Helpful in sorting my issues

Sad to hear Escape Freaks is closing down. They were always helpful and responsive whenever I had questions. Even during the wind-down, they sorted out my refund without any hassle. Wishing the team all the best — they were genuinely good people

Professionally handled the refund
I was initially worried when I heard Escape Freaks was winding down operations, especially since I had a booking in place. But to my surprise, their team remained responsive and professional. They handled my refund smoothly and kept me informed throughout the process. Really appreciate their honesty and support during a tough phase — not many companies would do the same.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
After taking all of my money for a holiday I booked to go on with my wife on January 2nd. Escapefreaks kindly sent me an email at 4.30am today to tell me the holiday has been cancelled. I asked them how I go about getting my money back, and there reply was "try get the money from your travel insurance " These are an absolute joke, and I believe that ripping people off was more the line of business than the travel industry. I hope the scumbag people behind this fraudulent company get the maximum punishment served. It's about time this country started to make stiffer sentences against people like this. They destroy the life's and dreams of inocent hard working people. SO PLEASE DONT BECOME A VICTIM LIKE I HAVE.

Have a holiday booked for December 23rd…

Have a holiday booked for December 23rd for a week for 4 people. Everything was goin good. This company is now telling me they can’t find my last 2 payments amounting to £1797. My bank verified that they have received both payments in October! Absolute shambles! Have been on phone multiple times to them and I get the same waffle. Now I see they have went into liquidation. No ATOL certificate provided. CAA being contacted and further action will be taken if this isn’t resolved ASAP!

Stay away from this company absolute…

Stay away from this company absolute shambles I’m asking for reference number since Friday to get checked in online I’ve got it but they won’t say what email it was booked up to get checked in. I’ve been told by them by phone call they’ve gone into liquidation but noticed you can still book a holiday with them. They also want me to take out holiday insurance then phone the insurance in a few days tell them they gone into liquidation and claim my money back so they can hold onto what I’ve paid lucky for me my credit card company are covering me and will retrieve my money. So people stay away from this company

No call from this company to resolve…

No call from this company to resolve the matter of them taking more money from my account. I was promised a call and no call came, in every email they are changing their story, this time their accounts got hacked.
Do not book with this company they are scammers and frauds.
They have kept my debit card details and taken over £600 more then owed.
The full holiday was paid for before going on holiday in October, so why take out more money. If I had not paid in full there is no way possible I could of gone on the holiday. We are going to share our experience with Escape Freaks on social media so that others will be aware. We have provided all information requested.
We are going to take your company to court, and you better make sure you have a good legal team ready.

Paid our holiday in full of £1500. 5 nights in Portugal 17th-22nd October 2024.
We went on our family holiday.
A further £686.65 payment was taken out of our account without our permission on the 1st if November. They hold on to bank card details. Escape freaks have said they have gone into liquidation.
This company is saying that the final payment of £750.00 we paid in August is not reflecting in their accounts. This is a SCAM/FRAUD. WE WANT OUR REFUND ASAP!!!

Booked Holiday through them,never got…

Booked Holiday through them,never got the Hotel I booked ,messed up my transfer and my Flights was delayed.Said they would refund my transfer as I had to get a Taxi,sent invoice my invoice to paid ,said they pay it ,after 4 months of chasing still nothing ,I put a trust pilot review last week as I had enough,they contacted me the next day and asked me to take down and they'd sent refund back in 24hrs,never happened.The one Star is one to many ,DO NOT USE.

Hit and miss

Unfortunately the confirmation emails did not arrive as promised despite chasing and receiving her assurances.
The WhatsApp chat proved successful when Tom took over and got everything sorted a few days later.
Anxious wait as first time booking with them and was beginning to think we may have been scammed.
Great deal and easy to navigate booking process.

Misleading company

As another customer has said previously
Very misleading company. Please be aware of the admin charge per person that they fail to make you aware of when you ask for and are given a TOTAL OVERALL COST!!
Apart from that I went ahead with the holiday to Spain but upon arrival the transfer they had arranged for us was from a different airport so we had to wait a hour for alternative transport & then had to ring them from Spain to arrange the return transfer back to the correct airport which they duly did.
Overall I’d rate them at one star at best & I certainly will not be using there services again

Great Service

We had great service from Sebastian. He helped us book a holiday which was suited to what we asked for and also gave us discounted upgrades, couldn't ask for any better.

Holiday booking with Escape Freaks

Telephone call to make booking was longer than necessary but service was pleasant and friendly. This is my first time booking with a holiday broker and didn’t know what to expect. Not as easy as booking online but money was saved so worth it overall
