I'm about to pass my 45 day trial period with my Eargo set, first time hearing aid user. I was drawn to the Eargo because of the small size and the inside the ear option vs a bulky behind the ear device. I received the dummy set and was happy with the fit etc. so went ahead with the purchase.



The customer service is/was extraordinary all throughout the process. I followed along with the suggested prompts and reminders etc. and everything couldn't have gone any smoother. I am really happy with the result - I wear them almost every day with a few exceptions. I mostly notice that I never have to ask people to repeat themselves - TV doesn't have to be turned up so loud and the sounds I hear in nature are fabulous. I also notice a big difference in an office setting where there is a lot of "white noise" in the background. I was missing more than I realized.



One of the best parts of the Eargo product is the phone app customization and ease of moving through various settings - a double tap on the ear to reset is very cool. I have the volume set on the lowest setting most of the time but anticipate that as the years go by, that might change. I'm glad to have a device that can change with me. Another great feature is the charger - no separate battery to fool with getting in/out of the unit. I charge it at night as I do my cell phone and I'm done. Cleaning is easy and I intend to follow the simple habit daily as suggested.

I highly recommend this product for anyone who is getting signals from their world that they need a little lift hearing conversation - TV, etc. Bottom line - quality of life is better.

I was a Deputy Sheriff for 23yrs. When I worked alot of times you were on shift by yourself because it was a small department. Alot of days we met at the gun range to stay in practice. When I was on duty alot of times I couldn't wear proper hearing protection which caused much damage to my hearing. By the time I retired I couldn't hear that well, my wife and I argued she would ask me to do something and I would do the opposite. My friends began to notice. After several hearing test and the big, bulky, hearing aids I saw an ad for Eargo Neo Hi Fi ordered them and they performed well later on I saw an ad for Eargo6 and I thought wow that's what I need. Several months later I saw an ad for Eargo7 and with sound match which is remarkable plus the other settings you can't go wrong they are not expensive at all and Eargo will even have discounts. Eargo changed my life and gave me back something I thought was gone forever. Don't get wrong I'm not at 100%I did extensive damage to my hearing but what Eargo and the company and the staff gave back to me is priceless, so please let Eargo help you to hear better. I have had hearing aids in the past that were quite costly but were very effective at improving my hearing. They were the behind the ear type which was okay but a bit annoying when wearing sun glasses. I spend considerable time outdoors and they also are very prone to wind noise. I found the Eargo7 provided improved hearing and as best I could tell no discernible difference from the much most costly hearing aids. Also since they are in your ears there is no wind noise other than what you would hear if you didn’t need hearing aids. One other benefit to me is the fact than you don’t have to go to some location to get them adjusted. You simply run the application and taking the hearing test and it automatically loads personalized data into your hearing aids and you select the environmental programs you want that applied to. I have been very pleased with mine and I am almost at the end of my free trial period.

I've had first and second generation Eargo's, and both were very good. These new Eargo 7's are excellent: being able to tune the frequency response is a real plus, as is being able to use the ap to adjust for background noise. Battery life is excellent, and the devices are un noticeable to me or anyone else, and the hear through feature for lower tones works well.

I am using the Eargo 7 and am quite pleased with the comfort, sound quality, the Eargo app, and their customer service. I had been using Behind The Ear (BTE) hearing aids for years and despite all the hype about their Bluetooth capability, it is a feature that adds weight and a marginal contribution to sound quality. The Eargo 7 fits easily in the ear and is practically invisible. And, I can wear it all day with ease. The company makes a very good product and stands behind its technology.

I have mild-moderate hearing loss and wanted to try completely in the ear canal hearing aids. The previous pair I had was the more standard over the ear model. The Eargos are tiny, are easy to insert and fit relatively well in the canal, although they protrude out a bit. Sounds are well amplified, although I still have some trouble with conversations, even with tinkering with the different programs available. I still do not fully understand some words that people say during a conversation. The charger's profile is also compact and easily transportable in a purse. Cleaning and maintaining the aids is an easy nightly ritual. When purchasing the aids, I did not realize that there would be additional ongoing costs for the petals and the mic caps, which should be changed every 3 months. This is not stated in the promotional materials. Customer service and follow-up by email and reminders is excellent. The short tutorial videos are also excellent - concise and clear in instructions. Overall I am happy with the Eargo 7s, even if I still have some ongoing hearing deficits.

