Extremely disappointed with Filestage. They blocked my account and denied access to all my professional work without any prior warning or opportunity for backup. This is a clear violation of user rights and GDPR (Right of Access).

I have been trying to resolve this for over 22 hours, but their support team is intentionally ignoring my urgent requests. I have already filed a formal complaint with the German Federal Data Protection Authority (BfDI).

Beware: your intellectual property is not safe here. They can seize your data anytime and will ignore your legal notices. I demand immediate temporary access to retrieve my files.

UPDATE (Day 9): Still no response. Total lack of ethics.

It has been several days, and Filestage continues to remain silent despite the formal escalation to the BfDI and LfDI. Most shockingly, after I posted a public complaint on LinkedIn, they reported my account and got it suspended to silence me.

This is a clear attempt to suppress a customer's legitimate GDPR erasure request. They are more interested in hiding their mistakes than protecting user data. I will not stop until my personal videos are recovered and this case is fully investigated by the German authorities. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

We signed up for a year, stopped using the service after just a few weeks as our clients didn’t like it. I had every intention of cancelling when I got the renewal notice, but I never got one. Instead I got an invoice. On the very same day I got the invoice (they had already taken my money) I contacted them to cancel it and refund. A flat refusal to do do. Therefore my advice would be to have nothing to do with this company. All they are interested is grabbing your money.
