For over a year now, my son has been part of the kids' mixed abilities kickboxing at EKA, and he absolutely enjoys it. Ryan has been wonderful with him, especially considering his autism. The entire team is consistently friendly, showing immense patience and dedication to everyone, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. I'm grateful to Dave, Ryan, and the EKA crew for helping restore my son's confidence.

My son is attending boxing classes for nearly 2 years now and he really enjoys it, never says no for training, which says a lot. Instructors are profesionals and keep kids busy and entertaining at the same time. Friendly atmosphere, clean place

For nearly two years, I've been frequenting this place, and it's an excellent spot for training. The Elemental crew is both professional and welcoming, catering equally well to novices and seasoned athletes. Every individual receives equal treatment, with plenty of respect, support, and patience extended to all, regardless of experience level.

I joined the group with zero kickboxing experience, but wanted to try something different. Felt quite nervous beforehand, as new gyms can be quite intimidating, but I'm really pleased I went. The class is a great workout, with friendly people and a range of ages. David gives clear instructions and lots of support to improve. Its a great way to relieve some stress, improve fitness and feel strong. I always leave bright red and smiling!

Well where do I begin!! I joined EKA in January 2023 and have been attending ever since!! I absolutely enjoy it and try and train a minimum of 4 x a week!! The classes are varied and led by instructors who are exceptionally experienced full of energy and enthusiasm motivating the class at all times. Inspired by the teaching I took up personal training in April 2023 to help achieve my personal goals which are still ongoing! I am currently red belt! 2 stones lighter and a much happier healthier me!! I cannot recommend this club enough!! The instructors are extraordinary and the club members are so welcoming friendly and so encouraging of each other! As I’ve said before my only regret is not discovering the club much sooner!!

I wanted to try a hobby that would get me moving and had a community vibe and I found Elemental. Everyone is really nice, they always have time for my questions and to show me moves im struggling with. Its nice being part of a community that all cheer for each other.

Two of my children joined Elemental a couple of months , having previously been to two other boxing settings , I can hand on heart say that this one from the second we walked in felt like we belonged. The staff are amazing with the boys, great at demonstrating and explaining, taking extra time to help them achieve their full potential. The staff and members are always welcoming and always helping one another along. Amazing prices and many classes for them to attend . I wouldn't recommend anywhere else so glad we found EKA .

Great kickboxing classes in a warm and welcoming environment

Being not so active in my younger years and with age catching up with me I realised I needed to make a change and get more active hence joining Elemental. My 1-1 sessions work really well alongside my weekly kickboxing class allowing me to work more closely in the areas that hold me back the most. Ryan is brilliant at listening and analysing what areas I need to improve and creating fun and challenging class's around these. Trying to keep a middle aged bloke who likes nothing more then putting his feet up with a beer motivated to keep coming back week after week is no mean feat but Ryan manages it. I fully enjoy the 1-1 sessions even when I’m sure he is trying to torture me.

I am 42 with three kids. Just over 9 years ago when our first child arrived, I stopped training formerly in martial arts. I have maintained a reasonable level of fitness and have kept doing some pad work with friends, but wanted to try and find a friendly, local club where I could enjoy getting back into pure kick boxing.

I have been training once a week at Elemental Kickboxing Leeds for a few months now and love it. They have welcomed me into the club and each session I have attended has been great.

The instructor is very professional, clearly very competent and friendly. I like the way you can book your attendance via their club calendar App and there are lots of different weekly sessions to choose from. I mix it up weekly between Monday and Thursday and different times depending on my family and work commitments.

I enjoy attending both the general training sessions, where you hone your technique and build your cardio etc and the 1 hour sparring sessions. Having not sparred for nearly 10 years and having a shoulder injury, I was a bit apprehensive, but everyone is very controlled and play as hard as you want to and it’s great being back ‘in the ring’ (there is a proper ring you can use).

In terms of facilities, they have all you could need - lots of kit is available if you don’t have gloves, mitts etc, there are punch bags and even an internal climbing wall and full gym equipment with weights (think access to that is extra).

It is priced extremely affordably. I pay £27 a month for 6 sessions. It is much cheaper than other places I have trained and although I have not bought any of their branded kit and clothing, it is all reasonably priced. I think grading is reasonable too and you pay via using your session credits, rather than cash. Insurance and yearly membership was cheap and they offered a great initial trial period - think it was £15 for 4 sessions.

It is in Bramley, 10 minutes from me. It’s a bit hard to find initially and could do with a bigger external sign, but once you’ve found it you’ll be glad you have.

My son very much enjoys going Kickboxing here. He enjoys the training with instructor Ryan, who is very good with the class. Ryan ensures they all warm up before the class and makes it fun for all with games/rewards such as a sticker chart.
Each week he learns how to safely kickbox, and gets that energy out, which for my son is fab as he is always turbo charged. We as parents get to see him train, and see how happy it makes him.

EKA is a safe environment with lots of things to offer for the whole family. As well as seating, so you can see them.

The boxing bags, mats /climbing wall are all good fun. There is also toilets in the Facility.

Overall we would recommend here to kids/family's of any age.

I've been with Elemental Kickboxing Leeds since June 2021 and I have been truly enjoying my classes. The classes push you to your limits which can be challenging but so accomplishing at the same time. You get to learn proper kickboxing technique and you don't have to use beginner classes only if you are a beginner, you can pop into the mixed abilities classes and all the classes are very accommodating to your level of fitness and kickboxing journey. I even tried their flexibility programme and it definitely has improved my flexibility which helps a lot with kicks. Another thing to add is that you don't need to have equipment if you are not sure of fully committing yourself yet as these are provided if you don't have your own. The club instructors are all really friendly and we have a good laugh whenever we are not out of breath or not feeling our legs anymore :D.

The classes are a much better workout that any gym circuits class I’ve done, with knowledgeable and friendly instructors, who push you just the right amount. I’m learning to row competitively and the EKA classes are really helping with developing flexibility and core strength. Starting at a kickboxing gym on the wrong side of 40 was a little nerve-wracking but you are made to feel welcome whatever your ability – the club feels really safe and friendly and there’s a great mix of people to train with.

I started here when I was 10 and achieved my 1st dan black belt at 14. Another 4 years down the line and I am in my final year of becoming a qualified personal trainer. From training here as a child to working here, I can definitely recommend the EKA if you are looking to start martial arts, especially the Tuesday sessions at 18:00 and 19:30 ;)

The instructors are friendly and competent. Training is demanding but you get out what you put in. Keep going and you’ll see the difference in your physique and your ability. The equipment and gym are brilliant.

I’ve been coming here for close to 2 years and it’s a great place to train. The team at Elemental are very professional and accommodating, whether you’re a complete beginner or pro you’ll fit in perfectly. Everyone is treat equally and respect, guidance and patience is afforded to beginners and professionals alike.
