Thanks for another fantastic conference. I’ll take lots of new wisdom home way beyond my own specialty which makes this conference even more special. Hope I can contribute a bit to the Health and Wellbeing aspect myself again next year.

Excellent meeting with a wide variety of topics covered by enthusiastic speakers. Good discussions and even enjoyed the Breathing workshop and yoga.

Another wonderful Doctors Update conference. The quality of speakers and array of topics is something no other conference provides. This year there was a fitting tribute to Dr Michael Mosley and an illuminating talk on climate change. The Green Theatre project is something I am already planning to try and introduce to my hospital through the sustainability team. Well done again Bernie and team.

We have been coming to this conference for many years and it has been consistently one of the best educational opportunities available. The scientific content is absolutely up to date, well-presented, relevant and helpful. The broader medical updates and networking are also invaluable. The organisation of the conference is top notch. I really can't fault it.

This excellent conference offers a unique opportunity to meet with leaders in your own very specialised field, sharing ideas and new research, but also to find out more about other areas of medicine that had long ago been forgotten, but that actually have great relevance today.

Outstanding conference. The speciality sessions in the morning are engaging and cover topical subjects. Somehow they manage to be general enough for broad appeal yet detailed enough such that there is something new to learn. The evening session of the conference is always great. Varied speakers, always of high quality. It's the best educational event I go to.

Great conference, much broader than the usual narrow horizons we are exposed to, very useful for my practice and my health.

I work in Emergency Medicine, I found the conference really interesting as it was a great broad range of subjects. Dermatology was especially helpful as training in this field in emergency medicine is not great and we do get a lot of patients. Have to get a dermascope
The ultrasound workshops were very good, and great to work with intensivists .

Great conference.

this was an outstanding conference with a balance of specialty specific talks and workshops to support and refresh the work and care doctors deliver to patients day-in-day-out. there are also lectures on more generic medical current affairs and a strong theme about health and wellness - it is essential for doctors to stay well so that they can function effectively in an chronically under-funded, over-managed and stretched NHS which sees so many of its doctors and nurses realise that they get a better work life balance and conditions in the middle east and australasia!

Really well organised conference with great speakers. It has the benefit of good speakers in my specialty and then excellent speakers from a broader range of medical topics to keep my general medical knowledge up to date. A particularly good lecture from Stephen Harridge - Professor of Applied Physiology. The extended knowledge on physiology in aging is particularly relevant to general care of our surgical patients.

Very informative speakers and cutting edge and update topics discussed across a huge breath of medicine and surgery. 4,5 hours of CDP per day. I have a lecture which seemed to be well received. Took this whole week off as annual leave and paid for it all myself!! Bit like a bus-man’s holiday!!! 🤣

The content was great and it was made better by being a multi disciplinary event so you can engage and learn from specialists outside your own field. I took away quite a few take home messages which I will implement in my work. Great value for money, conferences closer to home e.g. in London, Dublin, Glasgow etc are more expensive and the travelling is no cheaper.

This was my first time at the conference. I was really impressed by the quality and range of the talks. With speakers covering a huge range of topics that will help me in practice. Highlights for me were the allergy talks, as it seems there are new therapies that will change the level of risk for young people with severe allergies. As a GP, I will be better able to refer into the specialist services, and support the patients/families.

This was my first time at conference and I had heard good things but didn’t really know what to expect. It was extremely well organised, and the educational content surpassed my expectations! I really liked the varied nature of the topics but above all valued time with like minded colleagues sharing wisdom and the successes and challenges that we are all facing in the NHS and General Practice right now. Have definitely got some great ideas to help improve my work. Can’t wait to return! Thank you.

Fantastic conference, good mix of specialities and speakers, good opportunities for hands on learning. Learning aimed at most stages of training to post-CCT. Would very much recommend to all doctors.
