I have been wearing the Eargo SE hearing aids for 6 months now and love them. They are so easy to use and Eargo offers an online hearing test as well as very short videos that tell you how to take care of them and keep them clean. Great company and customer service also!! Highly recommend for people who have mild to moderate hearing loss.

I love Eargos! I have been using them for about 5 years and recently upgraded to the Eargo 6. The product is great, you can use the settings to adjust volume and reduce background noise.
And the customer service is second to none!

I've been very pleased with my Eargo 7 hearing aids. They fit comfortably, enhance my hearing well, are very discreet and invisible to others and the battery life manages to get me through the day. The app allows me to adjust the volume and sound quality settings to accommodate most any environment. The customer service was very helpful in a number of ways! A very refreshing and value added experience! Wish I had purchased them sooner!

I have been wearing Eargo products for the past 5 years. Despite not wanting to admit that I needed any hearing devices, my quality of life has greatly improved since getting my Eargos. The customer service is outstanding and only a phone call away. I recently tried the Eargo 7 and I'm very pleased with the improvements. The devices are very intuitive and I don't have to manually adjust the volume with certain TV programs or movies. I'm very happy with my Eargo experience and I think they are a great option to consider, even if you don't think that you need them.

Eargo hearing aids were the best choice for me. I like the way they fit my ears, perfect shape! The adjustment with my I-phone is excellent, simple to use! They stand with you after the purchase, with great follow up. Should have purchased years prior!

I finally bought these after years of saying “What?” and with some loving encouragement from my wife and daughter. The Eargo hearing aids are so small and discrete, I tried them right away and instantly loved them. Now I won’t go anywhere without them.

I can now literally hear every word during my many conference calls, whereas before I used to have to figure out what people were saying based on context.

And during restaurant meals, I am now an active participant, whereas I used to regularly tune out completely - with restaurant background noise, I literally couldn’t hear anything.

The Eargos have been life changers. I totally love them and only wish I had gotten years ago!!

In the two months I've had my Eargos I've found I can understand my wife more clearly, join in conversations with friend without missing key words, watch TV at a normal volume and hear better in public places.

In December of 2020 I purchased a pair of Eargo 5's. Over the course of the two year warranty I had endless problems with the rechargeable batteries. The batteries kept losing charge hours so instead of getting 14 hours they were only lasting 6 to 7 hours per charge. Eargo replaced the units 3 times with new Eargo 5's. Each time it was the same issues. It happened a forth time about 3 months short of the warranty ending. This time Eargo sent a pair of Eargo 6's to take care of the problem. The Eargo 6's made it to the end oif the warranty, however the same problem occured in the right eargo 6 battery about 1 month after the original warranty ended. Additionally, the left Eargo 6 pull tab broke off with in 5 months after i received it. I spoke with Eargo customer service and they informed me that since I was out of warranty there was nothing they could do for me. They suggested that I spend another $645 to replace the unit. Long story short is that during the two year warranty I had continuous problems with three sets of Eargo 5's and one set of Eargo 6's. Great while they last but a very frustrating experience with Eargo in general. I would not purchase an Eargo product again and I would suggest to those considering a purchase to rethink their decision to spend well over $2000 on the Eargo products. Please read Eargo's reply to me which is basically saying Tough Luck.

The support staff have given me great results with adjusting my devices to fit my needs

I have been wearing Eargos for around 3 years now. I own two sets. (Because I wanted to add the newer model. My original purchase is still working at 100%.) The customer service has been great since day one. The product works precisely as advertised.

I did a lot of research before I bought a set of hearing aids. I did not want big, ugly hearing aids hanging over my ear announcing to the world that I’m officially old. I’ve been around loud equipment all my life & as a result have substantial self-inflicted hearing loss too early in life. The Eargos gave me better hearing with a discreet product. I hear with greater clarity. I was wearing them for a full month before my wife even knew I had them. They’re hidden very well.

Very satisfied with the product, the company, the results.

I am pleasantly surprised on the Eargos 7. I previously purchased a lower-priced hearing aid that was promptly returned. So, I didn't have high expectations with another OTC hearing aid. Don't hesitate to purchase the Eargo 7s. They work perfectly. My hearing improved & I like the auto adjustment. You also have an option for 4 manual programs. Really like the small size. That's a big plus. I've contacted customer service twice with questions and they promptly responded. I am not disappointed with my purchase. It's a great company.

I can tell you from being an Eargo Max customer A FEW YEARS ago that the new and improved SE version is amazing. All the short comings have been addressed and the outcome is unbelievable.

The program sync and noise cancelling in my opinion the most impressive improvement. I can wear them in loud crowds without any issues

I recommend Eargo to all my family and friends.

This my first foray into hearing assistance and it has been quite satisfying.

My Eargo 7 custom settings are normal, restaurant, meeting and music. The difference among the first three is pretty subtle and all work pretty much as I expected. But the music setting is fabulous! As a former broadcaster I was exposed to some pretty loud things and probably contributed to my hearing decline at 71. It sounds like the music setting not only boosts the audible bandwidth but it seems to use a phasing tactic to broaden the apparent soundstage when listening to a high-quality stereo source. It’s quite impressive!

The numerous Eargo communications since purchase by e-mail and phone have been a nice touch, though I haven’t really need to take advantage of the expertise being offered.

