First and foremost: the excellent communication! We live in the Netherlands and communicate via email. At any question we immediately got an answer.
Second: the quality of the pens is perfect, so this is the third order we placed.

I placed an order recently, the shipping was fast and timely. There was seemingly a mix-up in my order. I ordered a leather pen sleeve in a BOGO offer, so I expected to receive two sleeves. After submitting my order, a screen popped up for pen sleeves at the BOGO price, so I thought maybe I need to click that to take advantage the offer. I clicked on it and received a thank you confirmation, so it became apparent that I'd ordered a second BOGO pair of leather pen sleeves. I decided to keep the second set instead of contacting the seller. When my order arrived I anticipated having a total of four pen sleeves, except there were three inside the delivery. So my two separate orders somehow became a total of three items, not four. I left it at that, but I want to say I seem to have issues with FPR orders time and again.

Why give stars? Well basically they didn't screw anything up. Yeah I know the bar is a little bit low but this is a good company. Nice selection. They got the order correct and timely delivery.

There are a couple of things that I would think people would like to know about FPR and why choose to deal with them. They really are a family run business. All of your dealings with them are directly with the folks owning the company. No middlemen in between. That's why you will see Kevin, the guy behind it all, take personal interest in issues people have with the pens they have purchased. You don't get that every day. The pens are affordable for quality you receive. You can't find comparable pens at the price outside of the streets of India or Chinese TaoBao. These two things combined make FPR a standout among other companies. They are different in their own special way. They have almost single handedly brought the world of Indian fountain pens into the hands of pen users several years ago. At that time, it was a novelty. Look at what has happened now! The explosion of Indian fountain pens and the increased quality has been astounding and it is partly due to people such as Kevin and FPR for making this happen. And it gets better because they run sales. You owe it to yourself to catch them with a sale going on. If you have ever considered the idea, that would be the time to test the waters. You'll be glad you did.

The website is easy to navigate and there is a large variety to choose from. The prices are reasonable. Then shipping is extremely fast.

I received the order very quickly, and everything arrived in great shape. I’ve only inked one pen so far, and I enjoy working with it. I definitely like the ebonite Himalaya with the ultra flex nib.

My purchase initially was not quite right because there was an item missing. I emailed FPR and they responded right away and got the item right out to me. Every time I make a purchase from FPR I am very satisfied with the quality of the items and the customer service. I highly recommend them. They will take care of you.

Pen makes a beautiful line but is very leaky. When asked, I was told that was a compromise that was necessary for flow. I have many pens with great flow that don't leak, so not a great answer. I won't be buying more
