Well buses are never on time or not all coming , horrible service and weekends are worse no buses at all . We have wait and wait and wait that’s all we can do

I was sent here about 9 years ago as a 17 yr old. I was horrifically abused and witnessed violent mistreatment of my team mates. This facility utilizes psychological torture, physical/s*xual violence, force, fear, and isolation to brainwash and break children. I still require therapy for my PTSD from being sent here, I beg parents to PLEASE research the “troubled teen” industry! These people do not care about your children, all they care about is money and power. I was removed from this facility because my health declined so much, I weighed 75 lbs and they did nothing and did not even tell my mom and once she finally saw me, she knew she had to get me out of there.

I went in 2015, they are absolute abusers. Especially Matt Seelos. If you're a parent in 2024 thinking about sending your child I assure you it did me no good whatsoever. I own a company now and have wife and kids. Do not do this. They are funded by the government and tied to intelligence programs.

Awful. An absolute abomination. This place should not exist and I curse every professional who told me it was the right place for my child and everyone who told me to keep him there, even after he was so clearly getting worse and worse every day he spent there. He will spend the rest of his life recovering from the trauma inflicted by this place and I will never forgive myself for listening to all the so called professionals who told me it was the right place for him even though he knew it was not. All of this was made worse by their complete lack of response to any concerns. I was constantly told that my concerns were the reason their therapy wasn’t working. When my son tried to hang himself in his dorm room they didn’t actually bother to call me to let me know until a few days later.

This place gave me ptsd for years, left me in an arrested development state for years. Don’t trust any good comments, they aren’t real. I went there when it was island view academy. I just checked the staff page on elevations and saw at least four very familiar faces. Especially the curly red head Jennifer. I’ll never forget her face.

Please do not send your children to this depraved facility. Please research the long history of abuse behind Island View/Elevations.

This treatment center has a long history of abuse allegations that are well documented and can be accessed by simply googling “Elevations RTC”. There is a large alumni network and many share the same sentiments about their experiences at this place—meaning these aren’t isolated incidents. Please do your research.

This program is also not transparent. The clinical director appears to be related to a leadership employee and at a reputation management company called RTC Defenders in Lindon, Utah. Positive google reviews for Elevations RTC trace back to this company. Many of the other positive reviews being left on google for Elevations are very clearly fake and are not from actual parents who had children there. This is unethical and in violation of consumer laws. Please do not put your troubled child in a place that does not follow the law and is not ethical.

Elevations, you should also remove all fake reviews immediately and cease to post additional ones.

There is a book called "Help at Any Cost" which details the methods used by programs like these... why they are detrimental to those whose brains are still developing and how it causes lifelong biological and social consequences. I am an alumni of this program and developed C-PTSD and DDNOS as a result. I permanently dissociated from the prolonged and intense coercive persuasion I underwent in this program, and have been in therapy for the last 10 years trying to recover. Like others have mentioned, my family also trusted consultants who pushed them to make the decision to send me here out of fear. They deeply regretted it. Our entire family has been hurt by this program, and it reverberates even 15 years later. Please do your research, before sending your child anywhere.

Elevations RTC has misled parents repeatedly, including inaccurate information on their website about COVID-19 cases on their campus.
