Great in store experience

The folks in store are very helpful and lovely. I went in knowing I was after a Jamiesons fair isle jumper. I had an idea of the one I fancied from looking online, but actually I didn’t end up liking that one. They were so helpful in helping me try on different colour ways in my size. I walked out very happy. Could spend a long time in that shop (and a lot of money!). Also a paraboot stockist, which is handy to know if you’re looking in Edinburgh. Thanks! Will be back.

My John Belushi Animal House days aren’t over yet, so I took advantage of the January sales and went on the hunt for a Madras shirt. The tinternet directed me to Dick’s, a shop I frequent when in Edinburgh. The last shirt in my size and, a colour I had to have. I wanted a specific day of delivery, no problem. I asked about the history of the manufacturer, information supplied. I received the shirt, the packaging and personal touches like the hand written post card thanking me, all added to the great purchasing experience. Oh and the shirt, it felt tailor made for me. Now where’s that beer 🍺

I recently purchased a MHL
Cardigan from this store .I phoned first to ask for sizing information and was dealt with by a guy called Calum . Calum offered great customer service and I made the purchase online . I received the garment next day to my delight and was very happy with my purchase. I won’t hesitate shopping here again , a 5
Star experience all round . Thanks again Calum .

Was searching for a specific pair of shoes in my size but they were out of stock everywhere until I finally found them at Dick's and I called to confirm the shoe size and model and if it was in stock and Calum from the store was incredibly helpful and kind and the shoes came next day! He even handwrite a nice thank you note for me in the box. Amazing shopping experience and would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Lovely transaction, great communication, speedy delivery and nicely packaged

I returned Christmas socks after the lockdown to exchange for a smaller size ,also had boots that cost £345.00 that had stitching missing,
I was told they would repair the boots which was fine my partner loved the boots but the socks they would not take back , I was told this store was a small independent store and was within their rights to refuse an exchange on the socks ,
I did not want a refund a credit note was fine .
I then asked for the socks to be put back in the bag for £30.00 I did not want grief but I would not shop back in this store I advise the lady.
She went mad came behind the till refunded the boots I wanted to keep and refunded the socks then told me how I had upset her.
I came out that store appalled with this behaviour.
Sadly my last visit to this independent retailer.
