I have been a a good customer from the start but I ordered 24x sausage and mustard 24x mushroom and garlic 24x salted crisps the delivery was fine but the crisps only had a small use by date mushroom and garlic 16 /10/26 salted 20/10/26 sausage and mustard 10/10/26 that is not acceptable I put the big order in so they would last a while not a week or so use by date

I have placed two online orders with Diddly Stuart Farm Shop and cannot fault the service.
Extremely fast shipping, delicious products; I panic now if I run out of anything as I’ve ditched all my previous favourites!

My wife was really looking forward to the visit s we are both huge Clarkson fans. When we arrived we couldn't believe our eyes- so many people and a muddy car park on the side of a mountain. We were incredulous at the tiny size of this major attraction and the queues were just horrendous. After all the hype it made us very sad.

Dear Diddly Squat Farm,

I am giving you one star because the way my father’s order was handled has been absolutely appalling.

Back in June, around Father’s Day, I sent my father money so that he could treat himself to a couple of bottles of whiskey from Diddly Squat Farm. He is 80 years old, and this was supposed to be a simple Father’s Day gift.

Instead, the package was lost in the post, and what followed was an absolutely ridiculous three-month wait before the matter was finally resolved.

Three months.

My father is in his 80s, and despite knowing the circumstances and the length of time he had been waiting, it took Diddly Squat Farm THREE MONTHS to sort this out.

And when the order was finally sent out, not only had my father already been left waiting for months, but you didn’t even include anything extra as a gesture of goodwill or even a simple apology to him for the ridiculous delay.

I expected far better from Diddly Squat Farm, especially given the association with Jeremy Clarkson and the reputation the business has built. When a customer has been waiting three months because an order has gone missing, the absolute bare minimum would be to acknowledge the inconvenience and make some small gesture to show that you actually give a damn.

Instead, my 80-year-old father was simply left waiting, chasing things up, and eventually receiving the replacement order with absolutely nothing to acknowledge the three-month ordeal.

That is disgusting customer service.

This wasn’t some complicated situation. It was an order that went missing, and it took three months to resolve. The fact that nobody thought it appropriate to apologise properly or include even a small gesture for my father after such an unacceptable wait says a great deal about how customers are treated.

I genuinely expected more from you.

One star is more than generous.

Great online shopping crisps jams and chutneys delicious also shandy

Ordered Richard Ham when saw that they had come back in stock, unfortunately this was an error as the Warehouse did not have stock. The lovely Sarah from the shop contacted me regarding the stock error and offered to collect one from the shop and post it out to me, added a lovely card and bow to the package and was delivered very quickly. Thank you again for going the extra mile :)

We’ve just visited Diddly Squat farm today. Took the advice to arrive early, was easy to park,
queued for about 40 mins to get in the shop, as we were there before the opening time of 9.30am (very glad we did so early as the queue was the length of the carpark later)
Bought Hawkestone stout sausages, strawberry jam, crisps and a pork pie. The prices were comparable with our normal buying (not supermarket) as buying meat from UK farms with higher welfare standards and lower "food miles" reduce transportation emissions and avoid factory farming conditions
Pork pie had plenty of meat and jelly - very tasty, thumbs up
Crisps tasted as if fresh from being baked - very good
Jam is a present, made from UK strawberries, a plus, and price comparable
Sausages to be cooked yet!! Looking forward to them
We shared the Bacon and Sausage cobs - full of flavour and plenty of meat, then we finished off with ice cream, the Thunder & Lightning one was especially good!!
A mark down is for Not Stocking Decaf Tea at the drinks section - This is worth changing (not everyone can tolerate caffeine) they do for the coffee, but not everyone drinks coffee
All in all it was a good morning out, we enjoyed it, and are off to Hawkestone Brewery next!

Lots of hype, very little substance
I paid £7 for postage and have been waiting almost three weeks for my order. I’ve contacted customer services several times and only received generic “we’re extremely busy” responses.
The item was meant to be a birthday gift, but the delay meant I had to buy something else. The company appears to focus heavily on advertising, while existing customers are left chasing updates.
Very disappointing experience and not a company I would order from again.

Ordered from the website which as quick and easy. Took a while to be delivered. The little turds honey comb chocolate is nice but there is more chocolate than honeycomb ratio. The chocolate is very creamy but you don't really get the taste of the honeycomb. Plus as people are stating the prices are very over the top.

I recently had an issue with a product I ordered online, I emailed and within 24 hours the replacement had been sent. Amazing customer service, will highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again

ordered items online , excellent delivery time , packaged superbly and the very best quality through all items delicious gourmet sandwich relishes with top quality ingredients had crisps too which were superb quality and unusual flavours , i would have given a full 5 star but had to mark down somewhere and give feedback , the crisp packet material is too thick and sealed too well making them hard to open with my spazzy disabled hands

I ordered a gin set on the 16th of June for my friends birthday. I received an email from the courier on the 24th saying sorry they couldn't deliver my parcel but it would be delivered the next day. Four days later still no parcel. So I emailed the courier who told me there was no sign of it and to email Diddly Squat farm. I found the email for the farm which said they are busy and usually reply to emails 1/2 days. That was Monday. It's now Friday and no response. I had to purchase something else for my friend so I'm seriously not happy! So if someone from Diddly squat farm happens to read this my order number is DSF 344756.!

