Focused is a specialised ADHD clinic offering video assessments for just £289, as well as diagnoses and ongoing support. Our qualified practitioners are licensed in the UK and, if you are diagnosed with ADHD, they can help you find the care and treatment you need. It all starts with an online pre-assessment. Complete a questionnaire to see if a consultation is right for you, and nominate a family member or friend who knows you well to answer a short survey about your symptoms and developmental history. If our clinician thinks a consultation is suitable for you, you'll be invited to book a 2 hour slot for a video call with them. And if a consultation isn't right for you? We'll refund your £289 fee. During your video consultation, our clinician will ask you some questions about your symptoms and everyday life, and most of the time you'll get a decision on your diagnosis by the end of the appointment. From there, our clinician will go through any treatment or therapy they think might help you, and you'll have the option get ongoing care with us each month. When you start a treatment plan, we'll also check in with you regularly to see how things are going, and you'll get access to our clinicians to ask them any questions you need to.

Excellent service
I had avoided this assessment for a few years for fear of being all in my head and all those things RSD does.
Cherelle Johnson was my assessor, and I am truly grateful for her empathy and professionalism throughout.
I felt safe and could be completely honest, even though the questions were intense.
At the end, Cherelle explained her conclusion and how she reached it.
I am still processing what the results mean to me and whether I want to follow the medication route.
Unfortunately, Focused does not have shared care yet (Oct 2026), but I would still recommend it!

Nice and easy just as it should be
I had a few funny looks from friends in the know about whether this is a legit company to diagnose anyone because of the speed it happened and the reasonable price. But I found it to be very thorough and they made me feel very comfortable even though I was emotional all the way through the assessment. I would never have got around to a diagnosis otherwise because there were too many obstacles in the way. Focused makes it simpler just as it should be. Thank you. I’m so very happy to have answers.

I felt validated and listened to.
I really appreciated the ease of using Focused. My assessor, Gloria, was really lovely - making me feel supported the entire way through the process. Even while I was distracted, or needed her to repeat things, she didn't rush me and I felt listened to and validated. I would highly recommend the service.

Great experience with the Focused teams…
Great experience with the Focused teams ADHD assessment. Clear information and advice given pre-assessment as to next steps. I like the feta they are CQC regitered and follow NICE and DSM 5 guidance and will not carry out an assessment without reviewing your summary care record first. Also that they will refund your fee if they feel an assessment is unlikely to establish any answers. My assessor was lovely and personable and really listened even when i went off piste and at a tangent. He asked relevent questions and sought additional information. Very thorough assessment from childhood, developmental history, school, friends and family experience as well as work life issues and difficulties. Past trauma and metal health difficulties also explored sensitively. Diagnosis given at the end of the assessment and next steps clearly explained. Very thorough and recommended if anyone is sitting on the fence about an assessment or waiting on the NHS is too slow/long. Reasonable price. The only down side is there is no shared care as yet with GP’s but I understand this is being looked at currently so that may well change in future hopefully. I also appreciated the fact that on providing he verbal outcome ahead of the assessment it was highlighted that there is nothing wrong with you, and the assessment provides clarity as to your experiences and why they have been as they have. Further support offered and available also. Overall, I recommend Focused Clinic.

Highly recommended
Highly recommended. The assessor explained the questions clearly and gave me ample time to give my answers in detail. I didn’t at any point feel rushed. It didn’t feel like a formal interview, which is what I expected.

After going to the GP and being refused…
After going to the GP and being refused a referral because of how busy they were, Focus was an option that I was willing to take, and I'm so glad I did. They listened to everything I had to say and were very professional. Yes, it is more expensive, as it is private, but you get that with the service.

My ADHD assessment with Focused Clinic was an invaluable experience. The clinician was incredibly thorough and held the space safely and with the utmost care. I felt heard and seen throughout.
