We had a very poor experience using this service. The shuttle did not pick of any of our wedding guests before the wedding. This resulted in about 40 guests having to take taxis to the wedding adding up to about $700 worth of taxis. On top of this our wedding was pushed back 1.5 hours. Causing for us to loose time on other things for the evening. We also ended up having to direct the driver when we were picked up as she kept getting lost in the neighborhood. Needless to say we will not be using their services again and will be calling back today for a refund.

I'm at a loss for words at how bad our service was. We hired first student for our wedding, the driver was late dropping my guests off at the ceremony site as she didn't know where she was going. She then left instead of waiting the 10 minutes for our ceremony to finish and was late again to shuttle to my guests to the reception.
We had worked out for the bus to come at 10pm and drive guests home to their hotels or individual houses within Port elgin and southampton. She did one trip at 10pm and did not return. She was suppose to continue coming and picking anyone up that wanted a ride until the end of our event at 1am.
We had guests waiting a full 2 hours for a bus that did not return. My maid of honor waited this entire time with my guests and my husband left for 45mins trying to see if the bus was parked somewhere nearby. He got a hold of the owen sound dispatch who refused to help or give a number to someone who could help.
One of my pregnant guests ended up shuttling other guests home since there was no bus for them.
There was another first student bus shuttling guests from a different wedding that my maid of honor had to flag down and ask to call dispatch to find out where our bus was. This driver gave my sister attitude but thankfully did call dispatch and our bus showed up at 12:30pm.
The driver then tried to tell us she was only doing hotel drop offs and almost left without me (the bride) and groom. She thankfully did take the rest of us home.

This is completely unacceptable service. I am embraessed that a pregnant guest had to drive people home.

I booked First Charter for my wedding. They were responsive, easy to coordinate with and most importantly showed up on time for the day! Their service was prompt, and was crucial to getting my guests back safely. I also found the pricing to be reasonable for the day. I would recommend this service!

Booking process was fairly easy through local contact. Reservation confirmation a week ahead of event was a good reminder.

Elaine was fantastic always in booking the bus. Our Bus Driver(Dave I think) was wonderful with the children
