Terrible company to buy windows and doors from. Sales people promise the world and then it all goes wrong in delivery. Failed to survey correctly. Multiple remakes. Fitting bad. Products faulty. Constant escalation to management. Ongoing disaster. AVOID.

Excellent service from start to finish. Probably not the cheapest option but we were both thoroughly impressed with both the sales and installation staff. The fitters were really hardworking and very pleasant, and cleared up after themselves every evening. We had both a porch and a new bay window fitted and couldn't be more pleased.

We recently had 10 windows and a French window for Finesse, and are very pleased with the service and quality of the windows. Throughout the process from ordering to installation we were kept informed, and our requests were accommodated. Chris and Chad worked very hard, especially as our old windows weren’t easy to remove. One of the reasons we chose Finesse was the upgraded Shield glass, and this has had made the noise from outside much quieter.

Fantastic experience, door got a bit stuck in the warm weather, a quick call and it got fixed right away. Highly recommended!

The salesman Dominic was awful. I had to chase him all the time & being honest I got fed up with it. He took so long getting a quote back to me I went with another company.

Absolutely recommend this company. We had a porch built. From initial visit through to completion they were absolute professionals. Complete transparency with quotes and all communication, easy to contact, all tradesmen (Brett, Matt, Jez,and Ivan) completed work to an excellent standard and were 100% tidy when working and respectul of gardens etc.
We have a victorian house and Finesse designed and built a porch totally in keeping with the age of the property, a big concern for us.
On a personal level, my husband is disabled and was treated with kindness, respect and patience (where necessary) by everyone involved in this project. Great company.

I appreciated the skill, knowledge and dedication of your team, to seek the best fit for my requirements. Indeed, I was also hugely impressed by the courtesy, and professionalism of all the staff at Finesse whom I met on the day of my visit.
The fitters were great, and extremely competent, and left the scene so tidy one would not have known work had been undertaken. So, a big thank you to them too. The result is stunning, and works well with the décor.

Had a really fantastic experience with finesse, Wayne was really helpful in the showroom, Russell managed the project for the duration and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our heritage style aluminium windows look incredible, better than we expected for a very competitive price. The fitters were all fantastic and did a cracking job. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I have used this company twice, the first time was just after the end of the second lockdown, so the lead time was a long one due to the difficulty of Finesse getting supplies. However, I was very pleased with the new window, French doors and front door, that I decided to get the rest of the windows replaced. I was told that fitting would be the beginning of April, but the new windows were installed this week and finished on 28/2/2023. The whole process went very smoothly, from the initial quote to installation. They are certainly not the cheapest, but the quality of the windows and doors we have had are excellent. The fitters were so polite and did clean up after they had finished. I would highly recommend this company and can see why they are WHICH accredited.

If this review was only about the quality of the products, it would have been a 5 star review. Sadly it is anything but. The sales team were great and listened to what we wanted. They managed to add in a few extras- though unfortunately couldn't add it to the first contract. We made it VERY clear at deposit time that the first contract needed to be produced as soon as possible- due to building work and trying to tie that in where least damage would be caused. Great- we thought!! We were made aware of a bit of a wait but not the extent it took. The surveyor was DREADFUL. He was rude, unprofessional and was more concerned in pointing out all the structural issues with the house (we had only moved in 2 months earlier and had 2 building surveyors look at the property so we knew there was no issues to be majorly concerned with)- though this guy was not listening. The problems started from here. There seemed to be NO communication from anyone in any department. The installation time was put further back and even when we told them about the building work, they couldn't find the note on the file. Eventually it was found and a date was agreed on eventually!! I have hundreds of emails backward and forwarding to them. Too many people in many different departments. No one knows what is going on. Install finally rocked round. Mess ups with the lack of communication (we needed lintels put in- no one told the install teams). Damage to items in the surrounding area. Damage to fresh plaster on the inside. Rude teams which made us feel like it was all our fault.
The second install arrived (eventually) and it turns out the surveyor couldn't measure a window. Had scaffolding up for weeks as we had to wait for the company to replace the miss sized window. It was a mammoth journey to install 2 doors and 4 windows. I moved house quicker than finesse could sort out a relatively simple order.
We had used them before in our old house- they were brilliant. couldn't fault them. But this time the saga just kept dragging and being passed from person to person, no one knew what was going on, my husband having to organise time off work to be in to sort their screw ups out. I won't be using them again. For what we paid (and it wasn't a small amount) I don't think we got the service we deserved nor paid for. Products are excellent. Company that sells them not so much. Also their install teams cannot clean up after themselves. I have spent hours clearing up rubble, dust and cleaning doors/windows after they said they would do that. Thanks very much Finesse for making our new home a bit of a nightmare for 6 months.

Used the firm twice now. 2 sets of windows / patio doors on each occasion.
Cannot fault quote service, survey or installation on either occasion.
Very professional and windows were fitted well (I have on both occasions made sure they are fitting to clean brick however)
Are the windows any better than other decent window companies?
Probably not. There’s the cheap low end, and then the big players. Finesse appear to be somewhere in the middle. A little more than I would like, but you can tell it’s not rubbish they are putting in.
So why not 5*
WHICH seem to like them, why dont I reflect WHICH scores. Lead time, and post deposit care.

First order they quoted 16 weeks. It was 3 months post pandemic and clearly there were issues with the supply chains. I could understand and live with it.
12 months on same lead time. That’s twice any of their equivalent competitors and 4 times that of the lower end.
No urgency from team after you’ve paid deposit. This time 105 days from order to installation.
I will be replacing more windows in 2023 but I would think twice if I am quoted anything over 8 weeks.

Good service and matched existing windows really well.
We have just had a new Patio door and some new window panes installed. Paul who came round to see what was needed and prepare the quote was helpful giving good advice, not at all pushy and didn't try to upsell anything. We have diagonal leaded glass units, many of which had lost their seal with condensation inside. I was looking to simply get the blown panes replaced but also wondered about replacing the whole windows. Pauls’ advice was to just replace the glass. The quote was prepared quickly and questions answered promptly. Ordering to installation took quite a long time but that was OK as we were warned that this would be the case early on and prior to signing any contracts
They did need to resend someone to do the measurements for the leading on the windows as this was complex and they wanted to make sure the match would be OK. In fact, the match achieved was excellent.
On the day (which was horrible and raining cats and dogs) the installers did a great job and kept everything clean and tidy.
Price was very competitive on the patio door and we though the glass replacement was very reasonable. We would certainly use them again.
