Erwin de Smet - expatfiduciary.com
Erwin de Smet introduced me to several investments, including Fenchurch, Woodville and CINC.
Fenchurch and Woodville subsequently entered serious financial difficulty. CINC has also failed to make interest payments that are contractually due to me.
Before Woodville entered administration, Mr de Smet repeatedly assured me that Woodville was solid. He also forwarded Woodville webinar material discussing anticipated refinancing and repayment. Woodville nevertheless entered administration shortly afterwards. He tried to have me invest more in CINC 3 months before they didn't make their payment term.
I have provided my original communications and supporting documents to the relevant administrators and authorities so that his representations, the information available to him at the time and the wider circumstances can be independently examined.
This review records my personal experience and the documented communications I received. I am not making a legal finding about the responsibility of any individual or company; that remains a matter for the relevant administrators, regulators and other authorities to determine.
The contents of his website has significantly reduced as he knows that rights will be claimed from the statements that were on previous versions.
He gave full blown advice and when I asked him for his due diligence information (which he had been bragging about) he stated my investments were processed by him on execution only basis. Sick, avoiding accountability, likely advising the worst investments around which give him the highest commission.
