Got my road and gravel bike fitted by Greg last week. Both of the bikes feel completely different to ride (for the better)

I approached Greg to look at my overall positioning/fit with a view to overcoming numb & tingling fingers in my left hand. Greg recommended some core strengthening & flexibility work, but the fit itself, whilst incluidng some very minor tweeks to cleat position & saddle setback, focused on simply rotating my handlebars backwards towards me bringing the levers closer to attempt to solve the numbness/tingling. Unfortunately this only reduced the number of hand positions available to me & did not solve the numbness, & over a 4 hour ride it actually made my problem worse. I have since resolved the issue myself, so did not feel the session provided reflected value for money or offered any useful benefit

I booked in with Greg for a full bike fit after reading all the positive reviews about the service he provides. I'm 53 and recently bought my first road bike a Dolen Le'tape and felt that it didn't fit me at all. I'd been in a few rides and wasn't comfortable at all with pain in my right hip, back, elbows and my right foot and also the expected backside aches.

I'd watched plenty of YouTube videos and tried tinkering but soon realized that the slightest adjustment, effected everything else and ended up chasing shadows. I decided to call Greg and he booked me in.

On meetung Greg, he's such a nice guy. Friendly, so knowledgeable and interesting to chat to. He set my bike up and got me riding it, took a whole host of measurements and filmed me riding it. Measured my feet, adjusted my cleats and saddle position and made adjustments to the bike itself and then I sat back on the bike.

Instantly it felt more natural and a lot more comfortable. I was expecting to be told that my frame was too big, the handlebars were too wide and my stem was too long but he worked his magic and it feels fantastic. I've since been out on a few rides and I feel more at one with the bike now and I don't have any of the issues that I had before and going further with less effort. The saddle seems so much more comfortable than it did although I think I still have a way to go before the saddle has broken me in! Greg also does a saddle loan service which is basically a try before you buy so you don't end up wasting money on lots of different saddles.

All in all I can 100% recommend Greg if you're new to cycling like myself or a seasoned veteran, it'll improve your ride, comfort and efficiency. Considering what bikes cost now, not having a professional bike fit just isn't logical. If you haven't had it done just do it, you won't regret it. Thanks Greg!

So I was recommended to go and see Greg for a bike fit as I was training to cycle Lands End to John O Groats. I actually had the fit done in February but wanted to wait and get my training done and complete to ride before I gave an honest review.
1st of all Greg is a proper nice bloke and made me feel very relaxed.
So the bike fit by Greg transformed my riding. I felt so much more comfortable and was able to put more power through the pedals. I completed 970 miles with 57000ft of ascent in 7 days so thanks Greg the bike fit made a huge difference.
To everybody that reads this review and is unsure about getting a bike fit pick up the phone now and book in with Greg.

Fitting for a new road bike.
I highly recommend a visit to Dr Sprocket. Greg was fantastic with my bike fit. He has extensive knowledge and patient, with real attention to detail. Taking into account my recent spinal surgery he had suggestions to further improve my fitness and recovery as well as training off the bike. Will be back once my new road bike has arrived.

I went for a second fitting yesterday, with my new gravel bike and shoes. I had a fitting for my road bike a few years ago, and some new road shoes and cleats last year.
I highly recommend a visit to Dr Sprocket. Many of us spend a lot of money on bikes and kit. Many of us think we adjust bike and position well. However, a proper fit is the best bike-related purchase I've made.
Greg is patient and knowledgeable, with real attention to detail. The real test was today though: first outing on new bike with new shoes and cleats. Bike fits like a glove. Right knee, which was giving me some issues due to my own woeful attempts at set up, was pain free.
Give Dr Sprocket a go. I believe you'll benefit.

I recently went to see Doctor Sprocket for a bike sizing. Id been thinking about buying a new bike and was really overwhelmed by how many differnt options where out there. After looking at my posture and budget Greg was able to recommend a few differnt bikes and help me make my choice. Hes taken the guesswork out and saved me hours of time.

Greg’s expertise was evident from the moment I walked in. He has built up a lot of knowledge from constant research and learning. He was always explaining the why of what he was doing to educate myself as well as getting the bike fitted to me. Will be back again in future for other bikes and would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.
