The Concord First Student yard makes it easy to book a bus. Patricia Shannon is incredibly knowledgeable and is a major asset to the company. The boss, Henry Cooper, is another great asset to the company. Knows their customers and provides excellent customer service.

Dispatcher was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Bus drivers were friendly.

The bus driver, Anthony, arrived in plenty of time. He was really friendly and personable. The middle schoolers loved him because he put on their choice of music and talked to them. They said they always want to have Anthony as their bus driver!

Communication for setting up the bus went well. Our bus was late arriving, but we were still on time to our destination. We waited 15 min+ for the bus to pick us up - I confirmed 11:00 pickup time, and the bus didn't get us until 11:15. This isn't great for first graders on the streets of downtown Berkeley. Finally, the bus took Marin Ave, the steepest, and Wildcat Canyon, the windiest roads for our return. The freeway is much preferred for future planning.

The people who work for this company are kind and friendly, however, I requested two buses for January in October and was not told until the end of December that they were unavailable. We had to redo all of the permission slips and district forms. A real hassle.
Also, the bus drivers were FABULOUS, but the back/trunk kept opening and we had to stop on the freeway in terrible weather to fix the doors that are held together with DUCT TAPE! For $1500+ I think we should have had better service and equipment.

Both buses were on time and both buses were nice and clean. Also, both drivers were extremely polite, respectful and patient with our fifth grade students. I wish we could request specific drivers, but I hope all the drivers we encounter will be as awesome as the two that we had.

Bus was 20 minutes late due to traffic. It would be good for the company to check traffic conditions ahead of time and plan accordingly.

The bus was on time. The driver knew where we were going. The bus stayed close by while we were in the museum so we could put lunch bags inside and go back in the museum. The driver was friendly.

Drivers were great!!!! But they were late because dispatch told them to leave too late to reach our school on time. Also there was not a number to call where you could ask anyone ig they were running late. Great drivers but poor management

Our driver, Carlos, was WONDERFUL, professional, safe, friendly, helpful, and OUTSTANDING in getting us to and from our field trip. My students wanted to write Carlos a thank you card, yet I did not know where to send it directly to him. So, could you please pass this message on to our driver, Carlos, that we very much appreciate his excellent driving and getting us safely to and from Olive Elementary School and Stinson Beach. This is my first time using First Charter Bus Rental, and I will definitely book again with your company. It was a great experience, and your pricing is affordable to my school, which is a Title One School.

They were on time. and the drivers were nice.

First of all, I appreciate the clear communication, very smooth access to the lead bus driver and navigators at Richmond/Concord area. Everyone at First Charter bus was professional and supportive when I was stressed about the location of the bus. My only thing was logistics on where the bus should arrive. It was a little late then expected, but it was due to the location and how complicated it was to find a suitable parking area to pick up the kids, but hopefully, there will be better planning in place.

Such great and wonderful customer service to take so much time to plan a last minute trip for a 70 person camp. The drivers were friendly and welcoming to all of our campers. The bus was clean and came with upgraded safety equipment. The drive was safe and smooth. Our drivers were early for our pick up and return times. We haven't used buses in so long, but if it's like this every time, we might make this regular!
