm Sites through Freedom Farmers and also have access to their courses. Overall, once I get a response to my questions about 24 hours later, it's generally helpful and supportive. However, there are times when answers feel incomplete or don’t fully resolve the issue and I have to wait another 24 hours. The community forum within the course content has been pretty quiet, and I haven’t gotten much help through that channel.

That said, for the price I paid, the value is still there—especially if you’re tech-comfortable and can figure some things out on your own. I'm on the fence about renewing next year unless there’s stronger tutorial content or more reliable support when I need it. There’s definitely potential here, and I’d love to see it continue to grow and improve.

Lots of short (but thorough) lessons on learning to use product.

Very difficult to cancel this subscription. This is a poor choice for anyone looking to just try it out for a month or two

There’s a lot of information missing and I’m still struggling to find. For instance the ratio of Gaia green to the HP soil. I feel something like that should’ve been right here instead of having to go and find another grower who gave this info for free. This is only one of the things I’ve found not helpful. Also, he uses 30 second videos explaining to watch the next video as one of the courses. This seemed so redundant. The course seems too simplistic and generic for the cost. I feel I could’ve gotten most of this info from YouTube’ers

NEVER AGAIN!!! Glad to hear that Freedom Farmers is on top of our request after 5 weeks of radio silence. Pathetic that it took me coming back here for the 4th time to write another honest review to understand that. Word of advice…when a customer requests something in writing and over the phone, you respond in kind within 3 business days. It’s called courtesy and professionalism. When we see our $600 refund I’ll believe. Hopefully it’s in 2025!

Content Was good that was a strong point. Communication poor. If I had to say Would.t I recommend this, I would say. No.

Really bad. The Microgreen course was not true! Many inconsistency in the information and not real results following every step explained. I had to learn from other sources because the Microgreen course was not right. IT took weeks also to answer. The chargers on the website without authorization for $97 was not okay as well.

First I did not have access to all the courses. Contacted the Help Desk with no response. I posted on the Home Page and sent a message from my messages and was corrected almost a week later. Still no response from the Help Desk apologizing for the interruption or anything.

This time I am having issues with Properties. I am unable to Expand Filters and I am unable to advance through the properties. Sent a message to the Help Desk two days ago with no response.

The first year navigating through Freedom Farmers was great no problems but this year it is not as good.

Living in a tiny rural midwest town, we joined for a year, in hopes of meeting like-minded people within a reasonable distance from us to be able to socialize or visit with them. I searched the membership and sent dm's or emails to about 8 households within a 3 hour radius of us. No one responded. So when our membership auto-renewed, we chose to cancel, and were promptly refunded our payment. It's a great concept and an awesome program, but this aspect didn't work for us at this time.

Being an immigrant farmer from Nigeria, a lot of the farming practices here in the US are different from what I'm familiar with. Coupled with the fact that I do not have any farm apprenticeship experience in the US, starting a farm here in the US looked like I had to give up my passion and settle for drudgery in an unfulfilling career.

Enter Freedom Farmers, the condensed information available in the membership program not only enabled me to start farming in the US, but also made me a farm educator of sort. Every resource person on the program are honest, very knowledgeable, and gifted teachers.

If you dream of growing food in an ecologically friendly way, heal the planet, be a part of a community around local food, and ultimately enjoy your freedom from the big "everythings without breaking the bank," I'd encourage you to subscribe to Freedom Farmers.

I'm deeply grateful to this community for giving me the leverage to be able to pursue my passion and enjoy the freedom that I truly longed for.

In my effort to solidify my understanding of what goes into acquiring the right piece of land, I am tired of making the wrong move for the wrong reasons and listening to the wrong people. I saw Curtis speak at Doug & Stacy's Homestead gathering and knew that this was the sage advice I needed. So far, I have gotten a lot from the course and now need to get some skin in the game.

Courses very well laid out and informative. Great value to time over doing this on your own.