Excellent product in all respects. I purchased the Eargo 7’s about 30 days ago. Almost invisible to wear. Outstanding customer service. Easy to set up and are fully customizable for different environments. Priced well considering you’re getting state of the industry technology. The impact in my day to day life has been dramatic. Highly recommend.

I have been wearing the Eargo 7 hearing aids for just over 3 months and so far am very satisfied with the sound and quality of these OTC hearing aids. I have mild to moderate hearing loss and have worn prescribed CIC hearing aids for over 10 years, so I can offer a good comparison between the two options.
Sound: The Eargos are my third pair of hearing aids and I find the sound to be as good as the sound from the hearing aids I bought from audiologists (both were high end Phonak brand). Adjusting to new hearing aids can take some time as the sound will seem a bit harsh and unnatural at first as your brain adapts to the sound. After I wore the Eargos for about a month I redid the Sound Match adjustment and have been very happy with the sound since. This is definitely one of the pluses of the Eargos as you can redo the basic Sound Match on your own and if you need help, it is just a phone call away. No need to run to the audiologist and you can repeat each test sound as often as you need to be sure you are hearing it.
Comfort: The Eargos are easy to insert and remove. They are not as perfect a fit as my old hearing aids made from a custom mold for my exact ear shape, but they are comfortable and nearly invisible. I prefer the sound with the closed petals (fuller, richer sound) and have persevered through the itchiness (it does get better, but you really have to keep wearing them and deal with the itchiness for a while).
Programs: I love that you can set up programs for a variety of hearing situations in these tiny hearing aids. Using ultrasound from your cell phone to do this is genius as most CIC hearing aids can’t be adjusted for different settings. I am using TV, Restaurant and Music and still playing around with the adjustments to find what I like best. At first, I would switch to the TV setting for watching television, but now I find the normal setting works fine for most shows and only switch when there is a lot of background music as in movies. The Restaurant setting is great and really does make conversations in noisy restaurants more enjoyable. I find the Music setting especially good for instrumentals. You can also adjust the volume, treble and base to your liking for each of these programs and enable Sound Adjust+ which I prefer.
Care: I have waxy ears and that was a problem with my custom hearing aids as I needed to take them to the audiology office often for a thorough cleaning. The Eargos are so easy to keep clean. I follow the recommended schedule and I bought the deep cleaning kit to start. You can find more alcohol wipes on Amazon for a very reasonable price and you only need a tiny bit of the putty for each deep cleaning.
Fit: It takes some experimenting with different sizes and style of petals to find the best fit, but they fit pretty well for something that isn’t customized for your ears. For my right ear, I wish there was a half size between the medium and large closed petals.
Case and battery life: Excellent! My Eargos last all day and I can get two days of charging without having to plug the charging case back in for a charge.
The one problem I have had with the Eargos is the pull thread and I see others have had the same experience. The pull thread for my right hearing aid has already come off. Fortunately, I can easily remove the hearing aid with out the pull thread (most likely because of the shape of my right ear canal).

These tiny little hearing aides are fantastic! I would even say better than my over the ear HA I got through my audiologist. Virtually invisible which I love and fit great. I can not say enough about the HA or this company. Help is a text or a phone call away. I highly recommend them and worth every penny. I will be getting another pair just as soon as I pay these off.

Call Mode: In call mode, voices are clear and easy to understand. The amplification for different frequencies is thoughtfully adjusted for high frequency hearing loss, enhancing communication during phone calls.

Audio Streaming Mode: The sound quality during audio streaming is excellent. It rivals the experience of high-quality music streaming. The frequency amplification in this mode is also tailored to fit high-frequency hearing loss.

Ease of Operation: Operating the earbuds is straightforward. A single touch or two consecutive touches on the touchpad allows users to control various functions. Importantly, the earbuds communicate with each other, meaning they are not operated individually. There is no separate phone or computer app to manage the earbuds - and there is no need for it!

Battery Life: The earbuds offer good battery life, lasting several hours on a single charge. While I did not run them empty, this duration should suffice for most daily use. Additionally, the earbuds recharge quickly. The charging case can fully recharge the earbuds up to four times before needing its own recharge.

In my experience, the Link By Eargo earbuds serve as an excellent complement to my existing hearing aids. The earbuds are user-friendly, versatile for phone calls and audio streaming, and discreetly function as hearing aids. While they provide great sound quality, naturally, they do not match the quality of self-fitting or professionally fitted hearing aids. The maximum 9-hour battery life would be insufficient for all-day use. I would recommend the Link by Eargo for occasional or situational use, especially if the primary hearing aids lack Bluetooth streaming capabilities. The Link earbuds would also be a good starting point for people who are not yet ready to wear hearing aids the whole and who would like to get started with situational use.

I first tried out a blank Eargo sample to see if I would like the device in my ears, that worked out well, so eventually after looking at other brands I decided on the Eargo 7. Reasons for this choice are: The device disappears in my ears so it cannot be seen (that's one of the best things), then I tried them out and after some experimenting with settings, getting use to the device in my ears I find my hearing is greatly improved, I can hear birds chirping and people talking from a distance (and understanding them) No more lip reading and falling back on stock answers and expressions. On a side note, I have almost gone to bed with them in my ears they are very comfortable! I recommend the Eargo 7's.
