Great company, really helpful before and after delivery, during installation any issues I had they were very quick to help.

i fitted skirting heating 10 years ago , in november 2023 we had a domestic flood on solid oak flooring ,all of which ha to be lifted due to water damage indoing so the skirting droped out of its fixing clips so i need to dismantle the skirting , i talked to [lauryn] at discreet heat she aranged dispatch of new o:ring @ fitting greace free of charge ,great service 10 out of 10 many thank lauryn at discreetheat a great product

The product is great and works a treat. You need to make sure you don't need any customer support though as this is non existent. I have required customer support for 2 issues initial non delivery and return of surplus items that I was charged for and did not need. Both times I have been promised call backs and the call backs dont come, equating to more chasing and following up and time wasting, if it was a one time issue with one of my queries I would have put it down as an isolated incident but its both. I eventually received the delivery but it delayed the entire project. I am yet to receive my refund.

It's a shame a good product is let down by non existent customer support.

We had these installed in July and having used them throughout the winter we are very happy with the way it heats the home quickly and efficiently. Customer service from the DiscreetHeat team has also been excellent in our experience so far. We don't really mind the look of the product itself, however, the way it was installed is rather poor.

Not enough gaskets were used to attach the heated skirting to the wall - this means we have very loose sections of the skirting that sort of 'flap about' whenever they are touched. Further to this, the installers left huge holes in the wall behind some parts of the skirting, from which we've seen mice come out. Finally, some of the dummy MDF skirting wasn't glued properly and has now detached from the wall - to us, this last point speaks volumes about how the overall work was carried out.

Given we spent just as much on the installation as we spent on the product itself, we were expecting a much higher standard of work. Referring to online photographs and videos on Thermaskirt's website it's clear that the skirting isn't supposed to be installed the way it is installed in our home.

This is not Thermaskirt's direct fault - as we are very happy with the product that they provided us. However, the contractor who installed the skirting was recommended by them, and they are the ones who fell short of properly installing the skirting. When trying to get in touch with the contractor we've been dismissed and/or ignored. We've gotten in touch with Thermaskirt about the issue now and hoping to find a solution with them soon - will then update the review accordingly.

As I’m not a professional heating engineer I was pleasantly surprised how simple the set up is. Connected to the feed and return of the radiators. Any problems there are helpful staff just a phone call away. Lauryn was particularly helpful on more than one occasion.

Excellent service very fast delivery

I installed their Thermaskirt product after major flooding in the area on boxing day 2015 (installed Feb 2016) and it's still going strong! Just had my first minor leak from the TRV and they've sent me one out to fix the problem straight away so can't fault their service or product.
I figured this type of product would be useful to dry out the walls quicker if it flooded again, which it did in 2020, and I have zero regrets, still looks almost as good as new. Can be a bit fiddly to install but shouldn't cause too much concern for the DIY enthusiast, or a competent plumber.

It’s a great idea and, although different, not particularly challenging to install. It’s a fraction of the cost of an underfloor system but works In a similar fashion. The threshhold heating is very good.

Fantastic customer service - Lauryn consistently over-delivers! Had Thermaskirt installed in 2013 and needed new trims as the old ones were looking tatty - Lauren referenced the original order for the necessary details and the new trims are already on their way -outstanding!!

The service from start to finish has been a very positive one with Discrete Heat.The marketing team gave me multiple options to keep my cost low and designed and re designed my layout to translate this to my plumber with ease.I would highly recommend their service and product. Thank you

After several emails and phone calls, on the promise we would receive a call back we have had to review this company/product with one star. We have had no response from customer service and we are still missing parts for the product we have paid for. The expensive inhibitor that is required as part of the guarantee is still missing despite requests so we have had to purchase additionally in order to install alongside some additional piping requirements. The corner plates and cover plates do not sit flush to the main skirting when installed over the push fit connections leaving an obtrusive look, and these plates are not colour matched to the actual skirting themselves and in all fairness for the near £1500 in skirting we have purchased does not express enough heat for the room compared to a old fashioned radiator or a new stand up radiator. Whilst the boards themselves get very hot to touch, this heat seems to dissipate and does not effectively warm the room. With windows and doors being serviced and the room only being 4 x 6 metres, we sincerely expected a better outcome than this. Unfortunately this is very poor customer service post sale and very ineffective communication strategies in order to help the customer. I am aware that there are allegedly many happy customers and the company may have completed many installations but the service we have received has been nothing more than poor and inadequate.

My heating system had been making some strange noises for a few days, and I thought I'd have a go at bleeding the system. In doing so I managed to break it.

DiscreteHeat took my panicked call on a Sunday, reassured me and got the right part sent out today. Meanwhile I'm still waiting on phone calls back from three of the four emergency plumbers I contacted on Sunday!

I used ThermaSkirt in my garden room extension in 2019 and it has been working well since then. We had one problem because the plumber made an error fitting the corner pieces. Discreteheating helped with this problem and have always been very helpful. Obviously it is important that the system is fitted exactly in accordance with the instructions which include very good videos.

Hi - we haven't had any experience yet - but would very much like to... however how do we get to buy and have a thermaskirt installed in our flat in Odense, Denmark? Have written your support team on your website, but they haven't responded to my second message with info about being from Denmark.

Bought and installed in 2012 found it tricky when mounting the skirt onto cips and found the staff helpful, 11years later it's started leaking, so I need new rubber seals, have not looked if sold as spares but feel I will need to buy 2no joiners which won't be cheap I expect. Good product but 11 years and it leaks. The rad I took out was 20yrs old and no leaks.

Discrete heat were very helpful in getting our project designed. Any queries we had they were on the phone to help. We are very happy with the product.

The product is great refined and improved over a number or years .we are pleased to say we have both the electrical version and the plumbed in version on display in our showroom .Only problem is customers cant find it as it is so DISCRETE we have to point it out to them .so we play spot the heating system with them which is in its self a great starting point with potential buyers . The plumbed in version is great whether using a traditional Gas or oil boiler or heat pump. For all electric properties the electric version is much neater and cheaper to run than storage heaters

We bought a new home with discrete heat skirting in the lounge and we love it. It looks amazing and keeps the room warm!

We needed a missing piece as our toddler had been fiddling, and Martin replied very quickly and is arranging it to be sent to us.