I am a retired Navy pilot "Bottom Gun" :-) and retired UAL pilot /check airman. I volunteer ski patrol so I require my equipment/gear to work correctly.
The Eargo7 is my fourth set of hearing devices. The VA provided (free) the other three and I am currently issued the Starkey Levio Edge over the ear. Eargo7 is by far the best hearing aids that suit my lifestyle and personal requirements. I paid for them and thoroughly tested them during the 45 day trial period. They exceeded expectations ! I skied and mountain biked with helmets and eye protection and they performed flawlessly. I'm very critical concerning my gear. I'm keeping Eargo7 !
The App is intuitive and easy to adjust. The videos, info icons and personal support has been outstanding. Seriously, I clean every morning put them in and forget them unless I adjust through the App. I enjoy gear/equipment that performs and increases my quality of life. I sincerely hope they prove durable because every other aspect is top shelf !

I am now using Eargo 7 hearing devices which is the latest Eargo offering. I am thrilled at their performance, especially given the flexibility in adjustments they provide. Specifically, the ability to tune sound for better clarity in hearing speaking voices and adjust for background noise. Also, fine tuning is provided to further adjust noise levels. (Eargo continues to enhance the capability of its devices as new releases become available... V7 is great for me .

I am a guitarist playing in church and also playing traditional Irish music , and having Eargo 7 enhances my ability hear other musicians and singers which greatly improvises my hearing quality .
Being a previous Eargo user, I have always appreciated the customer support provided to tweak my sound, and be there for me when needed.

They kept changing policy leaving me with worthless eargos that won’t work with the charger. Despite their negligence and indifference they feel their timeline of 45 days is up. They were told repeatedly that I intended to return them but could not because I was out of the country.

I bought them for a trip but could not use them. I had no control over programs or volume. The units would not communicate with the charger. They were told about all of this as it happened. I made my intention of returning them very clear. As soon as I got back I tried. First they said yes and the Next day, it was no.

They have gotten very indifferent to the people they’re supposed to help. Success has not been good for them. I’m heading to Costco for real help.

I am very pleased with my Eargo’s. I am not very technologically savvy, but I have either been able to find the answers through research or contacting EARGO. I previously had hearing aids through Miracle Ear and I did not have a good experience. I wanted the aids to fit in my ear but the technician told me that they were not for me. I constantly knocked the over the ear ones out of my ears and was constantly back tracking to find them, once even at the train station at 30th Street in Philadelphia. I am still a very active person and being outside taking my sunglasses off and on would knock the hearing aids out.

I have not had this happen to me with the Eargos. I forget I am even wearing them, which is a great thing. I love that I can clean them myself and use my phone to make changes.

I have been using Eargo hearing aids for about 4 months. All of the eargo employees are very helpful and are consumer oriented. If you need anything they are easy to contact, no problem talking to a real person. I have the Eargo 7 hearing aids and the sound quality is great. I especially like being able to make adjustments myself with their app. I have been using hearing aids for about 5 years and these are far superior to the ones I had before at half the price of my previous hearing aids.

The Eargo 7 is a very good Hearing Aid and has excellent support from the company on any issues you may have with the initial use.

I recently purchased Eargo 7 aids. The entire experience was easy and enjoyable. The process was quick and delivery was also. Follow up calls were appreciated to ensure my satisfaction. The Eargo 7's meet my needs and I am impressed with the technological improvements that have been made, especially the ability to make adjustments with my smartphone. Hearing in noisy environments was my main concern and the Eargo 7's allow me to filter out some unwanted noise. Thanks Eargo!!

Great customer service and sales process. The devices I got, the Eargo7 are excellent! I find them most useful when in loud environments like restaurants where understanding speech from others can be difficult.

I am on my second pair of Eargos because the first set wore out and I tried three different products to see if I liked any others better. I found out that Eargo hearing aids are the most comfortable in the ears and the sound quality is wonderful. I now have Eargo 7.

This is my second pair of Eargos . I first had a pair of 6s that I found I was not able to control well with the app ( this was in the past ) , but none the less I loved the hearing aid itself . Fast forward to today and I now have a pair of Eargo 7s . The company has done a great job in upgrading the functionality and features of the app . I , now , wear these all day , every day with no issues . The app performs admirably well , they're so comfortable I don't even notice them , and the sound is great . They are discreet which eliminates inherent problems...easy with glasses , don't fall off or out , and you can still put a pencil behind your ear . The service on both pairs has been OUTSTANDING . I have no complaints , only glowing recommendations . These are great

I bought a pair of Eargo 7s. Brilliant sound, fully adaptable, comfortable and make all the difference. Highly recommended. Half the price of 'official hearing aids' with 10 times the function.

Eargo, why not offer your hearing aids in skin tone colors (beige, tan, Lt Brn) instead of just black. For a light skinned caucasian male like me, they're not as inconspicuous as you think. My wife states they "stick out like a sore thumb," and "it looks like there is a bug in your ear." That's the only reason I returned them. Otherwise, I love everything else about them and awesome customer service! I'll be on the lookout for future releases.
