I did a Trade In program with Reali. Initially I had no idea how beneficial it would turn out to be. I chose the company after a wonderful conversation with James Dienes who sounded highly professional and made a lot of sense. Reali helped me to escape the misery of COVID-19 quarantine by winning a highly desirable house for under list price right before the stay-at-home order took effect. Their rapid closing of escrow and smooth processing allowed me to move to a restful place in about two weeks and putting my home on sale leaving all preparations such as cleaning, inspecting, fixing and furnishing to the company. James and my agent Ilana Herring were very professional in all aspects - excellent ethics, expert advice, support and ease of the process. Ilana was very proactive advertising and showing my home on sale in difficult times. In addition, Reali loan processing team made it easy and pleasant to work with. I am highly satisfied with their service and would recommend the company to everyone!

We worked with Sherie Corsello as our agent in the East Bay of CA. She was very patient and insightful; she happily showed us a dozen or so homes both virtually via Facetime and in person. She expertly guided us through the process of purchasing our wonderful new home. We found the experience with Reali to be very comparable to dealing with a traditional broker. Overall the process went smooth and I have no complaints. Our rebate was processed 2 days after closing and we could not be happier with our Reali experience.

Because of the pandemic and work at home situation, I had an opportunity to move a bit further from work and get a bigger house with a home office, so that is when I reached out to Reali via the app. It claimed to give you up to 1% cashback via their Reali Buyer Rebate program, and I hoped this was true because it was the #1 major driver for me to contact Reali. They also had a Cash program to make offers using their Cash, which was very interesting.

I was afraid I would not get a dedicated human agent if they gave me 1% back, but I actually did get someone, Lena Pina. I believe I only met Lena three times ever and we got the first house we bid for that was on the market for a while, under listing. She was easy to reach and responsive via text, and called me directly when she had important news. She provided advice and suggestions when I asked.

In the end, I did get my 1% rebate as promised, make sure you read the terms, and Lena stayed with us all along the way and even after closing to follow up on outstanding items. Thanks Lena and Reali!

The app is neat, but its not totally there yet, it wasn't in sync with my process and searching for houses there it does seem kind of out of date, so I mostly used other tools to research, but neither of these technical app issues really interfered with us getting the house.

Our home experience with Pegge Trail has been nothing short of exceptional; very professional, honest, considerate, and quick regarding all communications. Very unprofessional company.
We asked for a tour in the app and then, after seeing that nothing is happening with our request, we initiated a chat to find out what is happening. We were told that first we need to have a discussion/call with an agent. At the beginning of the call, after we said what area we are interested in, the agent told us that they are actually not servicing it....
It seems that even if they are a technology company, they move slowly, and their "streamlined" process is a joke.

We worked with Ilana Herring and she was great! Communicated well with us and we received 3 offers in less than 24 hours! We sold over asking and the closing process moved along smoothly. We will definitely use her again in the future!

After a ton of research we chose Reali to help us with our first home purchase. We couldn't be more happy not taking the conventional route with a traditional agent. The app isn't the most functional but we didn't use it much since we like to do our own research and interacted with our agent directly. However the app did have some useful tools to compare home values. With COVID happening, we had switched agents twice before working with Sherie Corsello. She aided us in getting our offer accepted against another bid and helped us through a quick 30 day close. Sherie was responsive, proactive and very easy to work with. She was available, what seemed to be all day =) and helped us with all our questions and concerns. This was a stress free process for us, and you also get a rebate check at the end. Thanks so much to Sherie and the Reali team for helping us buy our first home during these uncertain times. We have already referred Sherie and Reali to friends and family.

This was my second time purchasing a property through Reali.

Pros
1) Money back. You can save some money in agent fees, which is great. In my case the buyer agent fee was 2.5% (which was also not explicit in the listing) and after paying the fixed fee I could still save ~1.1%.

2) Good electronic system. It worked perfectly when there is a pandemic. Almost everything is set up in a way that you can conveniently sign electronically.

Here are some of the problems we encountered:

1) Sometimes agents were not responsive at all. We missed a bunch of good opportunities to make an offer due to their slow and non-responsiveness. In both cases we purchased properties through Reali, we ended up making an offer for slightly less desired properties. I think that dynamically matching agents might be helpful in some cases.

2) There were some errors. A house insurance was added without asking/telling me so I ended up getting two insurances. Also, the escrow package was not received by the property management and there wasn't enough follow-ups.

Worked with Abel Simonyan He was amazing. He Cared about our needs and helped us close the deal and get us into our first house! He was patient with our constant calls and questions and had the expertise to help us get the deal done on our terms! Highly recommend Abel!

It was a wonderful experience to work with our agent Pegge Trail. She guided us through the sale of our first house without any issues - we've got a great offer in the end with no contingencies and additional options for us as a seller. My husband and I admire her negotiating skills, her professionalism, and her wisdom coming from long experience in the industry. She has been very responsive throughout the process and provided us with valuable advice how to prepare/stage our house for selling.
