No refund given after no inspection.

The inspector arrived, I showed him some original wiring and he said he could not give me an EICR until the house was rewired and left within 10 minutes. The house has been partially rewired and I paid for a 4 hour detailed inspection to show what needed to be done to get an estimate from my electrician. I have contacted the company to no avail to get my £189 refunded as no inspection was carried out.

A positive experience.

This company was no hassle to use and straight forward.
Customer service did help me with any conerns I had and resolved them urgently. ( E.G. engineer not calling to make an appointment).
My only concern is for the elderley or technophobic who can't access their certificate.

To avoid: Scammers!!

All the other negative reviews are true, really disappointing experience. The EICR visit lasted about 10 minutes, and there was no proper testing or even switching off the electricity. It felt very rushed and not like a genuine inspection at all.

I ended up getting a second electrician in, and that inspection took around 2 hours with full testing and detailed results, completely different to what I received the first time.

Despite explaining this and sharing evidence, the company refused to refund, no accountability at all. I wouldn’t use them again and would recommend others to be avoid these scammers.

I do just want to gently clarify that we did offer to send an engineer back out to carry out a full revisit and re-test completely free of charge to put things right for you, however I understand that you chose to decline this at the time.

That said, we absolutely still want to help and get this resolved for you as quickly as possible. If you have since had another EICR carried out, we would be more than happy for our Electrical Manager to review the new certificate alongside the one completed by our engineer and carry out a full comparison. This allows us to properly investigate any discrepancies and ensure everything is addressed thoroughly.

No certificate sent to me - 40 minutes on hold!

No certificate sent to me. I had to set up an account and provide all kinds of information, then there is no report! I am now hanging on the phone waiting to ask for a certificate - 25 minutes so far - I will never use you again - why can't you simply send me my report? I have now been on hold for 40 minutes - please just email me the report.

Lack of Response to Emails

I sent a request for their involvement in a issue with Boiler Grants but repeatedly got NO RESPONSE !

Perfect team throughout

I found this whole experience seem less, from the Richard the sales and designer to the roof engineers and the electrician (Bailey) to the unbelievable after sales service has been nothing but tremendous.
I can't recommend this company enough.

I have tried to contact their customer service team a number of times with no luck. On the last attempt after being on hold for 15 minutes, someone in the call centre picked up and left the phone off the hook without speaking. Awful service.

Not impressed at all!!!

Not impressed at all!!!
Feel as though we were forced and rushed into this upgrade as a “street job lot” as we are in Housing Association accommodation.
Have been left with damage to rooms from water caused by the contractors, carpets not refitted adequately as they were, large areas of undecorated walls, exposed wires on the outside of the building and a huge fan that has been situated in the most ridiculous and unsafe place even after asking for it to be moved!
Eco Approach seem to think they have good customer service well think again, once the job is done they never contact you back for issues you raise and seem to disappear off the face of the earth. It’s almost 2 months after the install and we are still no further forward.
Would not recommend if they were the last company on the earth.

Very happy with my Solar Panel system

In September 2025 Eco approach supplied and installed my solar panel system. I did my homework and Eco approach had tick the boxes.
MCS approved
HIES
NICR

Also there was only £200 deposit and nothing to pay until the job is totally finished.

I was contacted by Lauren before the installation to go through everything regarding the installation and setup.

Lauren took the time to go through everything and gave her honest opinion to where everything should be installed , making sure the installation was neat and tidy and not a rushed job. She was completely thorough.

Once installed, Lauren took her time to explain in detail the app to me, made sure i understood and helped with any queries.

Think twice if in housing association property!

Eco Approach has very bad communication! Badly organised! Wasn't told about the massive monstrosity of a fan, that sits on our small patio which is very noisy right near my bedroom window, which is also a trip hazard!Wasn't told of the large Rocket water heater which had to go in my airing cupboard, which took up all the room! No communication on anything! I felt for the poor blokes who had to put it all in, as they didn't have answers or knowledge of anything either. The whole experience was very stressful and expensive to me. I felt that, because I'm housing association. I wasn't valued, im not important. Thanks Eco Approach!

really easy and simple to use i purchased an EPC certificate for our property as we are selling and our previous one had expire.

i was contacted next working day to organise a time convenient for us and it was completed and had the certificate the same day.
