HLG Group Tanger, witch is connected to Exer is a Scam! They take money from your Visa and do not refund it. It's now been a year and we still haven't received anything back. Many times they make a promise but never keep it. Stay away from this company! They are not reliable and give you false information. The latest info is that they were also kicked out of EXER.

STAY AWAY - STAFF TRAINED TO SCAM CUSTOMERS!
I booked a rental through DISCOVERCARS with EXERCARS at Sofia Airport – I opted for full insurance. The DISCOVERCARS voucher stated that I had to pay a balance of 205 euros at the time of pick-up.
At the office, they asked for my credit card and driver’s license. They had me sign the contract.
They took my voucher and gave me a document on the condition of the car. I drove to Veliko Tarnovo, and in the evening, I checked my credit card app: I realized that they had taken the 205 euros + 500 euros deposit + 455 euros. I phone to ask the reason for this last charge, and they told me to send an email. During the vacation, I sent five emails without ever getting a response. At the time of return, I asked for the receipt of the withdrawals and the invoice. The staff tells me that they have nothing. I have to send an email, which is useless since they do not respond. I contact DISCOVERCARS. After a series of emails, they tell me that since I paid with a debit card instead of a credit card, the rental conditions had changed.
They showed me two new clauses (not present in the voucher) where, after a series of Cyrillic characters, an additional charge ( not mentioned in the voucher) is required. Questions: Why didn’t the employee ask me to pay with a credit card? I also had a VISA. Why, when having me sign the contract, did they not inform me that the clauses had changed? Why, at the time of return, did they refuse to give me the contract, receipts, and invoice? Because they are trained to scam customers. Unfair practices are their standard
behavior (see reviews on Trustpilot). Another problem is DISCOVERCARS: why do they direct you to renters with a documented history of scamming customers? I admit I gave a debit card instead of a credit card and did not scrutinize the contract. I was counting on the correctness and honesty of EXERCARS; I did not realize I was dealing with people trained in skillful theft and fraud. Lesson learned: never again EXERCARS and their accomplices at DISCOVERCARS.

Ho prenotato un noleggio attraverso DISCOVERCARS presso EXERCARS all’aeroporto di Sofia – Ho scelto l’assicurazione totale. IL voucher di DISCOVERCARS dice che devo versare un saldo di 205 euro al momento del ritiro.
In ufficio mi chiedono carta di credito e patente. Mi fanno firmare il contratto. Mi ritirano il voucher e mi danno un documento sullo stato dell’auto. Parto per Veliko Tarnovo e in serata controllo la app della carta di credito: vedo che hanno preso i 205 euro + 500 euro di deposito + 455 euro. Telefono per chiedere il motivo di quest’ultimo prelievo, mi rispondono di mandare una email. Nel corso della vacanza mando
5 email senza avere mai una risposta . Al momento della restituzione chiedo la ricevuta dei prelievi e la fattura. Gli addetti mi rispondono che loro non hanno nulla. Devo mandare una email, cosa inutile visto che non rispondono. Contatto DISCOVERCARS. Dopo una serie di email mi dicono che avendo io pagato con una carta di debito invece che con una carta di credito le condizioni del noleggio cambiavano. Mi mostrano due nuove clausole (non presenti nel voucher) dove dopo una serie di caratteri in cirillico si prevede una ulteriore prelievo rispetto a quanto stabilito dal voucher. Domande: perché l’impiegato non mi ha chiesto di pagare con una carta di credito? Avevo anche la VISA. Perché al momento di farmi firmare il contratto non mi ha avvisato che le clausole erano cambiate? Perché al momento della consegna si sono rifiutati di darmi contratto, ricevute e fattura? Perché sono addestrati a truffare i clienti. Le pratiche scorrette sono il loro modo standard di comportamento (vedi recensioni su Trustpilot). Un ulteriore problema è DISCOVERCARS: perché ti indirizzano verso noleggiatori che una storia documentata di truffe ai clienti?
Io ammetto di avere dato una carta di debito invece di una carta di credito, di non avere spulciato il contratto . Contavo sulla correttezza e onestà di EXERCARS, non mi sono reso conto di avere a che fare con gente addestrata al furto con destrezza e alla truffa. Lezione imparata: mai più EXERCARS e i loro complici di DISCOVERCARS.

For the 5th of 6 the time we rent a car through rental cars at the station of EXER Athens, again great welcome , got a brand new car and for the first time in EXER rental time i had mostly scratches damage, but it were a lot-the whole thing was done by extra insurance in less then a week , good help in the EXER office, good documents, friendly, great service EXER Athens, see u [hopefully] soon

No se te ocurra alquilar un coche en esta empresa.
Me retuvieron 500 euros de fianza y cuando devolví el coche no me devolvieron la fianza al momento.

Pasados unos días les llamé y envié correos que respondieron cuando les vino bien y me dicen que la devuelven después de 14 días hábiles.

Es decir, me han cobrado en la tarjeta 500 euros y han pasado más de los días indicados y no la han devuelto.

Es una ESTAFA, ya que NO firmé ningún documento con estas condiciones.

Interpondré la denuncia correspondiente.
