I’ve been using e-file for several years now and never had a problem with them and plan to use them in the future. They are dependable when they say it’s free. It’s free no tricks such as other companies do.

Where do I began, my federal form was filled out incorrectly by me; not being experienced this happens. So, I received multiple rejections notifications from the IRS. In the many attempts I made to correct an error that was not clearly stated what the error was for I only received error codes that I needed to fix (????%**).So I made a call to IRS, who listened, could not advise or clearly tell me what the problem was, but instructed me to contact e-file, company in which I filed under. Thank God I was able to speak with "Sadiqa" not once, but twice with a call back I had to made. "Sadiqa" reviewed the error messages I was getting, reviewed the sections needed to be corrected and after 8 attempts: finally, the filing process was ACCEPTED by the IRS. Thank you, "Sadiqa" I can move forward with other concerns and life. I should sleep well tonight. "Sadiqa" you are a true plus to the E-File system. Keep up the great work!

What I dislike most about E-File is their hidden and non-disclosed fees. You think you are paying ONE reasonable fee, only to get hit with a much higher fee at the end. There is no transparency with them. The stated cost of the service was $42.63 to file a tax return, and then, at the end, they charged an additional fee of $53.29 bring the total cost of file from the quoted $42.63 to a cost of $95.92. Integrity is everything, and they do not show they have anything. This is the last time I will EVER use them. There are too many other providers who will not screw you over.

E-file is the easiest way I have ever used to file my taxes. It is structured to help you remember to add everything needed for a correct return.

Easy form completion and the calculations included all the 2026 IRS changes

After researching several online tax preparation websites, I chose E-File due to its clear and simplistic design. Step by step directions are easy to follow and understand…even for a novice filing their first tax return. I had an immediate email confirming the process, and the following day another email informing me that my return had been accepted by the IRS. Highly recommend E-File!
