DTC was simply the best.
Was there at my last resort and made a WOW impression on my Driving Test
Shak’s videos really helped me clear my test.
They’re are practically attention to detail.

Great service, arranged last minute a good car and a good instructor.

I passed my driving test today first time, and very big thanks to my instructor Rani Gadday. She is really friendly but at the same time firm with my lessons as well and I was able to correct my mistakes, I learned a lot from her which resulted this pass.

I contacted DTC less than a week before my test as my previous instructor cancelled on me last minute. They was able to give me an instructor straight away without any hassle. My instructor Manisha was amazing, she gave me a 2 hour lesson before my driving test and went over everything we possibly could, she encouraged me to the best of my ability and honestly wouldn’t of done as well as I did if it wasn’t for her help as only passed with one fault! Thank you so much to Manisha I couldn’t have asked for better!! X

I would highly recommend Frank to anyone! Frank friendly manner really helped me feel confident with him. He is more like a friend helping you out than an instructor! He arrived on time and contacted me to make sure everything was still going ahead and the day before we made contact as he likes to get to know you before meeting, which i found really helpful! I used his car for 1 hr before and that lesson was the most helpful i’ve had! I passed my test using Franks hints and tricks but also his corrections lead to me only receiving 2 minors and passing! Very pleased and highly recommend. Thank you Frank! Shak from the DTC was really helpful and informative! All staff are polite and will answer any questions when asked and needed at any time! Very pleased with the overall service!

The booking service was good but I have given zero star to the instructor FRANK CHAN. If u get him then its better to get someone else or cancel your test as he doesnt have patience, he is going to mock at you and constantly harass you mentally. He will make sure that you fail the test. He has been the most unpleasant driving experience I've ever had. Uses his controls to make it seem like you don't know how to drive and makes all sorts of negative comments minutes before a test that you've prepared. My advice, if you're going with this company and you receive him as your instructor, just take it as a loss, just let your fee forego because if you go with FRANK CHAN he will demoralize you for lifetime. Worst of worst instructor.

Great service. Was available last minute for me as I’d only got the test a couple days before. Very helpful the whole way through.

When we got a test date that my daughter’s regular driving instructor was unavailable for, this company was able to arrange for a driving instructor with a suitable car within a week! Vital service as so many I tried were fully booked. It meant my daughter could take her test and she passed! Also communication was excellent.

I passed first time today (with one minor) thanks to Rani’s help. I was initially nervous about doing my lessons but Rani was friendly, direct & easy-to-understand in her instructions from day one. She let me learn from my own mistakes, rather than over-explaining things and, as a result, helped me to become more confident and purposeful in my decision making.

DTC helped sort a super last minute car hire and instructor in Maidstone. The booking process was smooth and expensive — over £300 total. However I was left very traumatised by the driver who showed up 20 min late, meaning I didn’t have the full one hour that I paid for. I appreciate instructors can be tough and strict, but she was unprofessional and shouted and repeatedly told me off as though I was dumb to be driving and taking the test. I was already nervous and anxious about the test, and this did not help. She was more concerned about the fact that she had to wake up and drive nearly 2 hours for a job at the crack of dawn and should not have taken the job, as she said so herself repeatedly. She was also more concerned about the state of her car than easing my nerves and boosting confidence.

I made many mistakes during the test and it was an important learning experience but am still really upset at how I was treated by the instructor in the way she communicated her concerns. She did not have to be so mean. Make sure that the next time a last-minute job comes up you vet it and get someone more kind in their criticism.

Absolutely recommended. I had the best experience here.

AVOID ** update following posting review** - after trying to obtain instructor details from the company to raise a formal complaint - Shaq DTC proceeded to ring me up personally, threatening shouting abuse to tell me several times to “f*** off, and f*** you and that if I want to go to war then I should ring my solicitors” absolutely disgusting and shocking way to speak to a customer.

Horrendous company - avoid at all costs! Have raised the below with them and they refuse to do anything, told me to “seek legal help” after trying to resolve.

First - Tahira Ali turned up over 10 minutes late. I received a call from her at 2:37, frantically trying to find the driving test centre, and she was asking me for directions to the point we had to drive out of the test centre to find her, direct her to the centre & then didn’t ultimately drive off until around 2:45. This isn’t acceptable considering, I ensured to provide myself ample time (coming 50 mins from my city also) to try find the test centre and to be on time.

Second - the car was not fit for purpose. The steering wheel was misaligned with the tyre function. I remember explaining to Tahira that the steering wheel felt slack & the power steering felt off and it wasn’t aligned with where I was trying to go. When her car was parked & the wheels straight, the car wheel was facing in the complete opposite direction. The car did not feel safe to drive.

Thirdly - It was extremely clear that Tahira smoked in her car. The car smelled of cigarette smoke to the point I had to roll the window down the whole time during our lesson. After completing a review, this is illegal. Her vehicle is considered a workplace vehicle, therefore as an instructor taking pupils, she should not be smoking in the car she’s taking pupils out in and this was evident.

Tahira went on her phone several times during her lesson - not properly paying attention to the lesson and giving it her full attention.

I believe the combination of these things didn’t exactly put me at ease yesterday when trying to drive her car and subsequently then had to miss my test.

The car / instructor were not fit for purpose. Therefore, the service provided was not delivered.

This company prays on the fact that you are getting a last minute service and will therefore make you pay a premium, provide you with an inadequate vehicle, then do nothing about it.

They sorted out an instructor and car with less than 24 hours left for the test. The instructor himself was also very good and let me work on my weaknesses prior to the test, and was honest with what I could do better so I can avoid it in the test immediately following the lesson.

Ended up passing first time, very pleased.

Looking for a reliable, friendly and supportive instructor then look no further! Anisha was an absolute gem was very helpful and easy going. The team at DTC was very helpful over the phone I needed a car and instructor asap and they delivered as promise 5stars all day long. Passed first time!

The process from contacting and booking with DTC, through the one hour pre-test session with Rani and use of the car was excellent.
Rani was polite and professional and her advice and instruction resulted in a test pass.

Spoke to Shakt as I took an emergency out of London test (by accident via the DVSA booking app) and needed an emergency instructor.

Shakt put me through to Sumeera, who actually did lessons close to my area but ultimately was willing to take me to my test which was at 7:13am by the way.

The prompt and responsive service gave me that peace of mind a week away from my exam and had extra top-up lessons before the exam with her, she was strict and identified weaknesses in my driving, she drilled discipline and has her own unique style of ‘hands-off’ independent driving, with close supervision where needed.

I passed my test but I’ll always be grateful she took the gamble with me, doing a test with less than a weeks notice leaving London at 5am to get to our test centre.

Seemed crazy, but working together we got the result.

I had very pleasant experience with the team where they have acted so quick and very responsible to make sure that everything which I expect on the exam date are in order. So grateful for their responsiveness.
