4. The Ashoka fountain pen was as advertised. The pen came with clear instructions. It worked well from the start without troubles. It is a good size for my large hand. No leaks. The burgundy colour pleases the eye.
5.It is fun to write calligraphy with the ultra flex nib.

Fantastic little pens for a fantastic price. The quality of these is higher than I was expecting. The stub nib is quiet a gusher I must say. And even the fine nib is a bit wet and writes smoother than some of the other fine nibs out there.

I am enjoying using my Opus 88 Jazz fountain pen. I have also purchased the Fountain Pen Revolution #6 ultra flex nib with Jowo compatible housing, and it works perfectly with my new Opus 88.

The materials arrived in perfect order and delivery was speedy.

I like your emails, I like your pens (they are actually punching above their weight class), but what I really like are your nibs. You are my main supplier of nibs for the last many years, and as my tastes change, you supply the nibs that keep the pen bodies working.

The nib unit with the ebonite feed flows very well, and keeps up with the extra fine ultra flex nib.

OK. Inked up the pen and it did not write. Heat set the pen and it did not write. Removed nib from feeder, brought nib tines closer together with a a little muscle manipulation and reset. Did not write. That's 3 break down and cleanings.
Removed nib from feeder used blade to clear feeder grooves and enlarge channels. Now pen writes. That's 4 break downs and cleanings.
Is it just me or does this seem a little excessive to get a BRAND new pen to function?
OK I should have called FRP and had back and forth chats and returns etc spanning days or weeks.
At the end of the day problem was solved.
Oh....and I like the pen.

The Black Friday deals were so good that I almost felt guilty. I wanted to try out an ultra-flex nib and got that, but also a BOGO deal on the Ashoka pen. And, on top of all that, a free Muft pen. Really great deals. I'm really liking the ultra-flex pen.

Thanks to Marc Kompaneyet I found FPR and ULTRA FLEX NIBs.
So far I have bought more pens, ink, and nibs from FPN than I can fit into one hand (or two).
Up to discovering FPN I thought my FUDE pens were the best I had for the delight of doodling and sketching. Now my ULTRA FLEX NIB has eclipsed my FUDE.
Replacing nibs into other pens take some adjustments to get them working great, but it is worth it!
