Really easy and pleasant to deal with. Staff are helpful, car was ready on time, really clean and well maintained. No fuss and everything explained fully. Spot on.

Cannot thank First Self Drive enough. I was let down by Enterprise 12 hours before I was due to move house. Contacted First Self Drive and was offered a choice between two vans for my move for the next morning. Customer service was excellent with everybody taking the time to explain everything thoroughly so you felt your booking mattered. And it was clear that a lot of the people in the office that day were repeat customers which says it all.
I was nervous not having driven a large van before but I was taken through everything thoroughly and so felt very reassured by the time I took the keys.
Would not hesitate to recommend First Self Drive to anyone needing to hire a vehicle and would not now go anywhere else myself.
A huge thank you to everyone for helping to make my house move come off.

First majorly helped out my mum and I. My mum was due to move house on Saturday and a different van rental company cancelled our van at 10 to 6 the night before!
John was able to get us a van on the Saturday morning. Thanks to him, my mum was able to move into her new home for Christmas, which is priceless. Nothing was too much trouble. We are so unbelievably grateful and would highly recommend!

Firstly I would like to thank self drive from the bottom of my heart. They generously let us hire the Dacia jogger at a HUGE discounted price for my trip to Disneyland. My daughter that is a manifesting carrier of DMD caused my mum to raise money for us to go to Disneyland (my daughters dream) before my daughter has further declines. Self drive in radstock not only made a contribution, they did it efficiently and respectfully. All fears of being a first time car hirer, the team put these fears to rest and made sure I was aware of how it works and even showed me a personal video on his phone of the roads in France. When returning the car the deposit was swiftly transferred back to me .

We hired A ford luton van on the Friday & a fiat auto van on the Monday to move homes. The service from my partners 1st phone call to Wayne to the handing back of the 2nd van was brilliant.Everything was explained well & everyone dealt with is in a friendly & professional manner. This company is absolutely brilliant they were extremely helpful from start to finish. We hired a car to drive to Corfu to collect a friend and his dogs, After several phone calls and a couple of visits we decided on a Kia ceed estate. The car was brilliant and the service we were given was brilliant highly recommend this company and would definately use them again should we need to .

Hired a car for a week to start of with. We called and asked if it was ok to add a few days extra and that was no problem. As an overseas traveller it was the perfect place to hire a car from. I rang them up a few times with different questions and they were very helpful. The car was perfect for us, good price and an automatic. If we return to the area we will definitely hire a car from First self drive again.

We always use First Self Drive when we come over from Nz to see family in Norfolk, amazing company that always provides first class customer service, nothing is too much trouble and we wouldn’t use anyone else as they are so attentive, great value for money and vehicles are top notch. I only gave less than one days' notice that I needed a car and when I arrived to collect it, I could not quite believe the high level of customer service, the speed of the transaction and the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. I have hired cars all over the world and it takes me to come back to my home city of Norwich to be able say well done to those involved. A great experience. Thank you.

I needed a van for a fishing trip across France , this was the cheapest out there and the service was fast and polite . Will definitely use again .
