Besides waiting abit over half an hour to start the staff/coaches were very direct & tactical during our physical testing, the presentation was very entertaining w the speaker he was very clear and understanding which made us drawn to the presentation.

It was good,get to know some people and I really like how we make mistakes and one of the stuff will helps us explain clearly about our mistake and how to improve it.

The whole trial was well instructed with fun drills and alot of scouts watching every moment

Was a fun new trial that was different and something new a good experience for first timers

The firstpoint USA trials helps young athletes to showcase their skills and abilities, in order to get the scholarship opportunity to play for better and quality teams in the United States, and also improve their skills more. The trials I had helped me to recognise my strength and my weakness, and also helped me improve on my abilities. Thank you

Overall it was a good experience because before we head to the soccer trails we got introduced about the first point USA and about the campus in America and they explained everything well and clear but one thing was when I arrived there was no proper signage of where to be or where to stand.

The person who took the session was great and a really good,hard session to push me to my boundaries and get the best performance out of me

A fun, well-organised and informative event!

I’m pleased to share my feedback on the First Point USA Football Trials that my son, Albert, attended on 10 April 2026.

The session began with a well-structured and informative presentation, which clearly outlined the process and expectations. It was helpful for both players and parents, setting a positive tone for the day.

The practical aspect of the trial was equally impressive. The warm-up and testing sessions were engaging and professionally delivered, allowing players to demonstrate their physical abilities effectively. The position-specific drills were particularly useful, giving participants the chance to showcase their skills in their preferred roles.

The small-sided games were enjoyable and competitive. Albert appreciated the opportunity to play alongside older participants (19+), as it provided valuable exposure and experience against more mature players. However, it would be beneficial to consider organising a separate session specifically for U16 players. At times, it felt like the older players naturally gravitated towards passing among themselves, which limited involvement for the younger participants.

Overall, the trials were well-organised and provided a great experience. With slight adjustments to age grouping, it could be even more inclusive and impactful for younger players. Thank you to the team for a positive and memorable event.

Great trial - well run and coached!

The coaching was great with a good flow of drills into a match at the end of the session.

Very informative day , made welcome and hosted in great facilities , the trials was held by a ex pro and worth the journey for that experience alone

Very fun, and a fantastic experience to what playing at a higher level feels like.
The trial was well organised and competitive. I played as a wide midfielder where I showed good pace, made runs in behind, and created chances with crosses. I also tracked back to help defensively and maintained a high work rate throughout. I feel I could improve my decision-making in the final third and be more vocal on the pitch. Overall, it was a great experience and I believe I showed my ability and potential.

The staff operating the trial and the support made was incredible

Great experience, coaches where brilliant to work with too and very professional

The coaches leading made sure us as girls were included and involved and the session covered various skills and made is apply them in certain ways. I feel i improved some of my rugby skills and improved me as a player
