Sneaky subscription. Paid for a single translation. Didnt mention you are automatically subscribing for a monthly fee. Didnt want to refund while not denying the auto subscription embedded with the initial single translation fee. Be very careful.

I am extremely disappointed with DocTranslator. I was charged twice ($13.55 and $14.99) within a short period, even though my account dashboard clearly shows 0 words translated and a $0.00 balance.
I have reached out to their support (Jessica S.), providing screenshots as proof that I have not used the service at all. Despite their own policy stating they consider refunds for unused subscriptions, they refused to return my money. It feels like a subscription trap where they keep charging you even when no service is rendered.
I have already initiated a chargeback with my bank (AIK Bank) and reported this as unauthorized billing. If you are considering using this service, be very careful with your credit card details. They make it very difficult to cancel and refuse to honor their own refund terms.
Status: Still waiting for my $28.54 refund.

Tried to translate one document, the result wasn't good enough for me. I paid for the translation.
Next month they charged me 15-ish USD for some kind of subscription. I checked email, no notifications about that, nothing. Tried to dispute the payment with my bank - for some reason bank decided that they are right and I'm wrong.

Checked DT's terms now:

I've been using the doctranslator service for a couple of years and have been pleased with the quality of translation. Unfortunately, this month the platform 'activated' without my knowledge (no confirmation email) or consent their monthly payment feature. As soon as I noticed the charge I contacted asking Customer Service asking for a refund (assuming it was their error). My request was declined. So was the request to show proof that I have asked for a paid subscription. Overall, a company that has chosen to cheat a $xxx per year client by charging a $15 payment against my will. Sad :-(

SCAM! Serveral times its written that its free but if u use any of their services they will count it as a subscription and charge u with a payed plan every month, even there is a "free" plan as option. The "support" then says u got informed about it but I didnt recieve any messages in any form, or did I click somewhere that I agreed a subscription. If its written somewhere its hidden. From my own expirience: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I strongly recommend carefully reviewing your bank statements after visiting this site

We decided to take appropriate action and contact law enforcement authorities
As such actions and online behavior are considered fraudulent

Please double check that no recurring subscriptions have been activated without your clear consent

The refund process was not successful in my case which was extremely disappointing

Anyone who has been affected on this platform can take a few minutes and do the right thing

In my opinion this platform appears to be operated from Russia while presenting itself as registered in the United States
It also does not appear to have availability in the US App Store which raises additional concerns