I didnt visit the shop i live too far away - however i did purchase some goods online - the blackberry jam is gorgeous very tasty, the smoked chilli mayo unfortunately wasnt for me but I won't waste it I will still use it but wont be ordering again , the honey and oat biscuits are gorgeous especially with a cup of tea , the bee honey is also divine , I got the strawberry jam but not tasted it yet however I can only imagine that it will be as nice as the blackberry jam , the prices are higher but worth it and I will defo order again 😉

After travelling from Manchester I was in the area an hour early for a client so decided to pop over at 9.45 am

Had just put up sign to close off shop car park even though I could see a few spaces.
I said I was only staying for 15 minutes to get some stuff in the shop he said was on his own to try and control the car park but other car park just down the road. I went into main car park, 4-5 rows full and I pulled into a space on the right beside other vans / large cars so near the exit and shop and this women in the car park refused to let me park there even though another one went in
Wanted me to park further down even though I said I was only going to be 15 minutes
Her answer was Iv heard it all before !
I said I’ll just go then and she jet me drive off
No common sense at all
I just said to the guy on the gate you have just lost £1000 in sales in the shop I would have spent as she wouldn’t let me park up near the gate- crazy
Won’t be going out of my way again

I ordered several gifts from two web sites to friends in Europe. The gifts from the other store arrived without incident. However, the shipments from Diddly Squat were held up in customs in Germany and Spain. Diddly Squat need to provide gift options so that I can put a nice message with the gift and they need to make the customs declarations clearer. I now face embarrassment and probably additional costs.

Farm shop was small and overpriced. The outside area was nice. The toilets were way to small and configured stupidly. Been there now. Won't go back.

A place you feel you need to visit but dont bother. Very little to see and the prices are a joke, although l wasnt laughing. Went to a local restaurant with real choice and drinks that are not just apple and milk based. Seen it & definately will not return

Finally took the plunge to complete the 3hr drive from Manchester to visit both Diddly Squat and the Farmers Dog. We stayed over night to make the most of the weekend.
We decided to do Diddly Squat early on the Sunday to avoid any ques, and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 1030, and parked literally outside the shop. A steady flow of people around but we were able to walk straight in and around the shop. Maybe because its January, it was drizzling, and it was early(ish). We headed to the seating outside to admire the views, and left approximately 20 mins later as we wanted to head back over to the Farmers Dog (visited saturday) prior to heading home.
I really wanted an Emma Bridgewater cup, and assumed the shop would sell them? But they didn't! So headed back to The Farmers Dog for one.

Didnt visit the toilets, but if they are anything like the Farmers Dog, and the other reviews, then they need serious attention. Really let the site down for the footfall, attention and money earned, iv seen nicer toilets at fairgrounds.

Shame no socials or websites advertise clearly that breakfast food is served until lunch. We had no idea even after I checked the website and socials for days prior to our visit. We ended up getting breakfast from Costa on the way there, and we missed out on the delicious looking breakfast barms! This could be made clearer for people visiting. We feel we missed out here! We did however have the Burgers from the Farmers Puppy (10/10).

The shop is very small with limited stock and you do feel pressured to quickly go round as people are always flowing through. The shop at the Farmers dog seems to have more variety.

Still, Im glad we did it finally, as we are massive fans of the show.

Both sites easily do-able on the same day within an hour or so of each other. Just not worth the 6hr round drive for us, hence the over night stay.

Sorry did not quite do it for us. If you are a big fan, go. Otherwise… ?. Effort appreciated, prices a joke !! No really, they’ll make you 😆 laugh. And if you queued, maybe cry. Staff very friendly. Definitely, Diddly Squat..

After a two‑hour road trip spent swerving around enough Oxfordshire potholes to qualify for a rally championship, I finally arrived at what can only be described as a deserted farm shop. The place was so empty I half‑expected tumbleweed to roll past the entrance.

Inside, the disappointment continued. No bread. No cow juice, the milk dispenser had given up on life. Fresh meat was limited to a lonely handful of smoked and unsmoked bacon rashers.

There were, however, some eggs, a few bottles of water, and a modest selection of crisps displayed directly beneath Jeremy’s Smelly Bollocks, a product name that raises more questions than it answers. Beyond that, the shelves were stacked to the rafters with Hawkstone lager and cider, as if preparing for an apocalypse where only alcohol survives.

The rest of the site was equally lonely. The car park was empty except for several Olympic‑sized puddles. The toilets? One word: disgusting. The kind of place that makes you reconsider every life choice that led you there.

The only saving grace, the staff were genuinely friendly. Which, frankly, made the whole experience feel even more surreal.
