We use Google Docs on a daily basis and it's an essential part of our working processes. For the most part we're very happy though there are a couple of things worth mentioning that I hope will be improved in the future.

Firstly, if you work with multiple Google accounts, it can get frustrating as you switch between Google aps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc) and it seems that the account it assigns for the new tab is often random. This can cause confsion when Docs are not where you thought they were and you cannot save them under a different Google account Drive without making a copy or adding a shortcut which is a bit of a hoo-hah.

Secondly, for some unknown reason they did not bother to build in the functionality to select multiple areas of text. This is particularly annoying if you want to edit multiple headings, or change font size of multiple sections, etc. This functionality exists in Word (Shift + select) and it's a bit strange that Google is lagging with such an, in my eyes, essential feature. Let's hope they get up to speed soon.

Love it. Always use it. Part of my brain. Allows me to grow and learn better. I love this prorgram so much that I recommend it to anyone if the subject ever comes up. I would like it if it was easier to mass delete files but w/e its free.

It is super easy to use. Good interface and great features, but what it lacks is research writing features. Maybe they could work on that just a little.

This is really helpful application, That will helps us to do our day today office works to easy.

Very helpful tool.
However, they need to enable transfer of ownership, in Google Docs, for files not generated in Google Docs.

It's great for making documents and doing compositions. It's easy to use.

A great way to type things down without have to pay money or save manually. Helps me a great deal with my schoolwork.

It's good but I like slides better

Google Docs wants your data. After working with 5 different support reps they still have not figured out how I can "Take" my data back. They have this tool called google takeout. Problem is entire folders with hundreds of files is missing so that doesn't work. You can only open those doc files with that account so you can't transfer the files either. Back to Microsoft, at least I own my word docs and can do anything I want with them

Excellent for working on documents. I like their features and the ability to auto save as I type up documents for assignments. I also like the options for downloading a document in a certain format too.

Alright, to be fair it is a good online office suite, plenty of formatting options, nice and clean UI, in short in class with MS office or Libre office.

The fact that it is online as well is which allows the great collaboration feature is what normally would have convinced me to give a 5 star.

But, as it turns out they are reading your documents and remove stuff they don't like. So basically, what could have been a great service is now completely useless. From now on it'll be self hosted Libre office for me and my colleges.

I think google docs should exist forever because there is an add fonts button that allows you to transform your font collection to have hundreds of fonts in just minutes! The line spacing has the most options among document writers in the whole world. There are an insanely high number of options for bulleted and numbered lists. You can type professionally or make the best looking signs! I love the way that google gives you a lot of options. I think google docs should be free forever. It seems there are an almost endless amount of fonts. Recommended for all typists!

Highly recommended. Used it for school, good for work. I write books on it.
